Hotel Grand Canyon

3 star hotel? I’ve had better service from people selling cooked cockroaches under bridges.

Do not stay here. Unlike most hotels in india where customer service is their strongest point- this place doesn’t care at all. They will lie to get your money. They’re lucky india doesn’t have strict false advertising rules.

The room was big and neat. AC and fan worked, the sheets were clean.
Furthermore it was quiet and very spacious.
Sadly the bathroom was in a bit of a bad shape: The toilet lid was broken and the towels had stains on them and were old. There was no toilet paper in the room and the one they brought us just smelled old and humid.

On our last day we were able to keep our luggage at the front desk.
At night the hotel was closed by gate and guarded.

10-15 min walk to the main attractions in Fort Kochi.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

On demand the hotel organizes a one day (8: 30-15: 30) tour to Keralas Backwaters (not Allepey though). Price per person is 2.000,00 INR. The tour was fine, but quite boring. If you just want to see the backwaters and that's it, you should be fine. Typical Kerala lunch included, but be aware: no western toilet close by and only collected water to wash your hands.
Drinking water is provided at an extra cost.

Great location, we'll lit and clean rooms. One less star for lack of toiletries, less water pressure and no room service or breakfast facilities!

Very poor services. Very high charges considering the city and services. Doesn't have restaurant owned by hotel and no room services. Restaurant in the ground floor owned by others don't serve vegetarian food and breakfast but serves only non-vegetarian food. Worst part is that it serves Beef also. All most all nonveg restaurants serves Beef.

We had a very nice stay at hotel Grand Canyon! The room was clean and the staff was accommodating. The front desk was extremely friendly and even let us modify our reservation after our plans changed last minute. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Fort Kochi with great restaurants and cafes. Overall this is a really great, budget option for the area.

Overall it's a good hotel with good staffs and clean rooms. I suggest the evening receptionist should speak in English. He is good but he really need to speak. I couldn't understand him.

A bit noisy from the restaurant's kitchen. After 12AM it is mostly silence.
Tuk-Tuk's in front of the hotel, shopping options as well.
10 minutes walking to the beach or 4 minutes with TukTuk, for about 40-50 rupees.

Good hotel with decent amenities. Staffs were co operative and clean and neat rooms and toilets. They have a restaurant and parking space. All good

The staff services was okay and satisfactory. Food was tasty. All amenities were working well and it was a clean and spacious room.

Nice hotel with neat and clean rooms, 2 room apartments are also good for family, location is prime very near to fort Kochi market and beach.
