One of the best options for vegans in Palakkad town. Located a few kilometers from the heart of Palakkad, near Kalpathy Gramam, right hand side towards Olavakkode via Puthiyapalam Road. Tasty food, Good atmosphere, Best service, More seating space.
We tried Poori Masala, Masala Dosa and Coffee. No doubt, the food was super tasty, and all the other side dishes were superb.
Plenty of seating spaces in the main restaurant area. Cleanliness and individual attention to customers are also excellent.
Cost wise it's not expensive, The only negative felt is the toilet facility is outside of the restaurant and it's not clean.
Go to go restaurant for South Indian breakfast, the food is so tasty that it will remind you of your mom. Authentic vegetarian Brahmin go to go restaurant. A must try!
Very good food but one day i saw the cashier smoking infront of the hotel and due to this the front seats were covered in smoke which is not very respectable act nor healthy for a restaurant employee as well the customers
Lovely little vegetarian hotel in Palakkad that serves Brahmin style meals. We had lunch here. We had lip smacking Sambhar, Avial, Cabbage Thoran and Rasam. Taste: 9/10 Value for money: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambience: Clean and functional.
Lunch priced at Rs100 is sumptuous. Priced at Rs 100, it is value for the money. Tasty and served with a touch of homeliness makes it relishable. Other tiffin items are also tasty and moderately priced. Central location is an advantage.
If you are bored of south Indian dishes this place is a good option for you to change your taste buds. North Indian chats are available here. I liked the dosa also. Last time I tried chilli panner parota which is a new thing for me. Tasted good. Loved the sugar cane juice also.
I have eaten there at least 50 times so far from day 1 and there has been a steady decline in the cleanliness. The toilet and wash areas are filthy to say the least-the mirror dull with chalk and spots of water, the toilet and ventilator never been cleaned in five years.
The food is quite good-not great like Annalakshmi or Kapilavasthu. Service quality is variable.
May be the pioneer of palakkadan taste for food but the prices are too high for its food quality the only good thing is after 5pm you can taste panipuri bhel Puri kind of snacks from a hygienic sorroundings
Good place to have some yummy south Indian food. They have different dosa varieties. Evening will be the best time to visit. Parking is an issue though.
