Hotel Seagull

Staying at Hotel Seagull was an absolute delight. The sea view from our room was breathtaking, and the sound of the waves was soothing. The staff were attentive, and the beach access was a bonus. A perfect choice for a relaxing coastal getaway.

One of the best chilling spots to hang out or chill with family or friends. Even toddlers/kids get happy going there as the have some slides and swings. The ambience, food and service is splendid! If u are in Kochi, u must visit. They also offer beer and wine. Like a said- It’s a great place to hangout with mind blowing view and cool breeze!

A very calm and relaxing place. If you r looking for a place to enjoy and chill with a beer nd to enjoy the breeze from the sea! I would highly recommend this!

Favourite hangout cum eating place in fort kochi. Visited multiple times just for the port wine and delicious food. No change in the waiting period for the pier side seats.

I was looking for a place in Fort Kochi to sit by the water and enjoy a cold beer and some decent food. The restaurant at Hotel Seagull fit the bill!
I arrived around 6 and, although all of the outdoor tables were reserved, Vishnu offered me a lovely table by the water - with the proviso that I finish by 7: 30 so that the party that had reserved the table would have it. No problem! The setting is lovely - even without a great sunset. Beer selection was good as were the prices.
I’ve been living in India for a year now so I should know better that “grilled” doesn’t mean the same here as in the US. Nonetheless, I ordered the grilled tiger prawns and grilled squid. As usual, there was no sign that they had ever seen an open flame. I ordered the lemon garlic butter versions vs.the masala option. They came with some kind of sauce that didn’t taste particularly like lemon. I wish they had just buttered them and squeezed lemon on them. It would have made the seafood taste much better. Vishnu’s service was great and I never felt rushed.

5 stars for the ambience and food. But skipping a star just coz the time taken for serving the food aftr placing the order. Toooo much time and misplaced an order too. But still one of the best place in Fort Kochi

Awesome Restaurant in the banks of the Kochi Kaayal facing the Vallarpadam Container Terminal.

Ideal place for Team Gatherings and also Solo Couple visits.

There is also a Beer & Vine parlour attached for the Folks who wish to Booze by the side of the Waterbody.

An evening here by the sea, with sun setting and calm breeze is amazing and something to enjoy!

Food is good, but the problem starts with the fact that they " apparently " charge higer rates for the seats on the sea deck and the waiters are a bit rude or very judgemental!
This was annoying!

This is a nice place to hangout for both lunch and dinner. The highlight of the place is it’s beautiful seating right on the sea. One can sit there for hours just looking at the passing shops. The location is the best thing about the place. There isn’t anything like this in this area.

The food is local cuisine and serves sea food and meat dishes and also vegetarian options. The Kerala cuisine is really good here. We tried the squids and prawns in Kerala style and they were really tasty. The food is spicy but not hot and therefore a favourite. It’s also fresh and delicious

The staff is polite and the service is decent. There is nothing fancy about the place but the view is just too gorgeous! It’s a must visit if you are in Fort Kochi!

All drinks are not available. Ambience is nice. Good spot to spend with friends cracking Mammookas Big B dialogues.

Had a really bad experience when the waiter asked for my girlfriend’s id and age when clearly she looks her age. We’d beenthere many times before but this is the first time we had such an experience. Both of us were tired from travelling all the way from so long and this was what we had to go through. We would not have questioned this if it was already the case but this is the first time we were faced with such treatment. So disappointed because this was our favourite hang out place and this was such a turn off. Really angry and sad writing this about our favourite place in the entire city.

The only thing good about the place is the location, that too they charge extra to sit on the pier. The staff is extremely patronising and judgemental, specially if the group is of only females. Would not recommend.

As there were not that many options for a proper bar and restaurant in Fort Kochi people tend to go here over all its fine

We went and ordered the food at 8.10pm.and got the food served to us something at 9.30 9.15. The menu is not properly divided.oike starters.main courses.like that.the ambience is nice.but not pocket friendly.staffs are ok

Good place to spend some time with friends. There seafood catalogue is really good. We enjoyed it.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The service is too poor and the behaviour of staffs is very rude and sexist. Not a place for ladies and girl groups as the staffs kept staring at us and made us very uncomfortable. Food was expensive and not worth it. Please teach your staffs some manners and courtesy and also how to respect women. ‍️

This place has a vibe of its own. You can right at the deck with a view of the backwater. It's really crowded all the time so expect to be waiting. Also parking can be an issue at times.

