Hotel Sea Face Kovalam

Excellent location. Right on the beach. It's not crowded like some of the other establishments on Hawa beach. The rooms are delapidated, and are not being maintained. The service itself & staff are very good. The food is very mediocre, but there's a ton of options nearby.

It’s at brilliant location, can sit all day long near the pool watching the sea and enjoying your drink. Not very elaborate menu, but they prepare the limited items well. Could be little better on spread. Nothing great on breakfast buffet, limited items cooked well. Surprisingly no cut fruits in breakfast menu. The location is highlight and helpful to directly access beach and then return. Staff is very polite and they have in-house Ayurvedic massages as well. Rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean, but feel a bit old.

Amazing location.but hotel is old and so are the services. Night no electricity and back up generators not working.

We found sea face to be a very good hotel with comfortable rooms in an outstanding location. Breakfast was also nice and healthy. All linen and towel was changed daily. It was ideally placed near the beach and the walkway to local bars and cafes.

Sea facing rooms have very scenic view.
Swimming pool was clean though the water was salty.
Rooms were clean except the restroom.
Restroom cleanliness should be improved.
Staff were helpful. Food was good.

Possibly one of the best places to stay if you want a seafacing room. The room was big and clean for it's cheap price. Bathrooms were well kept too. They even have a parking. The breakfast was okay and the pool didn't look that great but overall good

Good location. Poor Hospitality, poor service and very bad food. Salt water pool. Repeated power supply failure. Few bulbs blow out due to sudden voltage surge, which was a nightmare. Won't allow to take food out of the dinning hall. They didn't allow females to sit near pool side. They were arrogantly asked to leave. Bitter experiance.
Excellent location, if the service improve it is an excellent property.

We are staying here from 4th to 7th April. Worst experience in term of hotel management.
1. On 5th April, hotel had no electricity for 8 hours, from 7: 30 AM. When we ask, they just sited technical issue.
2. I requested for Luke warm water for my medicine but did not receive. (can’t heat it up room because of no electricity.
3. On 6th April, AC is not working and when asked, they told that technician is coming from city. We gone out and return in 4 hours but still technician is not arrived and AC is not working
So basically I am paying for their technical issue and not for our comfort.
Worst experience in all my hotel stay so for from last 10 years.

Nice room the bed are really clean staffs are very cooperative and it has a nice view of Vivekananda Rock and sea I want to visit this hotel again

What a hotel location! Sea facing rooms r just Beauty of this hotel. Rooms with spacious balconies.
Food is costly than other restaurants in this area. So stay here n have lunch n dinner on Light house beach.

The owner is torturing guests by keeping his own rules. We will not get freedom in property including car parking he decides where to park.

Good spacious rooms n clean too. Food was normal but of quality.the resort has good view if the beach from the rooms and opens directly to the beach walkway.

Had good relaxing time in this hotel. Their location is best if you compare with other hotels nearby.
Rooms- clean and comfortable. Newly renovated rooms.
Location and view- best in class with sea view.
Food- Dinner preparation is fast. Mix veg curry was really good. Rates may look high, but quantity will compensate that. Breakfast can be improved though. Limited options available.

Wifi- speed at lower side. But phone network is good in here, so not really required.

The only Hotel in the entire stretch of Kovalam hawa beach which has an excellent view of the sea and has a proper license to sell liquor!

Probably the best located hotel in Kovalam at budget prices. Room size & washroom size very decent - requires a bit upgrade in its interiors.

The hotel restaurant also very ideally located but food quality is no wow - surely management must look into this.

I went to enquire for organising an Event. The event was for around 150 people. So the person on the front desk very casually, not dressed well, not well spoken, not a smile on his face given the line of his profession no courtesy whatsoever, comes to the the counter and asks what we were looking, on giving him the details, he started off with “you will not be able or afford the place” in the local dialect.
So is this your sales team? You lost business. A really good one.

Items provided for the break fast was very meagre. Manu for the lunch was also not adequate.bed coffee or tea not provided on call.is to be made in coffee maker provided in the room.

To start with no hot water, no hangers in washroom, no wifi and to top all these their service is pathetic. Swimming pool is first floor is not cleaned, food is outrageous expensive and any service tha you asked is charged at a premium and the service is below average. We were planning to stay for few days but had to check out after one night.

I can't say anything about the room as I have never stayed there but regularly use the excellent pool.

It is an excellent place where you can spend quality time. It is very close to beach and has well-maintained quality rooms.

Nice place to stay if you want to look at the beach. Really amazing sea view rooms you can easily access the beach from this hotel. Probably its like a private beach stay but common people also visits the beach.

But they have some cons

* The breakfast is free but its very limited. They serve only idly, and poori and boiled egg. More over the poori is not available when we visited.

* Due to power fluctuations A/C is not worked at night when we called the room service no one picked up. Morning we have complained about this but they simply said due to covid we are running with less staffs.

* The food in restaurant is costly and less varieties only available

We moved here from Ktdc Hotel for two nights. The suite was great with a small kitchen two single beds and a lovely balcony looking out to sea. The staff very friendly and helpful. Only small complaint that they could do with a breakfast menu as the food when I came was excellent but we did not know what choices we could make. Apart from that we would highly recommend this hotel.

Good and enjoyable ambience atmosphere. Only staff has salary problems. MD is good and does favour to staff but managerial staff doesn't allow to tell anything to MD

Horrible place. Within India, Indian citizens are treated as second class people. All the waiters just attend to the foreign nationals and ignore the Indian guests.

Terrible service, understaffed, manager at front wants to make the most money so he prioritizes those who are affluent, no one talks english, two workers are not paid at all and working 150 hours a week so they are not inclined to work hard.

Worst of all, we had a senior citizen with us which they paid no attention to.

Hotel Seaface is an amazing sea face hotel as the name. Situated right near the sea. Attached photo itself speaks a lot.

Bar Available near swimming pool right opposite to sea.
Ordered food served in decent time.
Got complimentary breakfast.

The best location for a resort on Kovalam beach, facing the sea and with its own clean swiming pool, maintained well, great staff led by my Jaikumar, who's hospitality was truly appreciated, Good food too and prompt room service, all in all best stay at Kovalam yet!

Good place. Good atmosphere. Tastey food. Chilled beer. "But beer parlour staff are not friendly".

Very close to the beach. Nice rooms with good view. Balconies are wonderful. Staff are very polite and efficient. Room service is very prompt and nice. Parking is convenient. Pool is not that big but ok. Rookies may find it difficult to drive back as there is a steep climb just before reaching the main road.
