Hotel Mithila

A little delay is felt after ordering food. Need more staff to cater the needs of customers at restaurant.

We reached mithila restaurant by 3pm.pretty late for lunch.most places were closed for lunch.we ordered tiger prawns, fish curry, karimeen (pear spot) fish fry, mackerel (neimeen fry) and meals (rice with vegetable accompaniments). The seafood was fresh.slightly on expensive side.taste was great.cost would be around 800 per head if seafood were to be ordered.would recommend for a family lunch with tasty seafood dishes.

The food is good. I have visited this place during my drives from Trivandrum to Ernakulam. It lacks the space to accommodate people in busy hours. I feel they can do better.

The restaurant here offers a decent menu with seafood and other multi cuisine dishes. The food and the service was good with pricing a bit on the higher side. The place also has an ample parking area and is located on the highway side. Recommended for families with kids as they have a nice and well maintained kids play area.

Today (21/12/2022 at 1: 30 PM) had lunch from this hotel on our way to Ernakulam.
Even though I know the prices are high, I took some important guests along with me as we got good reviews from Google, but the experience was worst.
We were kept to wait for more than 45 minutes to get served however the food was not fresh, the sea foods were not cooked well. The service we got from the staffs were not satisfactory.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND, NOT TO CHOOSE IT FOR YOUR LUNCH.

Better to take the outdoor tables and to call before arriving as the in-house tables are not that great.

The parcel time is too long and the washroom were not that great but the food was great. I liked the beef fry there its one of the tastiest ones which only few hotels have

I had the privilege of visiting the restaurant today. Excellent food and ambiance. The staff are well behaved. No chance to get a good look at the rooms.

I went to their bar, I must say their staffs are good and trained. But the food they served was not good quality, specially beef fry, It was taste very badly. But luckily they changed it instantly when we complained about it. And we didn't take the risk to order the same again, we order kozhuva fry which was just about ok. The place itself is not upstandard place, no vibe just a local bar.

Decent Hotel with ample parking area. The food is quite good. Located on the main road. The staff is friendly and courteous. They also have bar on the premises. Banquet hall is good for small groups of 50 PPL. Restrooms are clean.

Great place on the highway side with good ambience and ample parking space. We had lunch and dinner here and the food was great both times. The meals here is very tasty (both veg and fish curry meals), chicken biriyani was tasty (Malabar style) and porotta (big size) and curries were great as well. Staff is very friendly but the service is little slow. Food options are limited (they don't have a menu) but whatever they have is very tasty and fresh. Bathrooms are okay, neat and clean. Overall would recommend this place.

I have visited the restaurant couple of times and the food is good. The food cost is reasonable but bit higher compared to other local restaurants.

There is enough parking space and it is kid's friendly. It is easily accessible from NH66.

They have both premium beer parlour as well as local one. The local parlour is always very crowded.

They claim it's 4 star restaurant but the quality is of 3 star. Noted a lot of housefly at restaurant. Price corresponding to 4 star hotel!

Decent eatery along the Kochi-Cherthala highway with ample parking space. Dishes were above average quality and nothing exceptional. But being along the NH, it’s a good pit stop as washrooms are clean.

Best food i had here. Tried authentic kerala food which is extremely good. Prawn fry is Delicious, made with coconut.

Everything was good here. The food dining space etc. Fair enough parking space they have kids section close to the parking, inside the restaurant it was peaceful and we had good food. But felt slightly expensive Compared to other places for the same dishes. Service also was good. Make sure you check the prices before you order. Fish pollichath was 900 something. We know it was pricey fish. But there was no proper menu. With pricing.

Very neat and clean and the tables maintained social distance. Very spacious parking space. But the Karimeen masla item served was not tasty at all and the cost is high.

Great food. Great service and ambience. Today tried sliced beef in orange sauce. Was awesome. Must try.

Good family restaurant. Food taste is good at an affordable price range. Ample car parking space and a small children play area are added attractions. Definitely try the karimeen fry it's delicious.

It's a good place for weekend dinner with family. Restaurant has good ambience and ample parking space. Especially children will definitely like the place. As far as food is concerned, it has good options of veg and non veg options. Kerala meals, briyani & parota are awesome. Must try.

They were very kind and the welcome was just perfect.
We were almost alone because we arrived kinda late, but still they were very friendly

Prices were so low and food quality was superb, so it was such a good start for Kerala in India. Tasted so many dishes, because we were a big group of 8 and wanted to share almost everything.

I gotta highlight the ginger curry and the paneer one. Both amazing, but everything was so tender and tasty.

Food was not that great.
I visited in the night, they gave me the food which was cooked in the mrng. Neat and Clean though!

We ordered Dosa's and Coffee, the Dosa batter had soured and the samabar and chutney watered down, the coffee was served with sugar, so much that it could count as a desert

The hotel is on the side of the national highway and offer room service great atmosphere, Clean, good service, quality and quantity of food is satisfactory and the price is a bit higher than other normal restaurant due to the quality they offer and enough space for parking and do have play section for the children

We ordered 4 chappattis and 1 chicken curry. They brought 1 chappati and 4 chicken currys. And it took 1 hour. The waiter lady said it was a busy time and they were right. But this was too much. I wouldnt recommend as my experience with the restaurant was pretty bad.

It's a nice family restaurant. Food is OK, not outstanding. Have plenty of parking space under the shade of trees. There's a kids play area attached to it. Especially good for people who are on a long road trip. Overall good.

The hotel has made a change in its ambiance since I visited last some thirty years ago!
The walk to wash room via the office staff is embarrassing to say the least.

Excellent facility for long distance travelers. Ample parking. I had lunch. Good variety at affordable prices. There is a children play area also. All well maintained

Have noticed this restaurant many times but never decided to stop there until recently. The restaurant is right on the highway and at a location that permits a good pitstop before getting into Ernakulam.
A word of caution however for those driving there - beware of vehicles coming the wrong way and always choose identified spots to take a U Turn.
The restaurant has a largish parking area but because it is not efficiently laid out it can get filled up quickly.
The restaurant is pretty ordinary and not different from any you see in this category. Service is decent and the waiters were responsive. Now comes the bad parts - the food is very oily. Some items were literally swimming in oil. I advise all to stick to items that do not require oil to make and also to instruct the waiters to go easy on the oil. The next issue is the cost which is on the higher side for the quality and ambience. The last negative issue regarding the restaurant is state of the washrooms and toilets. In a single word, it is a mess and the smell is horrible to put it lightly. This single issue contributed most to ruining the whole experience.
Regardless I still recommend this restaurant for a quick snack or for an odd lunch pitstop.
