If you are visiting Parumala or Mannar you can go to Sudarshana Hotel. Very good and tasty food available here. Both breakfast and lunch available. It’s a village hotel. Not hi-fi. But food is original. Especially beef curry. You can get both dining and parcel and parking is also available. Visit once.

A small village hotel. It offers lunch at 50/- Rs.per plate. We would rather say this a 'Tea shop' because of its ambience and location. With a small dining place, cash counter which accepts only cash and glass made almirah to display snacks this place makes us nostalgic. Taste of the food is average and the attitude of the owner at cash counter is below average. Also, they don't consider placing a Price chart too.

Its rather surprising that the price of meals havent changed even after two years. They charge you Rs 55/-for meals (enough for two people) and enough curries and thoran. They have UPI scan codes to make hassle free cashless payments.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If only there was a 6 star rating, I would have been grateful. Taste & delivery like nothing you have seen in a local hotel. Unknown to outsiders due to the remote location. Feeds Around 300 people a day. Do visit when you pass hereby.
