We had visited there a day before and it was an amazing experience, friendly staff's and good ambience, balcony and a swimming pool for refreshment, great value for money.

Pros: Room are clean.
Hotel location is good.
Comfortable beds.

Cons:
No soap.
No toothpaste.
No vegetarian option.
No hot water if there are more guests.
Food quality is disaster.

Also they do not serve properly so book hotel without dinner only for ambience only Becoz rooms are best but restaurant service and taste is bad

Very bad service!
We only went to the restaurant. It was empty at 2 in afternoon.
While asking for menu, the manager said they have very limited options available so didnt give the menu. So we ordered a small amount of food since we were not sure of the quality, and decided to order more later.
Then the restaurant started to become crowded.
Once our food was served, we ordered some more. Surprisingly they denied service!
The waiter just said that there were too many people and its too late for lunch! What kind of restaurant denies food? It was very embarrasing!

By the time we finished whatever we ordered the restaurant was crowded and they were giving out menus and taking orders.
Not sure what kind of biased behaviour was that.

No wonder there were not a single person visible when we arrived there.
Giving two star since the food taste and ambience was good.

I loved the place, rooms are good too.
Normal deluxe rooms are too small.
But hygiene is good.
Restaurant ambience is awesome.
The worst part i experience here is there was no hot water. They are telling leave water for 10mins then it will come. So much of gallons of water wasted. Still no hot water. Please see through that.

Great stay near Edakkal caves! Booked directly by calling the hotel, charged Rs. 850 per head on weekdays with complementary breakfast. Clean rooms, swimming pool and responsive service. We also ordered dinner from the hotel, which also tasted good. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

They have better facilities when compare with the other places I visited before. They Keeps all areas clean and neat. Swimming pool, Breakfast, and Badminton facilities are available. Their hospitality also good. Please visit there, If you come anywhere near Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad.

Worst food I ever had, my family was all sick after having food from there. The food was so cold and it was not clean. They did not have any costumer service. I will never recommended having food from there. For your safety please don't go there.

We had good stay.swimming pool is well maintained. Indoor games are available, we had good time.

Worst experience ever. The restaurant manager misbehaves with my family and said if you want to eat. Eat. Otherwise I'll call the police. Hotel industry seems to have hospitality in their services/behaviour.

We wanted to have pleasent experience in Kerala and I ended up keeping my family starving in the middle of the night. This is not even any waiter or staff.but the manager of the restaurant himself portrayed like we're outsiders and kept us waiting for more than 90 mins for dinner. After complaining manager, he himself started arguing with my family about the order placed 90 mins before. We wanted to complaint to hotel manager but he (restaurant manager) told that hotel owner is my friend and you do whatever you want to do. I'll never suggest this hotel to anyone.even in worst case scenario, don't go to this hotel. I've never seen such level of pathetic service and we wasted our 1200/- and about 2 hrs of time in restaurant.

Went with my college friends 5 days ago.good service, good rooms with TV, good washroom, cool and super swimming pool, strong wifi, large parking space and good food.would always recommend this resort if u r planning to visit wayanad

Spent two days here. Very good place to stay. Has swimming pool, indoor games, attached restaurant. Around 5 tourist places are nearby to this resort.
Note- restaurants black service guy will be watching like watchman while having unlimited Buffy breakfast.

Hotel location was in Ambalavayal, Wayanad. The are is very quite. We were there as a part of group in April 26th to 28th. The group was consists of 40 People. We reached the hotel around 8.45 PM on 26th April after a long drive. The check in was smooth followed by dinner. Room was big with ample guest amenities. Hotel has arranged BBq night enjoyed by all.
I short the stay in the hotel was enjoyable by way of food and accomodation

This resort not have that great we'll maintained amenities and almost there is nothing to play outdoor games.

It's well budgeted hotel.location, food & rooms are good. Near to edakkal cave and phantom rock.

Very nice, staffs also very kind so.only bathroom ventilator to be closed with mesh, few flies and insects come inside. I strongly recommend OK to stay

Nice location food is very good but one bad experience is waiting for food I mean livefood.

Business hotel with a 10mtr pool. Ample parking. Spacious restaurant and meeting hall. Ideal for get together and meeting. Not recommended for resort seekers. Property in front of main road. Rooms with average standard. Food was nice. Staff behavior also good.

Very good experience. Nice and cooperative staff (special shout out for Anu). Clean room and toilet.

Good hotel with a nice pool and facilities. Hospitality is very good. But kids should be aware of drunken people in nights as the hotel doesn't follow a restriction on drinking alcohol on the hotel. Other all is fine.

No scenery here, but the service, parking, pool, badminton court are nice. There's no special view point.

Best budget hotel. Make sure you check the bedspread is clean once you enter. They are so humble at providing the service. Not at all money minded.

