I wondered how many places in India you could get such a great breakfast for this amount of money.
The breakfast price is 349 rupees, and the advantage is that tea and coffee are refilled for free before noon.
Eggs Benedict was great except for the fact that the eggs were overcooked, which was a bit disappointing. Above all, the ciabatta. The bread was like the first proper ciabatta I've ever tasted in India.
When I saw the pancakes served at the table next to me, they were so good that I regretted coming on the last day.
First of all, because it is so popular, it is slow overall.
I think you have to take that into account and it won't be too slow if there are a few people.
The atmosphere is nice, so it's a good idea to ask for a drink first and wait slowly while waiting.

The food is absolutely amazing! The quality-price is very fair and the portions are big. The atmosphere is lovely and peaceful. The service is good. It was our favourite place in Varkala.

It's a very popular place near varkala cliff. They offer a good range of continental items in their menu. The owner is also a friendly person. Another interesting thing about the cafe is their inclusiveness. The cafe is also pet friendly. Definitely a must visit place.

Inda Cafe was my first go to cafe preference during my visit to Varkala. However, I had not so good experience as the waiter (Ajit as far as I remember) taking my order was so rude for some reason. We asked him “What would a pide look like” to which he smirked and replied saying “you don’t know what’s a pide eh? ”. The way he was addressing our order was not professional and polite. He mentioned that they prepare all orders on the basis of first come first serve. Even though our order was placed before the others sitting around us, he delayed our order for so long. This was a total buzz off as we waited for our food for so long while others who had come after us had already paid and left.
The vibes are good at this place but this waiter should definitely change his attitude and he can be a bit more polite:)

If you come to varkala do not miss this place a visit. Brilliant ambience, yummy food and beautiful presentation. Its totally worth the hype.

Very tasty food but the size of the dishes is not justifying the high price.
We took 2 different dishes thet were very good but both of them were very small and we were not even close to be full.

This review is a very delayed review due to personal reasons but I still wanted to give my experience of the cafe. Me and my group of friends went to Inda cafe on 11 June 2023 and honestly the cafe disappointed us in every way possible.
We reached there at 6: 30 pm and decuded to get variour drinks first.

Service:
The waiter couldn't just write down the list of drinks we ordered even after we repeated it 3-4 times, he still managed to miss one drink out.
We still gave the benefit of doubt thinking he'd be a new guy in work and language barrier reasons but when it was time to order food, we asked for pasta as pizza wasn't available at the moment.
This guy couldn't actually hear anything we ordered, I decided to point the pasta I wanted in the menu card.still he couldn't get it. After almost 5 mins he understands what we ordered and gives a smirk and leaves!

Food: Maybe because of all the reviews we saw we had quite the expectations but the food didnot match up to them.
The meatball pasta just tasted like a pasta in a ketchup.

The good thing would be the ambience and the various spots you can decide to sit and dine. It was a very beautiful property.

An awesome cafe at Varkala situated inside the Inda Hotel, which serves ek dum fresh food. The lettuce, tomatoes and other greens are of good quality and farm fresh. Being a hotelier I could see the freshness in their raw materials.

The dishes are delicious, service was prompt and cool, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Had their varieties of Omelettes, fruit platter, Pizza, juices, Mojitos and pastas. All were equally good. And it is a pet friendly cafe.

Editing the review after your response. I also had great experiences during my stay there. Just reviewing accordingly. I chose not to write huge paragraphs here. I had to wait hours for my order, also service was bad, no one came even after calling multiple times. Heard the same story from some others too. Hope you will take it as feedback and move on.

Undoubtedly the best food I've had on Varkala's North Cliff. Had brunch there. The food was so good. Ambience was decent, and the service was okayish.

Nothing crazy good, it’s eatable. Staff is nice the place is nice.
A bit weird that the appetizer was the last dish to be served.

This is the place where you immediately feel like at home. Great food, beautiful interior, lovely decorative details. I was fortunate to try seasonal mango menu, during mango season obviously;) Highly recommend this place to stop, have food, drinks, to chill, to work and hang out!

Taste, quality, quantity and ambience were all good. Just that for some of the dishes in breakfast menu are not worth the price of 350INR. If you're not staying at their hotel, best to eat somewhere else. (As you can't make use of unlimited tea/coffee)

Beautiful place with decent food and decent service. Very nice ambiance. Road leading to the place isn't great. Car Parking provided is a little far and is chargeable, but the locality has a good vibe making the walk enjoyable. There is scope for improvement in taste and quality of food. But probably the best you can get at Varkala at the moment.

A cosy cafe with pretty average food. Even the cold-coffe and peach icea tea we ordered was pathetic. All in all, not a recommended place comsideing Varkala has so many wonderful eataries.

Horrible service. We waited for 45 mins to get a table and then they said food not available. A spoiled evening.

We were excited to check this place as the menu looked good and the restaurant had good reviews and feedback from foreign travellers. However i was completely shocked and horrified when one of the staff members came to take the half empty purified bottle of water from our table, took a sip of water from it, then refilled it again from the water machine and then put it back on our table. I couldn’t believe that he had just done that without any hesitation in front of us. If you are the manager of that place please tell your employees that it is absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention the guy looked either sick or very hangover.

The atmosphere is perfect. It's away from the hustle bustle of the main road. You have to find the place. The hosts are cordial and friendly. Mostly tourist crowd frequent the joint. But the breakfast menu is really good. I had breakfast twice. The lunch and dinner menu is also nice, although i didn't try them.

Favourite place to eat in Varkala. I had a very specific diet to follow because of ayurveda treatments, so struggled with variety but this was my safe haven where I could eat most things on the menu. I recommend their bowls and they have a really good breakfast deal too. Quality fresh food and nice staff. Good ambience too.

