Charged 15 for tea, 15 for banana fry, 15 for porotta. This is exploiting the customers on the highway. High price and average quality

Had coffee and chips while travelling. Nice coffee. Chips was also fresh and tasty.
Visited couple of times. Everytime we went the service was good and got nice coffee.

Banana chips and jack fruit chips are very tasty. Good service. Parking spaces are available.

Tea was especially good and refreshing for a long time drive. Snacks offered were also reasonably good. Worth for the money. If you are passing through this route very well you can pull over here for refreshment

Hotel Toll Gate Hot Chips is easily visible from the toll both post, which providing a large space for parking and resting place for the travellers. As the name indicate this is famous for chips, we will get the hot live chips 24hr or round the clock. This space have restaurant with both veg and non veg dishes, which will function only in the normal working hours, for the midnight or late night travellers they are providing a café option which will function round the clock. One of the main highlighted thing is, it proving the better restrooms for both gents and ladies separately. You will also get fruits like watermelon, orange, apple, pineapple which will be depends on the season of respective items.
Since it very close to toll booth it will be visible for everyone who passes through there, it have sufficient parking in front of the hotel even it accommodate heavy vehicles also.
In the Thrissur Palakkad stretch this is providing a better relief for travellers, especially night travellers, most of them use this hotel as a pit stop to avoid single stretch driving as well as the sleep problems and obviously for the natures call. Drink a Tea and Keep going.

A decent place to stop for a refreshment during Highway journey. The restrooms are clean and maintained well. The chips and halwa that's sold outside the hotel is bit expensive compared with other shops. The chips are made with coconut oil.

Perfect Kerala style. I've tasted a few and they are all good. Brown banana chips. I don't know the proper name. That's very nice

Visited for lunch. The lunch was good. Serves Kerala meals with Sambar/meen curry and 2/3 subjis.

One of the best restaurants I encountered while I was travelling to Bangalore. The restaurant is located within a large compound along with a bakery and a nice little tea shop in front of it.

There is ample space for parking and is quite popular for travellers and tourist buses. The restaurant served some hot and delicious food items even though we reached the hotel really late during the night.

The bakery offered a huge variety of items to choose from. The restaurant also had a live chips making setup that offered some really hot and delicious chips.

I had a good time at the restaurant and I would recommend everyone to give it a try. It would be definitely worth giving it a shot.

Worst food. Very high price. Cheap hotel. Pepper chicken full 600rs. Please don't go there. I am going to complaint about this.

Taste is good and dont know why they are keeping rate high, though they get bananas huge in number in their place, rate is equal to coimbatore.
