Jeevan Beach Resort

Welcome to the most pathetic hotel with great location.
The strategic location & accessibility is the only thing good about this hotel.
No hot water. Staff says hot water is available from 5-8AM. We worked up at 6 & had to chase the staff to switch on central geyser for one hour.
Power cut happens too often, A. C does not work, TV is broken, hot water kettle, glass & cups are missing.
The bathroom fixtures are rusted & the most funny thing room nos.are missing on the door.

The only thing working for this resort is the location. The rooms are outdated. Service is questionable. No running hot water all day. No basic necessities in the room like hanging hooks in bathroom, tv, hot water kettle etc.the buffet was not that great.

You should better your Restaurant (Cafe De Le Mar) services that are attached to your resort. Otherwise even if u have a resort in the middle of the ocean, people won't come to you.

The location of the resort is very nice and mind-blowing. Very pleased with the breakfast. We had tried the fresh fish during lunch from the Restaurant, which was spicy, testy, and nicely cooked. I really appreciate the Jeevan Beach Resort team members, who were very helpful and supportive.

I Reffered to my frnds to njoy their weekend in jeevan beach resort last mnth and they told it was nce xperince, suprb vibe and they njoyed lottttt.

Yes the place is excellent with phenomenal food and great service. Really good authentic kerala fish fry and fresh varieties of fish are available

Overall good but some issues regarding room services. Amazing location in front of Beach. Food quantity is very good

It is the worst hotel experience in my opinion.the tv doesn't work, room service isn't available, the rooms are not well maintained, the floor was sticky, the appliances were broken, the a.c remotes were not working properly and the behaviour of the staf were also not upto the mark and we didn't even get hot water in the morning.

I stayed here with family. Nice location.beautiful' sea view from room as well as from resort.nice food. If you live sea food.

Rooms and washroom were not clean and not well maintained. No lift available. 2 floors are there. To reach the resort, you would have to park your vehicle at Hotel Sea rock and then walk on foot for 400 m. Food was so so. Muddy and hot water coming out of the tap.

It's a lazy evening by the beach where you crack jokes and gossips with your friends with a glass of barley and some spicy food and you feel good. Food gets slightly late if you're ordering sides. Didn't find anyone by the pool, maybe because it was late evening or maybe many felt it really should be somewhere else as every visitor can see the pool. In case of ambience, can get better.

Totally fraud hotel. Take booking for Jeevan beach resort & shifted booking in below standard category hotels. Kovalam police Marge with this hotel. Liquor without lisence sell from this hotel. Kovalam police take lots of money for illigal activities in this hotel. I want to lauch a complaint against this hotel, but Kovalam police denied to accept my complaint.
Please avoid this hotel.

About resort- it's in really good location which is in front of kovalam beach, rooms are ok, balcony has nice view. And hot water Available at morning. Pool is ok for kids and non swimmers (upto 6f deep) over all for the price I paid it's good.

Now resturant- the quantity of the food not upto mark even the taste. It's okok.
In my experience just be careful while giving bill do cross check the items in list i ate there with my friends 3 times everytime they added extra items and at last I scolded them. They said it's by mistake.
About dishes you won't get all mentioned in menu over all 2 start for resturant and 4 stars for resort.

Old & Rusted, even the water from tap contains dirt and brown in colour. Pathetic experience.

Only tried the restaurant in the resort. Bad service. Food and drinks were good. And you can enjoy a nice view of the beach. Prices might be a bit on the high end, especially drinks (close to double the MRP).

Only good thing about hotel is the view form restaurant.
Owner is very rude, staff are irresponsible, no basic amenities

Budget friendly family resort. Rooms are good neat and clean. Balcony overlooking the beach is cherry on top! Definitely will stay here more than once

Spent one nights with friends. It was wonderful experience. The rooms were neat, tidy and spacious. Service and staff were very good.food was excellent and service too. But food little bit costly. They are having only beer but its also costly. Surely would like to come back. Next time need to select same room, as anyways we were spending more time on beach. Try if possible to get room no 401 and 402. If you coming in offseason price is less, if you are coming in season price may vary.

It's too bad. Washrooms are worst. Water is worst in bathroom. It's yellow & salty water. There is swimming pool only that's the good point.

Affordable beer parlour with a beautiful rooftop beach view, we were in the off season, most of the seafoods are not available at the time, still fine food and beers

Staff behaviour is good, as my experience I didn't get minimum facilities such as hand soap, electric cattle, as compare to price it will get 3 star. Rooms are clean but need some renovation. Front side room are good for enjoy the sea view,

We had pomfret in banana leaf and it was awesome, really awesome. Also ordered chilli paneer and veg manchurian and it was also good.

