Hotel Sree Lakshmi Brahmin's Pure Vegetarian

A humble vegetarian restaurant. What they lack in ambience and comforts, they make up for in food and service. Stop here for a sumptuous South Indian breakfast at a very low price point, served by polite staff.

We went here for dinner on last day. It was closing time. Ordered Ghee Roast quickly. Staff were in a rush of closing.

Ghee Roast was average
Sambar was OK
Chutney is average
There was no tomato chutney (personally I like it to be present with all dosa idly items)
Tea - good.

I think the ownership is of Brahmins, but staffs are not.

The food was tasty enough to give it a monthly visit, typical ol time south restaurant with not much importance on furniture but on food instead. Their pickles and mixes are worth a try

When i think about having ghee roast, first place to come in mind is hotel sree lakshmi.hot vada and hot ghee roast are my favrt here.but not a big fan of vegetable biryani.coffee is also tasty lacking in a little cleanness.once a supplier gave me and my mom glasses of water but his fingers were dipped inside.it was disgusting.hope they won't make same mistake again.

Really speaking - do not judge the book by its cover is absolutely apt. The hotel does not have a flamboyant exterior or location. Opposite to Aster Mims hospital, it's in a lane.
The interior is very conservative and very normal. People are very very very good. The owner is cool calm and composed. The people supporting the mission and vision of the place is phenomenal.
Last but not least, really fantastic, tongue tickling and tasty food. Nominally priced. The icing on the cake - there are many items like pickles etc that you can take back home.

A pure veg restaurant that has been there for so long. Ghee roast, Masala dosa and Vada here are the ones to try

Pure vegetarian hotel, near MIMS hospital, No parking area, can park at owners risk, toilet stinks, need to maintain, normal eatables, ok for a fast tea and Snaks.

Good veg restaurant serves good food but don't have good seatings like most of the restaurant in calicut

Sometimes if i can send a terminator back through time, it will be to stop the establishment of this disgusting hotel. After eating here, no wonder u will get ALL DISEASES possible. Horrible service and an even horrible owner. Outsiders beware. One would argue it was made there by MIMS to increase the intake of patients from food poisoning.

It is a great place for good food near Mims. It is cheaper and less crowded than Mims hospital canteen. They even have meals for dinner.
It is the best option for a good vegetarian food near Mims.

നല്ല ഭക്ഷണം. അടിപൊളി. പുട്ടും ഇഷ്ടു കറിയും ആണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ സ്പെഷ്യൽ. വൈകുന്നേരം നാലു മണി മുതൽ പുട്ടും ഇഷ്ടുവും കഴിക്കാം.

Price is a bit on the higher side when compared to coffee house. Uzhunnu vada in the evenings is highly recommended.
