I came there at 8.30pm, chickenbiriyani become bad smell, I told the cashier for it but he refused to change the item.very bad behavior

One of the most famous biryani spot in Kannur. The biryani served here is pretty decent but not the best in Kannur. The must try item is the leghorn chicken biryani which is served very hot even around 3 pm.

Even though the crowd and rush is high the place inside is very suffocating and congusted. They should consider moving to a better space based on the customers they have.

Chicken Biryani and Lemon Tea, was on my order, both were great, the tea had a variety flavour and the briyani was so flavourful and juicy. Wallah!

Food is good.but space is less.no security devices like CCTV. A Brazilian behaved irresponsibly when he told them he had been dumped. Still try to install CCTV as soon as possible. How can the Corporation give a license to an establishment that does not have CCTV?

This is a Biriyani centre setup, food is ok ok. The total experience should have been better.

You get one of the best biriyanis in kannur here. The hotel is very congested. Considering the crowd they have, they could move to a bigger place.

This biryani uses lagoon chicken which is a bit tough but cooked well, Perfectly coocked one. The rice stuck to the hands was little annoying but the taste was awesome. They have very limited dining space so it's better to take away your biryani. Here's another interesting thing when you open the parcel box, the smell. You cannot experince it from any other place than here.

Single biriyani quality very poor. No taste i order in wakharo. Never order in soft anymore

Over the years still the same amazing taste and reasonable rates. I wish they had bigger dine in options.

Restaurant soft is the best in town Biriyani house, where you can find the real flavour and taste of Malabar Biriyani. A must visit place for a Biriyani lover. Price for a full Biriyani is ₹170 (in year 2022), for the quality they provide this is reasonable price for such a cuisine. The restaurant is very small and it has an occupancy of 18 people to dine in. The chairs are allocated for 4 people in 3 row and another 2 seating in 3 row. They mainly focused in take-away service.

A small restaurant you can find in between the shops in Fort Road. Doubt Biriyani taste the same as it used to be, But still its good qnd can give a try. A best place to have Biriyani porotta chicken curry. It's location makes it easily accessible.

This hotel basically is a small joint in the heart of Kannur Town, next to the Kannur City Centre, this hotel serves one of the best Biriyanis in the whole district. The Hotel started years ago, the reputation it has built over the years is very huge. But recently the hotel has been serving Biriyani with Chicken pieces either very small or just 1 piece in a Full Chicken biriyani. The Biriyani in this hotel is made from Leghorn Chicken, folks who like it will enjoy the biriyani. So if you are looking for a good biriyani join, check this out! Hotel soft is a joint which I make it a point to visit eveytime I come down to Kannur. I cherish the taste of their chicken biriyani when I stay away from Kerala and it is this taste which force me to visit Soft Hotel whenever I get a chance.

I am a hardcore biriyani fan and have tasted variety of biriyani's like hyderabadi, thalappakkatti, malabar, thalacheri, timore, andra biriyani etc. But the peculiar taste of the biriyani we get from Soft Hotel is not comparable with any other variety and should be given a new brand as 'soft biriyani'.

Here the biriyani is cooked using 'kaima rice' and the chicken is 'white leghorn'. White leghorn chicken is healthy compared to steroid injected broiler chicken and Hotel Soft is one of the rare joints in Kannur which serve white leghorn chicken. The taste of biriyani rice itself is special because of the ingredients added to it.

You MUST try Chicken Biriyani of hotel soft if you get an opportunity.

Ordered Chicken Biriyani through Swiggy yesterday keeping in mind the good reputation Hotel Soft had, But I was totally disappointed. Though the rice was ok in that full Biriyani there was only one leg piece which looked like having polio.
Never expected this. Won't recommend Hotel Soft anymore.

I had chicken biryani from this hotel and I would say Just average biriyani and they charge 160 for chicken biryani definitely not worth it though quantity is huge and the difference I felt in their biryani is that they put some chutney type of thing on top of the biriyani before serving it

You can find lot of restaurants in Kannur but taste wise they are all on average line except Soft. Lagoon chicken biriyani served here is the best one in Kannur. The only negative i found is the space - too congested but clean and hygiene.

Probably the best biriyani restaurant in Kannur. Their biriyani is very tasty and cost ₹160 for Chicken Biriyani. After 5pm, they also have Chilly chicken, Porotta. This hotel is famous in Kannur for its biriyani! They also have have Mutton biriyani, beef biriyani etc. The ambience is not that great, because this restaurant is so small to include family members; and parking space is less.

Expected a big hotel. But this is like a hole in the wall kind of place. Hardly have seating capacity for 10-15 people maximum. Tried their chicken biriyani and chilly chicken. Both were good. The biriyani had chicken that was well cooked tender and soft. The chilly chicken was also good. Though not exceptional but its not like the Chinese preparation.

One of the best biryani available Kannur. Perfectly cooked leghorn chicken chicken, flavourful rice, spicy masala, all mixed up making this the best biriyani in town. This is an experience, magic in the mouth from the first bite. And believe it or not, the taste just doubles when you eat the biryani next day.
