Hotel Soorya Castle

Waited in reception for more than 15minutes and even called the mobile number given in reception around 4-5 times.but no reply or response

Terrible stay.

No powerbackup.
No power for the whole night.
Room service was not available
No water heater.
Complete waste of money.

Really pleasant and clean rooms and the staff was amazing.overall I had a great experience with the Soorya castle.

We had a very good stay at soorya castle the rooms and the atmosphere is so beautiful, the price is also reasonable acrually the receptionist was very kind and very helpful for us he arranged a bike for us to visit the near by placess and we had a bus at 11: 30 so for that he arranged an auto for us really felt very happy we enjoyed our trip

Location is next to highway and hence easily accessible. Rooms are spacious and neat. Room service is also superb. There is a restaurant right outside. Also, there are spices and gift shops next to the hotel.

I would recommend people to stay here as the rooms are quiet good and no problem with the car parking even though it is outside, I felt it’s safe… but sometimes these reception guys are not reachable…there is a restaurant under these lodge, so that we can get the food easily, these people will deliver the food to our rooms with no extra charge…view from the window was quiet good

A Comfortable place to stay, but the ambience could have been better. The customer service in the restaurant was not something I was impressed

We checked into this room after a tiring day. We were two families and have booked 2 rooms. The ambience of room looked good and we sighed saying good room to relax. Nightmare started after this. When we switched on the AC after few minutes water starting leaking. It was like mini Soochipara falls. The top portion of bed got wet. The other room is no difference. Spent 1.5 hours to get the linen changed after a long discussion with staff. The only staff do not understand either English or Hindi. After all this wanted to have a hot water bath. There is no hot water at all. Staff said water tap has to be kept open for 2-3 mins. We wasted water for 10 mins keeping the water tap open, but still no hot water. Worst experience after a tiring day. Spoil your holiday. Stay away from this property to enjoy your vacation

The view and rooms of this hotel is amazing. Service is poor.sorry to say but this hotel can be maintained and can be a lot lot better. Rooms and washroom are neat and clean but there was no hot water available in the freezing cold

The room was good and clean. The view was awesome. But the linen had hair all over. I asked for a extra bed sheet, since i did not want to sleep on a hairy bed. Hot Water was available all the time.

One of the worst hotel I ever stayed, they took more amount than the online price 1300, no room service, no staffs at all, no hot water nothing is provided in the room. Don't waste your time and money in this hotel.absolute useless hotel and staffs. Not even worth of single star.

Washroom was clean and hot water was available 24/7.
Room was full of hairs and linens too. Linens wasn't washed for a while.
There is no inhouse restaurant but the adjacent hotel has restaurant where taste and prices are okayish.
AC was working but no remote.
Had given 3 stars cause they allowed us to keep our luggages till 3pm since we went for chembra trek and gave 10 mins time freshen up once we came back.
That helped us a lot.

Staff was not helpful, we booked the room on call and when we visited they denied it upfront. Their restaurant Taste and mist restaurant food was also not good. Paneer kohlapuri was worst.

The food and service is really bad. I'll give 1 star for food and its taste. And zero for the service.

2. THEY TOOK 30 MINS TO ALLOCATE THE ROOM

4. NO ELECTRIC KETTEL as mentioned
5. NO Room service
6. No Laundry Service
7. No proper designated parking
8. NO GEYSER OR HOT WATER AVAILABLE AT A HILL STATION.our family (including 4 kids) had to freshen up in chilled water.
9. There are monkeys around the resort and they pooped in the gallery
10. No Intercom.
11. Over priced
12. Washroom ventilator glass broken, exposes bathroom to the roadside
13.bathroom is filled with the exhaust smell of a restaurant adjacent to the hotel.
14. Staff is new and untrained

Worst experience at an exorbitant rate.

Nice place to stay with family.affordable price.helping staff. Clean place & parking area is good. Rooms are spacious & well maintained.