Awesome place to have Chilled Beers with Sea Food. Beverages are in reasonable price only. But the Sea food and other food items are bit expensive compare to other shops in Kovalam. But this price is ok when compare the ambiance and scenery from the hotel.

Highly recommended for seafood. Dinner menu includes fresh catch and relatively fast service. Pleasant atmosphere and scenic views of the beach and water. Reasonable prices and friendly staff make the package complete. Beer and wine also available.

Good location. Awesome view from the executive suite sea view room. Pocket friendly. Just on the beach. If you want to enjoy the sea n beach perfect stay. View from balcony

Not hygenic. Very bad staff. Donot ever stay here. Total waste of money. We have experienced very bad. No room service.

Its an beautiful beach resort right beside the sea attached with a restaurant cum Bar cafe. Its has beautiful scenic views from balcony's window and with a swimming pool at the middle. The staff service was but the only fish in the aquarium in reception was too lazy to move. The swimming pool timing were 9am to 6pm but you can ignore it aswell as the other rules mentioned. You can get a nice seafood dinner with a beach side view at night with a pint of beer at side (not necessary). Really enjoyed my 2 days stay at this place and hope to visit again in future.

I didn't stay here. We had a bad experience from their restaurant.took few of our foreign guests to the restaurant. Service was pathetic and the food was over salty. Rest rooms are not clean. We had search for another restaurant for drinks/food.although view is great, Will not recommended if you are looking for good dishes and service.

One of the worst. In service of food. If you have one hour in hand to wait for food please visit here.not only that. They will serve you half grilled food, cold tandoori dish and too much spicy noodles. So in short you will spend a lot of time and money but don't expect much. Ohh one example. 100 rs beer will cost you here 2.7 times.

Pls stay away from this property.last Thursday I booked 5 rooms in this property by phone (attend one Mr.anosh) he promised to arrange 5 sea front rooms. In that day I reached property by 11pm at night.once I reached there I realised to know that he given 5 rooms in the back side of their property without any view with horrible rooms. I asked about this he said that if u needed sea view rooms you should pay 3.5 k other wise you can stay here.finally I decided to quit the place ang take rooms near to this property (pappukutty beach resort) that night I passed thru such a pathetic situation coz I have been with my family (women’s and kids were there). Alert once you booking this property.they wil not keep their word.only bussiness

This resort restaurant has the most amazing sea views and can't fault their seafood menu.the grilled seafood platter and fried squid was good.

The location is really good. The suite room had a great view and a big terrace which had a really great view of the sea. They also have an indoor pool. Rooms were okay. A problem was that the resort lacked a proper parking space. People can use the nearby pay and park to park their cars but Ave to walk almost 200m from the pay and park though.

Worst Resort i have ever visited.
Please dont try this ever. It was a such a terrible experience we met. Very bad and worst service. Non friendly staffs and worst service. Only good to say is the location. Nothing more.
Adviced to have any other resorts to avoid financial loss

Seriously worst ever Hotel I've ever ever visited.
We forget the key in the room.
We climb from stairs to the balcony and open the door from back.
We fix the bolt also which came out while opening the door still they charged rs 300 for the bolt costing rs 2 only.
How unsophisticated lady oh my God
Firstly the hotel is so so cheap that we can't tell u n the behavior uffff.
I first posted the review immediately when I entered the room broken chairs n tables 1970's furniture.
She forced us to delete the review at that time.
The bathrooms hv broken bolt nvr repaired u can't lock yourself properly in the washroom.
There is a review of one 45 year old lady facing the same problem she herself unlock her room three months back the same happened with us also in 3 months they hadn't arranged extra key.
They don't hv GST no.even otherwise they give us the receipt with gst no. Or might they intentionally not giving the receipt with gst no.because they know they are wrong. It is 2 star govt approved hotel. Govt should degrade this.
We will make sure your licence will b cancelled.

That was the point
300 is not the charge of a bolt of Rs2 by the way which was repaired by us not by you.
I think you need to learn rules n regulations.
We know better.

They serve chilled beer. Food is strictly average. The beef ulathiyathu wasn’t very kerala like. The chicken fried was average and French fries was different from what’s usual, but tasted fine. They were short of staff on the day I visited, so service was iffy. Pricing is fine.

This star is only for location on beach, elsewise
Other points are worst as below.
1) the rooms are not up to the mark in interior and cleanliness.
2) water coming from tap of bathroom is yellow (dirty) with which no one can bath.
3) AC remote is not working at all.
4) food they are offering are from other planet.
5) the restaurant person don’t know paneer tikka masala, sezwan fried rice, Hakka noodles and many more.
6) we found dead lizards in cupboard.
7) tea and coffee cattle is not there as per their policy which is pathetic.

Hotel need to work on their services very seriously.
Till the time we will never recommend this hotel to others.
