Ambience was awesome, good service, nice location and affordable price. Good facility and nice food. All the staffs was good behaviour.

Room is very good and budget friendly. There is no restaurant in the hotel that is the only issue

Just a hotel. No meaning of using the word Heritage. Blanket and towel facility must be improved. Newly constructed but poor service.

The place was OK and staff was friendly. My only concern was around the security. The rooms at the back row had large sliding windows and accessible easily from the mud walls. There was no light there and not visible to the security staff.

Hotel sapphire hotel high rate for food and not value for money. Better. Vist any other hotel

Room: I booked a premium room with balcony for 2520, the room was ok. Washroom and room were clean. There's very low natural light in the room. I had to switch on light at day time also.
Service: Service and hospitality of the hotel is pathetic. At the reception the guy was so cold, it seems he didn't want to see us there. No assistance for baggage. They don't have hand towels and the bath towel they provided was very dirty. I've attached the photos. The thin blanket they provided had hole in it. EVEN IRCTC PROVIDE BETTER BEDDING THAN THEM.

Restaurant: Arabian Grill restaurant is there at the ground floor. As a vegetarian I couldn't find any option, but they have plenty options for non veg. The beverages are good though. For breakfast also they have only Dosa for vegetarians. If you're ordering something as room service, you have to make payment at time of receiving order instead of check out.
Overall: If you REALLY want a hotel near Idukki dam, you can come here and book the basic room for 1000rs. Don't keep any other expectations. I suggest to totally avoid this place.

I visit the restaurent in this hotel atleast thrice a month. The cuisines offered are chinese, native, arabic etc. The food is delicious and the serving is much appreciable. Must visit restaurnt in cheruthoni

It was an excellent experience we ever had in our travel. It was such a gorgeous stay. The igloo has warm and grateful service from the staff. They were very welcoming & very much concerned about guest and it helped us to enjoy a warm and beautiful stay over there.
The rooms are well maintained and available in reasonable prices.

We called directly and booked their budget double room. The room was small but clean especially the wash room. Would recommend calling them and booking directly as the rates online are higher. They have enough parking space and also a good restaurant.

It looks good and beautifully constructed especially you have and awesome illuminated view during night. I have not been to the rooms but only to the restaurant twice. Its clean and new but you cant expect a class restaurant. Its just a normal restaurant just meant for the normal regular customers. The service is just normal and what would i say it has the ambiance but exactly same with every other normal simple restaurant we see in kerala at the roadsides of every small town.

The place is very pleasant environment with scenic view. Rooms are clean and the staffs are very friendly. You will love the place.

any class of guests. Daily house keeping is superb. Personal attention by the top management is commentable.

Wonderful stay i ever had at a reasonable rate, I I spend in buddy rooms with my friends where they have a buddy room which can hold a group of friends and even a large family can be holded in that room. Overall a great experience

Rooms are perfectly ok with space, but the mattress are really hard and annoying. The door locks are messy sometimes. Need to fix with upgraded or classy door locks and mattresses.

A great stop before you reach the crowded cheruthoni town if you are planning for a dam top visit.

This is on the neriamangalam painavu road and a half a km before reaching cheruthoni town

I will recomend to go an extra distance to use its facilities even if you are come from kattappana or othet directions to make your family feel comfortable before the dam visit or sight seeing

There is a department store nearby to replenish your inventory of food and beverages.

Especially if you are travelling with family. Use this spot for a coffee or lunch stop.and wasroom break before you go to the dam.

Rooms here are of good quality with a good range of prices.

They have a buddy room to take 8 pax. Decent quality beds not a dormitory bunker bed. Very good quality. Down side is this room has only one washroom.

Also two large bedded room to take 4 pax.

And then Single and double rooms also

Surprised and happy to see this quality in an otherwise shy town where accomodation is never even thought of.

Decent accomodations upgrades a day time visit town to stay destinations.

The adjoining restaurant has good menu and variety to make each person in the family happy.

Decent parking space.
Well kept washrooms. (less in number so a bus load will be too much. Plan a queue)

Well, the name of this hotel is deceiving, it is not a resort and there is no heritage element I can see over there. It's an average hotel with a decent restaurant. I got the booking through makemytrip and booked a non-ac room for 1300/-rs.

Since its monsoon season I thought of booking a non-AC room which was wrong decision in Igloo. If you close the window, then there is no air circulation and if you open the window then all the kitchen smell will enter your room. I lost my sleep, my bad I could have booked an AC room.

Things I didn't like are they didn't provide a bath towel for me and while checking receptionist he said the towels are not dry which is an unacceptable statement. Also, the bed sheet and pillow cover have got stains on them which looks nasty. The service boys stays there until you pay them tip even if you are not interested.

So, Igloo is for you if you are looking for a budget stay and don't expect much on facilities. The location is excellent if you are visiting Idukki Dam and nearby places.

Edit: I just got a call from Igloo and they agreed to correct the flaws which occurred during my stay. Hope you guys will keep your word. Though I put three stars I will stay in Igloo once again to experience the difference they committed. Thank you for the prompt response Igloo

Ambience stay with a very affordable rate, where they got a restaurant with ambience and tasty food, the behavior of staff is most welcoming, they are stick to our needs and so caring, this is most suggested resort from my part.

A group of friends can take buddy room which will be so fun with our buddies. The restaurant which is located in the ground floor is so good and affordable.

Close to city but they got a silent ambient stay and everyone must try their Honey Glased chicken and thanks to the chef for that!

Had a lovely stay here with very neat n clean rooms.very courteous staff and amazing food as well.will come back later for sure

It is a neat and clean, well maintained hotel. Service was great. The food at the restaurant was affordable and tasty. We took a suite room which had a bathtub as well. There is room service and an elevator as well. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Cheruthoni town. The tariff is reasonable.
