Worsest hotel in Palakkad. I got very disappointed because of food. I ordered bhattura with channa that was good before. But when it came it's tooo oily. Thanks to them I didn't ate it. Hopeless food.
Serves authentic Kerala brahmin specialities like Kozhakattai, Elai Adai, Mor Appam (Panniyaram) Sevai, Bonda besides other vegetarian fares. The taste is authentic. The serving staff are just about OK. The people cleaning the tables do a very shoddy job. We have visited this place over 30 times, and the table cleaning has been bad at all the times. This place can do with a set of fresh employees, both serving and cleaning. The men manning the payment desk are very curt and unfriendly. They don't entertain complaints about unclean tables. Seem not bothered at all. This restaurant does not have parking facility for 4 wheelers.
Nice veg.restaurant in palakkad town. Tasty food. Traditional and modern veg food. Good ambiance. Sweets also available. Pure ghee sweets so tasty. Service also good. Parking space is the limitation.
Very Worst in service. Especially evening tiffens are not boiling completely. Sambar and chutney are like normal water.hotel management will concentrate only in counter sales. Rate is very high also.
One of the best vegetarian hotel in Palakkad town, try seva, masala dosa, ela ada and many more. Bike parking can be done there, car need to be parked 100 mts away on the same road where you will get space to park. Rates are affordable meals Rs. 60 and if you want payasam you neee to pay 20 Rs extra.
Today- Waited one hour for getting two Masala Dosa. After one hour I just enquired and then only I got reply that the item was out of stock. In that time my child started crying.
I am searching for a review star which having a value below 1.unfortunately it's not available, so I am giving one star for your esteemed organization.
I like this vegetarian Hotel.not a great ambience the food was good almost good like home cooked. However, don't expect a great ambience, parking is difficult. Basically, you have to find a parking elsewhere and walk
* Parking is the biggest challenge here try to come by 2 wheels * All digital payment available * Staff's are courteous * All items has own taste and unique style * One of the famous resturant in Palakkada to consider if you are looking for veg menu * Almost around the clock you see the crowd
This place has been a favourite of mine since childhood. The seva has been a consistent favourite, though the quality has dipped off-late. It's still probably the best place in Palakkad for sweets and savouries. The ela ada and jalebi have always been consistently good.
Good vegetarian hotel in the town. Breakfast and lunch is good in taste with satisfied quantity but the evening meal is not upto the same standard. Food should be hot served
One of the oldest, vintage vegetarian restaurants in Palakkad (my parents have been dining there since the '80s!) and serves very good vegetarian dishes to this day. Service is good and the old-timer waiters take care of the customers without showing the slightest of attitude.
The unniappam is pretty famous among the sweets sold here. But what I hate about this place is the washrooms - there are no commodes or water closets. For both the men's and women's toilets.
Been visting this place ever since I can remember. One of the very few places which haven't watered down the taste and quality of food as years pass and been consitently able to maintain the same. The food is always hot and fresh. Only issue is the lack of proper hygiene. The tables and chairs are often dirty and the cleaning is not done properly. Otherwise one of the best places in Palakkad if one wants to explore the local cuisine.
Oo wowww super vegitarian hotel in Palakkad. All items are very tasty & healthy. Hariharaputhra ladoo & other sweet items are very famous. All items are make in ghee.sadhya is available here.super lunch.
Worst parotta. Dosa and uthappam was very sour. Never give what we ask for. Being a traditional hotel, we had good memories from it. Sad to see they are digging their own hole. The management seriously need to check the quality of food before it is too late.
Best vegetarian hotel near Palakkad Town railway station, value for money, authentic brahmin kitchen, taste you will relish for longer, I am a regular here
Famous authentic traditional vegetarian restaurant in Palakkad. You will feel traditional tamil-kerala style snacks and food from here. It is crowded most of the time and you cannot really enjoy and eat the food due to crowd! Ambience is is great if you like the ambience of old traditional Kerala style restaurants. Snacks and bakery items are famous among Palakkad foodies.
Had masala dosa and tea from here. Even though it takes time to prepare dosa, it is not that hot as expected. That is little disappointed to me. Recently they started home delivery of food to acquire more customers and that is a welcome move from the management. All waiters are senior people and they are friendly to the customers. I like the attitude of a waiter who served us the food.
Overall an above average food experience from this famous hariharaputra!
This place is well known for pure vegetarian meals. My rating for this place was higher than this, its disappointing for me to rate two as i use to visit this place whenever i am here in palakkad, but today we had meals from here and the taste was not good.
One of the oldest and finest hotels in Palakkad and pure vegetarian hotel. Sweets are very much good and it's delicious. Hotel food is also good but there's no parking area and too crowded all the time
Authentic vegetarian restaurant. This restaurant is one of the oldest authentic vegetarian restaurant in the town.
Food, be it tiffin or meals, it has a unique taste and is maintained all along. Sweets are very tasty and mostly made of ghee. Take away services are also available, with seperate counter.
Restaurant is located in a very ideal location. However parking 4 wheelers is not possible in the busy road outside nor inside the restaurant. Thats the only disadvantage.
Overall a very good experience for vegetarian foodies.
Pros: Food tastes great. Amazing poriyal, olan, aviyal, rasam, sambar. Cons: The number of people available for service are little. And the available people sometimes throw an attitude if you ask for something. I had to ask for poriyal like 5 times? And I never got it. The attitude if the servers could be better.
Very good brahmin hotel, very tasty food, reasonable price, nicely upgraded to a modern style, but open table no seperation between tables, families may feel uncomfortable with this.
A very old vegetarian joint in Palakkad, it's in the heart of the city. Go there by 11AM you will get fresh Mysore-pa (traditional south Indian sweet). They are really amazing
Mind blowing. Taste, behavior and well respecting staffs. Very very good. Changing 5 to 4 star as its observed the staff is struggling to manage the customers, which should be resolved immediately otherwise customers may feel irritated.
This hotel delivers one of the tastiest vegetarian food for the last many years in palakkad. Once in palakkad never miss this beauty tasty little hotel.
Super Special Meals in afternoon. Smiling waiters are ever ready to serve you with 4 types Koottu Kari, Sambar, Pulissery, Rasam, Curd, Payasam, Unlimited Rice and Pappads with 2 spicy pickles. Good crowd for Lunch, so you may have to wait.
The service is quite fast and food is consistently of a good level of quality. The parking service is a bit difficult and can be quite bad during rush hours. All in all a good place to have a meal.