I've missed my wallet while having my food there and realised it only on half way back I departed from there. The waiter returned it safely after I went there. Thanking him wholeheartedly ️

Don't expect Indian food here. We were misguided by online content about this Cafe about the food varieties and its price. Also it's located in a very small lane, far from the beach. Not worth visiting.

Very few veg options. Only pizza, burger and pasta available for dinner. We had a veg pizza which was really good, but the drinks served were not good. The ambiance and cleanliness was better than most places in varkala.

Recommended for those who have a taste for English food. Not recommended for those looking for Indian food. Overall the ambience and property is very good and photogenic

We went there to have lunch only. The service was satisfactory. The food, pizza was very tasty. We also ordered a pasta which was very disappointing. It did not taste good. The rates are overpriced. The overall ambience is good.

The cafe has 2 portions.one has better lighting and air circulation.the 2nd one not so much.overall feel of the place is different.bt can surely be improved to make it a much better experience

We sat down at 12, got our food at 2. The staff were shorthanded, they said it themselves. But the wait was worthwhile because the food tasted as amazing as it looked.

It is a highly priced place for the facilities offered. The only plus is that it is near North Cliff in Varkala. If you are not a foreigner, you may not get treated well by the staff. The morning breakfast is a positive. If in Varkala, do try breakfast in Inda Cafe.

Seafood Pizza was just top on list of items. Grill bowl - the salad I tried. And the banoffie pie is just delicious.

We ordered a bacon onion omelette with cold coffee. Also had a dessert which was amazing. Must try when you are in Varkala.

Great ambience and food. We ordered a pizza, fruits with ice cream, two salad bowls and a pineapple juice. Clean and tasty food, nothing unhealthy at all. Was really surprised to find food this good, couldn't find anything close even in Goa. Worth paying for the quality. Good service, we got a very quiet corner to ourselves. Next time if I visit varkala, I'll be eating only from this place.

Amazing food. I'd recommend their pancakes, cucumber lemonade, mint tea and seafood pizza. Out of all restos that I've been to in varkala, this offers the most consistent service. I reduced 1 star only because their menu is sort of stagnant from past. I wish they introduced new items in the menu.

More than the food, it's the chill vibe of the place that makes it great. The hosts are hospitable. The food is affordable and a good break from the regular south indian served around. Great place to just chill.

Visited the cafe for both lunch and dinner. Must visit for amazing Chicken Mushroom Pizza, Original salad bowl, Double Cheese Buff Burger and Banoffee Pie served in great ambience.

We chose to stay at Inda cafe based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. It was a beautiful stay with a cozy room, beautiful plants and very close to the beach. The food was great, but the vegan options were limited. We loved the pizza and breakfast pancakes. We requested for a car for travel and they quickly made arrangements. The rates are overpriced, and breakfast was not covered in the charges, but I would still recommend Inda as the room and the tasty food compensates for everything.

The place is a bit hard to find. Maybe that helped them remain open during covid. The pasta is homemade and perfect. We had carbonara and mushroom alfredo. We also had grill bowl, which was all fresh and perfect although the sauce was a bit too sweet.
The banoffe pie was perfection even though with no whipped cream topping. The coffee was soo good that we got it twice!
The ambience and the service were also highlights.

If you're a foodie then this one is Far better than cafe Italiano, I tried sandwitch and banana pancakes it was really good, and the service too.

The cafe is located in a beautiful property. But the food is less then "normal" good. The cafe is understaffed.

This is a perfect spot for delicious continental food, working online and breakfast all day long️

Very cozy and comfortable Cafe with lot of options for everyone and they also customize based on our needs. Very hospitable waiters and great food.

I would go back for the food.
On my first day I had lunch wherein I ordered a burger, which was good, nothing great about it, I felt that the patty could have done with a little more flavouring.
The next day I tried their pancakes with bacon for breakfast which was delightful, their Turkish coffee is good too. That night I tried their pizzas which were very good too.
Overall great experience with the food, the prices are reasonable too.
My only grouch would be the mosquitoes and the dust.
Would go back again for their food.

It's a must try cafe in Varkala - each and every item on their menu is lip smacking good. We tried the Salmon Benedict, Pizza, Turkish Eggs and Bacon and cheese omlette.

Location - Good but interior. Not cliff facing.
Ambiance - Excellent. Cozy and extremely comfortable.

Food - Everything was delicious and portions were good. We had Mushroom Alfredo and Masala Omlette breakfast combo and Pomodiro Specci Pizza. Food was top notch and left us craving for more.

Absolutely the best place to stay at Varkala. It has its own two restaurants and is quite famous among tourist in varkala. This place is run by extremely polite gentleman and two gentlewomen from Ukraine. I love their kindly nature and the way they treat their guest. I had a very pleasant stay at Inda house. Loved it.

I loved this place. It is very cosy and yah literally bohemian just like the rest of Varkala. But here you can find more greenery. It's close to nature. And, the main part is that, they serves the best breakfast in Varkala. I don't know about the other food, that might be tasty as well. But I visited this place for breakfast and I feel, if in Varkala, there is no other place better that InDa to have breakfast. They offer a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

Super tasty food. Each plate makes you think to order it once again. Be careful, can be addictive and hard to compare with other places nearby.

After waiting for some half an hour for my first order I was told they don't have the ingredients for it, so I ordered another thing and after more than 40 min got the wrong dish, and the place wasn't even half full, so I didn't get to actually try the food, one star goes for the service

I have been in India for over two months, spent a month in Goa and traveling for the other. This is the best pizza I have had in India. I had the mushroom olive pizza with onions added. Good quality cheese cooked to perfection. Nice bit of caramelization with too much carbonization. Good crust and dough. Nice tomato sauce, not overly sweet. Helpful friendly staff. Highly recommend.
