Hotel Arches

This is the worst place that I have ever seen. They are not having a parking lot or restrooms for the drivers It's very risky to park athe the road side. They should consider the drivers needs also. Dont support these type of hotels. The reception staff is also not well mannerd. Drivers are the part of success of hotels and every tourism destinations.
So I never support these types of properties

I'm a driver from Trivandrum, Very sadly inform to all drivers who are comming in this place I don't get any nessessery fecilities for staying here (at least bathroom) and also got rude behaviour from the staffs here. The service is very bad and there's no room for drivers. I read another drivers feedback, also he got the same what I am facing from here, Please don't come here as a driver.it is my request for all

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that all my needs were met throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. The hotel’s location was also fantastic, with easy access to sightseeing locations.

This Hotel is located in the heart of Fort Kochi. Most of the Cafes, Restaurants, tourists attractions are at the walkable distance.

The staff was friendly and the whole stay was very pleasant.

Room was tidy. Stay was super close to the beach.

Definitely recommend staying. Manager was super helpful in providing flexibility with check-in.

Staff and location is superb. The rooms are good but can be improved. The fixtures need to be repaired in some rooms. Refrigerator is not working in my room

Dirty and really small rooms considering they charge 5k for it, very overpriced, comparable to a cheap oyo, endless supply of mosquitoes, filthy washrooms which will make you puke in seconds. Staff told us that there is no other room available but after complaining a lot a room suddenly appeared which was not good either. Also we paid for the breakfast but it wasn't served.

I stayed in Room 101 yesterday. The restaurant food was just ok and the rooms service and toilet was very poor and very unprofessional.when asked about the water they gave some some poor answers and the staff were mostly ignorant with poor knowledge how to deal with Guests. Useless service and a very poor hotel. Not at all worth the money spent.

Horrible place. Please don’t go, uncourteous staff and filthy rooms. They keep you on hold forever and the trip there is absolutely not worth it. Would not recommend ever to anyone. Ruined my entire trip.

Nicest people. I had to check in a day before my actual booking and they were very understanding of that. It was the peak of the tourist season, so they could have charged any amount. However, they chose to charge the much lower rate at which my original booking was made.

The manager Neeraj was extremely helpful. Helped us with sightseeing advice and tried super hard to help us find taxis at a very busy time.

Nice place to stay at fort cochi. Clean, comfortable and good service. Excellent restaurant Rasoi in house.

Saubere Zimmer (bis auf die üblichen Stellen unterm Bett und hinter den Schränken) und ein gutes Badezimmer mit schöner Dusche.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Perfekter Service!
Der Standort ist super - es ist alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Das WLAN funktioniert nur mangelhaft - Flug einchecken / Konto checken / Tickets buchen ist fast unmöglich.
Das Frühstück lohnt sich leider nicht.
Für den Wäscheservice haben wir 4x so viel bezahlt wie an anderen Orten.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Very professional staff and polite attitude.

Rooms are definitely a bang for the buck, well equipped and clean too.

Hot water takes a bit of time, in the shower, push tap left and wait.

They have like a small seating/verandah area in the middle of both floors. Couldn't explore the hotel but it looked really nice.

No elevators so you might have to climb 2 short stories of stairs, you can always ask for a room on the first floor if inconvenient.

Only has a North Indian restaurant within the hotel, food was very average. Loved the naan tho, butter chicken was soup-ish.

Location is perfect and nearby restaurants and cafes, shouldn't be a problem to head out to grab a snack or order in.

Arches Hotel was as described and a great place to stay in Kochi on a budget.

The rooms were slightly dated but clean and the staff were extremely helpful. Location was amazing, very relaxed and peaceful area near the sea.

Also the attached Punjabi restaurant was great.

If I could recommend anything for the staff, it's that a few small fixes in the rooms would go a long way. Such as removing limescale from the shower head, dusting behind the curtains and cleaning up the cables/fixtures/mini fridge around the room.

Room are good with good view and comfortable; linen could've been better and fresh.
Restraunt doesn't work in morning; so no breakfast

Very beautiful, well maintained and spacious rooms, value for money, nice location. Actually one of the best hotel.

Best location for tourist visit. Stayed here for 6D/5N. The staff were really polite & the Rasoi restaurant also has good food. They offer great service. A bit pricey (probably coz of the location). My only issue was that we had booked a room for 3, however it was a king sized bed & the windowsill sit area was converted to the 3rd bed with a mattress on top. The room had quite a bit of dust on arrival & due to the monsoon, the "3rd bed" was covered with dead monsoon flies (I'm not sure what they're called) all over.

Small and cosy place to get nice food at Kochi fort.
We tried chicken roll, roasted prawns, chickn hariyali kabab, chicken biryani.
Chicken roll was not that great.
Biryani had lot of masala into it thou we asked for less masala.
Rest of the ordered items were great.

But costly due to its location.

We head a great experience at this hotel. The in-house restaurant, Rasoi, is great. Rooms are comfortable. Great location. Excellent value.

We had breakfast here at their roof top restaurant. It was a buffet. We arrived late at 10: 15AM, still the staff allowed us and showed their patience. Great staff and good hospitality. We had some sandwiches, ghee roast, muffins, fruits and juice. Awesome ambience. Sure I will recommend this restaurant to all.

Been here in 2015 and came back 2019. Still very satisfied. All the staffs are so helpful and friendly, the room is good size and the hot shower works great! Breakfast on the rooftop is lovely, food options such as ghee dosa, masala dosa, pancake, omelette with simple buffet- more than enough for us. The restaurant connected (Rasoi) on the first floor is sooooooo fantastic, we had dinner there every day- stayed three nights and three dinners!

Neat and clean rooms. Facilities are great for the price offered. Loved the stay. Rooms are spacious and well equipped.

My wife and me stayed there for two days. So calm and peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant in downstairs serves delicious food.

Great service, very clean room and very comfortable nice quality mattresses. The sheets and mattress was of the high quality standard for a good sleep! Also, if you need taxi booking, it's service to provide that was excellent!

Excellent spot. But I don't think quality of service is upto mark. Situated very close to Fort Cochin fishing nets. Got excellent food choices outside the hotel. Budget hotel.

It's okay. Expect a typical mid market Indian hotel. A bit funky in places. Bed linens ok but not great. Included breakfast pretty average.not many choices.

Stayed at Arches for over a month during the Kochi Biennale - the hotel staff are by far the most thoughtful I've come across. From the cleaning ladies to the restaurant staff and the reception staff, it really is service with a smile. Since I was staying for a while, I got an excellent deal on the price despite the peak season rates. It helps if you can pay cash. The reception staff (especially Rajnish Manohar) even assisted me in my research and located contacts for me. Outstanding service, very comfortable rooms (esp the premium - I stayed in the standard and premium), great amenities for the price, far better than the other hotel I stayed in (Fort Manor). 10/10 would stay here again
