Hotel Prayana

At first a message to the hotel manager. Do fix your AC in the lobby. Its a very sweaty if you remain in the lobby for 2 minutes. Its a basic thing and mind it the first impression always have a greater lasting period. So do fix This as in the entrance itself it's creating a bad impression about the hotel.please refill shampoo and soap on a regular basis.

Very Good and polite front office staff, Excellent customer service and good location, Reasonable price.
Room for improvement for bathroom. Toilet seat covers can be more clean.

The room was not clean especially the pillows (yellow stains were all around). The staff service was also not upto the level. They seemed to be of no interest. Had to wait a long time to avail the lift service. Guest lift was used to carry stage equipments.

Relatively good hotel, clean rooms. Location is close to railway station but surrounding are not very appealing. Wi-Fi wasn’t working even though they said it is available.

The Good:
The hotel is just a short walk away from Ernakulam Town Railway Station.
Polite staff at the reception.
We were offered a welcome drink while we checked in.
Soap, shampoo, towels and water bottles were provided.
The room was neat.

The Bad:
Small rooms and small bed.
AC remote didn’t work and the AC didn’t cool very well.
Food takes forever to be delivered to room. We ordered tea and it took more than half hour to be delivered even after following up with them twice.
Restaurant menu doesn’t offer much and tasted average.
Connecting their wifi to your device is a nightmare! Couldn’t get it to connect to my laptop. The receptionist said they’ll send someone to check. Nobody came!

Review written on 21st August 2022. This is the 4th time I'm coming here. They have significantly improved their standards in every aspect.
1. It's couple friendly, yet very professional for families to come and stay as well
2. Huge and Ample Parking space. You will never have to worry about parking ever.
3. Check in process was a breeze. No unnecessary questions or irritating behavior by staff. Very professional.
4. They provide a complimentary welcome drink to all customers
5. The rooms were simply impeccable. Maybe the only flaw I can point out is that some of the things look a bit old. And the economy room can be a bit small. But everything works like a charm.
6. There is a quality bar with room service with drinks at a very affordable price. No restrictions on alcohol or smoking in the rooms.
7. Room service food is excellent and the staff are courteous.
8. All food and bar bills are settled at check out

Went after reading one review about chatti chor, but just an ordinary fish curry meals which is serving in chatti.
Had aviyal, thoran, egg fry (very pathetic egg omlet).

Nice rooms. Calm and quiet rooms. Even though it's nearer to the railway station (nearly 3 mins walk) you won't hear any train horns or sounds.nice place to stay. Good for a couple to stay.their staff give a good service. But the food quality has to improve a lot. Other than food, all perfect.

It was a fabulous stay I have ever experienced.superb room, atmosphere over there food they provided was soo yum tasty and delicious.staffs are soo good and patient kindly available whenever we need and most impressive thing is they set every rooms on affordable manner.which the visitors looking forward.guys i am sure that if you choose prayana u will get an amazing stay. I liked a lot the ambience of the hotel and is very convenient to move across areas of Kochi and Ernakulam.
Suggest to have more tidy towels

Rooms and services are ok for the price. Being near to the railway station, bus stop and a restaurant gives the location an advantage.

It's a remarkable moments I spent with my team here, also the service personals are good too.specially thanks to miss bidya for her dedicated dignity of service for us.

The best part about this hotel was its location, ample parking space, food and service. Special mention to the hotel manager who was polite n generous and help us strike a deal for longer stay.overall i would suggest others too to give a visit.

We came to theevandi stories restaurant to have chattichoru and not to stay in prayana hotel on a lousy holiday. It was the best chattichoru in the heart of the ernakulam city, walkable distance from Ernakulam town railway station. Affordable rate. Excellent ambience, delicious food and great service. You will definitely enjoy the experience. Friendliness of the staff and their hospitality is exceptional.

Room was good but the staff at the restaurant was probably inexperienced in handling the customer. We faced difficulty. Stay is nice but restaurant service is something to be cautious of.

Terrible is not the word. They take 1 hr per dish to serve. They won't serve water. The food gets over midway and the guest has to go hungry. Plus the staff is unapologetic about the chaos. Its a definite skip of you want to avoid a horrendous experience.

A splendid choice for all kinds of gatherings. Great customer service. The ambience is so warm and comfy. Price is really reasonable. The staffs were extremely welcoming and helpful. Wide parking facility is available. The food is best in the town. I tried Indian cuisine and it was awesome. Thank you guys for the wonderful experience.

We organized our school reunion there. It was amazing service with excellent hall. Highly recommended.

A good place to stay near Ernakulam North Railway station. An in house restaurant is also available but outside food is allowed.

Great experience to stay in Prayana Hotel, Kochi. Fast check-in and checkout procedures. A special thanks to Mr. Dinil, Front Office Manager whose proper co.ordnation for comfort stay. Congrats him. Mr. Dinil and all other staffs are well-mannered. Rooms are very neat. 100% recommend for a peaceful and comfort stay.