Mount Avenue - descent, safe, clean, compact & budget hotel accessible to all sight seeing points. Awesome food and menu served as per demand. Staffs cooperative and helpful and professional. Special thanks to Mr Ram in the restaurant for his extensive care and service. Great stay though the climate and view points are not great

Good stay in a budget. The restaurant food is also good and tasty.
There is a lot of space for parking. Staffs are also very polite and soft spoken.

Only downside I can think of is the location. It is bit outside the city area. And one needs to have their own transportation to move around

Hotel is located on the main road. Hotel staff is very courteous and cooperative. Food quality is better than most restaurants in near by vicinity esp for vegetarians. We booked the hotel directly by calling them and paying advance booking amount instead of going through travel websites. Food inclusions provided by hotel are a good deal.

Restaurant is only for who stays there. Parking space is very large to hold many busses. Not yet Stayed.

A hotel with great potential but underutilized. Great location yet to get a charming look in the future. Ample parking area, even for large buses. Large lobby but some hollow feel. Staff is good, rooms are spacious and equipped with necessities not luxuries. Reasonably large pool but not very clean but okay except for a frightening "no lifeguard on duty" board. If the management intends to, they can make children play area, indoor games and outdoor games a marvelous experience. Food is tasty but the restaurant is unimpressive.

Good place to stay for few days. Staff is well behaved and cool. This hotel is near to Kalpetta, Edakkal caves. Hardly some 30 to 40 mins from the Bandipur checkpost after entering Kerala. Rooms are good. Food is awesome. Swimming pool not so clean, when we visited.

Superb resort hotel. In wayanad one of d best resort to stay. Almost all aminities are there like indoor and outdoor games, swimming pool etc.rooms are small but very clean and neat. Bathrooms are are quite good. Reception is very good and anbiance is too good of resort. Ayurvedic massages are also available.

Nice hotel and great experience. Very well maintained. Food Buffet is decent. Staff is very cooperative. Swimming pool maintenance could be improved.

Easy check in process, ample parking space, helpful staff, location near to the tourist places like edakkal caves, panthomed rock, meusium makes it an added advantage.
Stayed here for 2 nights with family and loved this place.
Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were clean. Four of us stayed in a room with AC and AC was working fine. They have back up generator incase of power failure. Restaurant is good and food is served at very reasonable rates and we didn't find a resason to go out for eating. Restaurant staff were very polite and supportive. For morning breakfast they have limited items which may be improved.
Credit card was not accepted which is a concern.
Recommend this hotel for family trip.
They have solar powered water heater and on a rainy day you may not get hot water.
Finally pricing, I booked this hotel through MMT for 2 nights (AC room) for family of 4 members (4 people) for around 7K with complimentary breakfast and felt value for money.

Watch out if have book double bedroom and have selected 1person online then if u turn up 2 persons they will charge extra

One of the only places in Ambalavayal where you can actually get amazing food. Had their buffet breakfast which was a relief

Very nice and calm place. Breakfast awsome. Had pure vegetarian food. Had kerala special puttu and kadalai curry. Very tasty.lower cost. All staff are serving with smilng face. We had seen so many resorts but this one seems to suit much.

I stayed here for two nights. I made reservations directly with the hotel and the management staff were super helpful. It is located on a calm and quiet environment, very near to the Edakkal caves. There is plenty of parking space. Swimming pool is kept clean and provides enough privacy.
Staff lack a professional touch that you expect from such a hotel. But they make it up with their warm hospitality and genuine service. Our room had a problem with the lock and I just mentioned it to the reception desk in the morning. The most I expected was a hollow 'sorry' and a false promise. But, by the time I returned in the evening a new lock had been fitted!
Complimentary breakfast was tasty and weighed more towards Indian fare for which I have no complaint! (I assume that the cuisine depends on the guests in the hotel). À la carte menu offers a decent selection and I suggest ordering spicy food.
Free WiFi is offered to the guests but the connection was weak and patchy. Another thing that bothered me was the lack of running hot water round the clock. They use solar water heaters and many a time you will be left with cold water. I also had a problem with card payment during checkout. I think the basic problem is patchy Internet connection. So I suggest you guys to carry enough cash.

Despite some shortcomings, the lasting impression is their warm hospitality. If I were to visit wayanad again I would gladly choose this hotel.

TVs are small, could've been better ones by spending a few thousands more. Rooms lack coffee tables and chairs which would make the ambience better

Hotel rooms are really good and hotel has a swimming pool and spa massage centre.
But importantly food is really bad here.

We had visited the place for restaurant, food was good. Only minus point for us was the Raita as it was sour, else everything was good.

Hotel staff didn't aware of our booking, even we booked hotel a month before. So chcek-in experience was not good but finally they upgrade our room to suite. Other than that our experience was good, food was also good and amenities like swimming pool, wifi are good.
