Hotel Aruna

Had a break fast dinein on Wednesday morning 7th feb, as usual it was good. But bought a packet of boli after that, really poor quality and was shocked as it got damaged within one day itself. During the breakfast, saw the suppliers supplied to the shop, that's why brought it thinking it would be fresh, but really disappointed with its quality @aruna hotel, please don't take boli orders from that supplier

Hotel Aruna is located at Palayam near Ayyankali Hall. It's a complete Vegetarian restaurant. I have tried almost every items in their Menu as i came here regularly during my college days.
There is nothing to complain about their food. Their meals is worth to try. The price is a little bit more than counter parts. There might be rush there everytime. It's a reliable spot in the area to dine in for those who want to try veg options.

Good veg meals. Resources will be given again and again. Rs. 100/meals. But worth it, if you can eat veg meals more.

The best Ghee roast I had…its very soft and crisp that melts in your mouth. However I cant vouch for Masala Dosa…And the ABC drink is very refreshing but bit costly…overall a nice experience.

I give all four stars for food, service and atmosphere because the help they give and services done by the staffs are extremely appreciative. We can have food in the City scape atmosphere and can get any transportation access easily.

Had been a regular customer of Aruna since many years.and i must say.they dont compromise on the taste or quality of their food.having the first bite makes me nostalgic to the very first time i tasted their food.my go to items are masala dosa, tomato rice, poori set.have tried their idli, thali and other items to.all are lio smacking.

For vegitarian very good place.and lunch meal is unlimited only in 100rs service is also good but need to be more improvement

This hotel is located in the heart of the city, opposite Saphalyam Complex Palayam. Coming to the food review, we ordered two dosas along with coffee, and I must say it was really delicious. The curries that were provided along with the dosa were too good, and it was worth every penny spent. But the coffee was not that good; it was on the stronger side without much milk or sugar. The cleanliness of the hotel has to be appreciated.

An average vegetarian restaurant. Quality of food good. Service also good. Cleanliness is just average, not upto the mark. Parking on road side only.car parking during peak hours is difficult.

Nice vegetarian restaurant. The dishes especially the lunch menu ones are pretty good. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

Very Tasty Vegitarian Food. The Veg Biryani was the most Ordered dish & it ran out quickly.

Food and tea and coffee were good, tasty and well presented. Service was good. They have maintained the standards of pre Covid days. Toilets were, however, not clean. There was no hardwash in the toilets

Good option for a quick bite around Palayam. It still holds the eighties vibes of Trivandrum. Food quality and quantity is substantial. Very inexpensive menu. The staff are courteuos.

Dine in now available except the AC hall.

This hotel is so precious from my childhood visit. Still our family visit here often if pass by. One of the best veg hotel in the city.

Most of the dishes are good. Some are over priced for the quantity. The hand wash area needs to be improved.

Ordered some dishes through Swiggy. Apparently due to some chaos/overcrowding at the Hotel, the delivery was late. That was ok, however, substituting chapati for Bhatura is just not acceptable!

Good hotel for breakfast. Clean surroundings. Tasty food. They serve sprouted green grams. Good customer service. Parking is an issue. But it's near safalyam complex, so we can park there and hotel is at walking distance.

Comfortable seating experience.descent hygiene. One of the best selection for vegetarians In trivandrum. It is near to road so parking for 4 wheelers is a tyring task sometimes

Choose blindly. Highly recommended vegetarian restaurant for your daily needs, Guaranteed quantity and taste, the place is normally crowded, people come here for a quick meal, so the ambiance is not at all important, it's a decent looking typical vegetarian bistro serving southindian dishes. AC dining rooms also available.
To the management, pls give priority to hygiene and maintaining the place well, The restrooms are really a place of mess.

Decent hotel for north indians who want to experiment with south indian food but don't want shocks. Reasonable prices and very tasty food. Thali was amazing. They also had few dishes without onion and garlic.

I have been a regular customer of Aruna for the past 10-12 years.

I have seen many changes to the shop and was ok with those. But some changes that started recently has made me to reduce the good reviews.

1. All the new delivery services has ruined the parcel service for customer who directly pick up. Majority of these customers are those who did not get a seat at the restaurant and decided to pick food. They are made to wait endlessly as the shop caters to these delivery services.

2. The attitude of the cashier is hopeless. I am not mentioning about the previous guy, but the one who was at the restaurant on Nov 3 morning. He does not care about the customers who are waiting for the parcel or do something for speeding up. The earlier guy used to follow up and chase the waiters to speed up. Second thing is he does not know to swipe a card at POS. This is not a lone incident, he simply disregards customers, handles the card in a flimsy manner. As a cashier he should be able to do cards as well. If it was one time we could understand, but if it has become more than 5 times over couple of months, that's not acceptable. Either he should learn or place someone who can do it for him.

Note: the food is great, no complaints on that.

I had bad experience with this restaurant many times.all the waiters are old aged and wont be considering your needs.bad customer service.not recommending.

Overpriced at Uber eats. I brought food from the restaurant directly and Uber eats. Not the real price in Uber eats. Food was tasty. I can't always come to the restaurant and have food, when I'm at home i can only order at Uber eats All dishes are overpriced at Uber eats. For example at restaurant ₹12 for 1 vada, at Uber eats ₹15 for 1 vada.

From childhood onwards we have been to this place it is a nostalgic experience for me and my family I highly recommend it

Reasonable pricing. Ac family room is also there. Situated just opposite saphalyam complex palayam. Cleanliness is average. Need to improve that.

Vegetarian restaurant near VJT Hall. Popular for South Indian food. Their North Indian dishes weren't as appealing as their South Indian. Serves all 3 meals. Reasonable pricing. Cleanliness is average. AC family room. Road side parking. Try to avoid visiting the toilet.

One of the Good vegetarian restaurant in city center. Service is fast. Affordable price and value for money. Good for south indian meals and dosas. Family seats are also available. Good for quick bite. Only issues are cleaniness and parking place availability.

All south Indian cuisines. Love there mushroom biriyani. Serves white rice as well as kerala rice for meals. Tastes like home made food. I have frequently had meals from this place. Payasum is also very tasty. Not so sweet.

One can get quality food the cost is comparatively and qualities comparatively good. Not 100 percentage clean but it is ok. Parking facilities not available except for one or two cars. Poratta is not good but chappathi is fantastic.

I am a regular customer in Hotel Aruna for the past few years. Without doubt the best vegetarian hotel in Trivandrum. Location in a prime spot just makies it easier. Can eat here with utmost confidence. The service is excellent and it takes very less time to get your piping hot delicious food!

Best afordable veg restaurant near secretariat. Idly, vada and dosa r the prime dishes here. I recently visited this place nearly after a decade and still the quality is splendid.

Had a masal dosa just 65₹ but it's awesome means just not a simple one. Consists with lots of quality n quantity. Like wise all the dishes are superb. Trivandrum, s one of the best VEG. Hotel is it.

AC rooms and non AC rooms, very spacious. Good services with kind and love. Very neat and clean.

Worst quality food in north indian.roti was very hard and paneer curry was poor. Paneer was very hard. The lime juice was average but they didnt provide me with straw.

You can get tasty thali meals with all accessories in the heart of town. The food was very delicious and in affordable price. The only problem with this restaurant is parking. We can't go there with vehicles. Can give 4stars. One star for parking facilities. You can get all the south Indian vegetarian dishes here.

It is good. But the customer service is ugly. Very late to take orders and for the delivery.