Food is amazing though. But we had to wait more than an hour for it arrive. Overall experience was great. Would really recommend it.

Beautiful place with the worst possible staff. They are way too rude, customer service is pathetic and the manager is a crass human being. He needs to be fired and given lessons on how to treat your customer. Never ever going there again. There are better places with a waterfront.

Awesome view from the restaurant. Good food and service. Restaurant lets you have your food peacefully and enjoy the place.

The sea food platter was descent, the only flaw I noticed is that the whole thing had the same taste. Excellent ambience, great service and their porottas are famous.

Upscale restaurant, hidden from the main road. What makes Hotel Seagull's meals worth it is the view of the sea. Otherwise the food isn't as special as they make it out to be. Again, the sea view even almost justifies the price

A pleasant ambience with good cleanliness and well maintained place. The hotel service is moderate as it was soo crowded. Waiting for the food was the most annoying. Value for money is fair depending on what you buy. Otherwise, everything is fine and good. Can Give a 4/5 Rating Overall.

Terrible service with pathetic food. Do NOT get seduced by the waterfront, the experience here will ruin the beauty of the view.

The place was smelly and the staff didn't seem too keen to help and place seemed pricy for what it had to offer.

Good ambiance, a perfect place to chill over at the evenings. If enjoying a beer by the seaside is your kind of thing then it's a must visit. The food is average.

The worst service I have seen in my life. I have been waiting here for the past 2 hours. And when I try to ask the staff here they don't even care. Won't even look back even when go directly and poke them. They have no idea of what is courtesy. Don't go here if you are hungry. If you want lunch then you have to reach here by morning and beg them that they take your order. And if you are really really lucky you might be able to see the worst food you have ever tasted, when you get ready to leave after you have exhausted you patience.

Nice ambiance but the service is soooooooo slow it took them over 2hours to serve lunch. The waiter told us that it takes a hour to serve and we assumed he was being very pessimistic but he was an optimist it took 2 hours. But the time the food came we had lost our appetite.

It's situated near back water and that's makes it less hygenic.the ambiance is good but the rate is little high

Good ambience. But too much of crowd. No reservation system. So we waited for 30 mins and returned back without eating.

The food and the ambience is awesome. Place is usually crowded during the nights and the weekends especially during the Biennale time. Service is also good. Enjoying a beer, sitting at the pier and with the cool breeze blowing - nothing beats that.

Good food, amazing ambience but expect delay in service. Scope for improvement in the selections of beers. As the name suggests this is a sea food restaurant. And the must try item on the menu is the sea food platter.

Bad service. Took us an eternity to get our order and that too incomplete. On enquiry they told us that the kitchen is closed and can't take any more orders (time 2200 hrs).
So basically the staff decided what we ate that day. Only good thing was probably the view and the kids play area. Not going ever again.

Food very good and very reasonably priced. However the length of time it took to be served was unbelievable! A 45 minute wait for the starters, and then we only got 1, the other 3 were served 30 mins later with the 4 main courses. Not much on the menu for our gluten free friend.

Really beautiful place. The food is good. They serve beverages as well. All the side dishes are amazing especially prawns and chicken items. They serve crab and it is delightful. Very ambient place. Lots of places to take pics. They have swings and slides. Overall very good vibes.

Looks like each dish you place, the staff runs to the market to get the items to prepare your dish. Though the ambience is good that gets shadowed with the pathetic service (staffs lacks courtesy). Hats off to all the customers who had the patience to wait for them to serve.

Never experienced such worse delay in getting food from anywhere. Not a good place to visit if you are hungry not really hungry even if it is just "hungry" because it becomes ages for them to give your food.

Bayside restaurant and bar with reasonably priced food and drinks and very quick service. The harbour views are amazing!

This place is lit for a night out with your friends Drinking, the ambience is insane and the only one of a kind in the whole of Kerala.
If you're lucky you'll get a table or not you'll have to wait till one is free by the water.
