Jeff Biriyani Trivandrum

Fed up with usual malabari kaima rice biriyani and tried this. A different flavour basmati rice biriyani. I really liked it.defenetly will try the mutton biriyani also.

If you are a biriyani lover Jeff biriyani is something really good. They have a different taste n recipe which is such a delight to have.

If you want to try out a very different tasty biriyani, you can't go wrong with this place. Please do try the apricot mutton biriyani and the afghan chicken, both are truly heavenly. The food is not intended to be burn your mouth spicy, rather it is a flavourful blend of spices and aromatics that is mild but an explosion of flavour on your pallet.

I came to Jeff biriyani with a lot of expectations but, my experience was worst
There is no back-up for electricity there, as I go there a power failure occurred and it's so hot inside and that was a bad experience for me
I ordered a chicken biriyani and it's only taste like an average biriyani and it's over priced also

My first visit to Jeff's Biriyani and to say the least "Mouth watering". Handpicked dishes and every dish is delicious. Butter chicken biryani and Apricot mutton biryani along with Afgani chicken is over the top. Food lovers paradise?

With lot of enthusiasm my 2 friends and i visited jeff biriyani centre near to aries multiplex. We were late to experience the whole menu as it was 2 30 in the noon and only option left was beef biriyani. I had visited jeff biriyani in kochi 3 years ago and i expected the same quality and taste.but unfortunately i was so disappointed. Eventhough Rice was enough for a person, the beef was mostly with bone and the portion was less. 200 rs was not a big deal if the taste was so outstanding.my friends also felt the same. Any way i wish to try their other options on a convenient day.
In addition to this, they dont have their own toilet facility which is not bad but it might affect the people who are concerned. They handed me a key to the toilet in the upper floor to use when i asked about toilet facility and i refused.

I went to try Apricot mutton biriyani but it wasn't available. So tried beef biriyani which was average but beef pieces were fine cooked and the rice was also good but lacked the flavour. The taste was not upto my expectations even though it was decent. Comparing the price it wasn't worth it. Also i tried afgani chicken which was good and if you don't like the flavour of coriander leaf then i wont recommend as it has a highlighted coriander flavour then found Bee hive Russian medovik honey cakes classic and pistachio and was tempted so.classic has a caramel taste and pistachios was nothing interesting except the colour. It was smooth and had a less sweet compared to fresh cream cakes. Definitely you have to try classic honey cake. With all this i got a bill of 720 Panam potte taste varatte!

It’s same like Karachi durbar biryani.mutton and beef were gud but chicken need to improve.pls include the authentic raita (mint sauce with yogurt).

Biriyani was good and tried their Afgani chicken. That curry was not too tasty as expected. Don't go there with over expectation and over hype in youtube

The avacado mutton biriyani is a must try. It's definitely out of the spicy and flavoured biriyani range, as here the flavours are more subtle. The rice, meet and masala was good. Taste of avacodo in biriyani was a little out of place for me, but it's not overpowering the whole Jeff biriyani experience.

Below average food. Afghani Chicken was only an average taste. Mutton Biriyani was really below average. It taste oily, there isn't even the aroma of mutton. Quality and quantity of mutton biriyani is also poor with respect to the rate. There isn't any resemblance to Yemeni Flavour at all, or there isn't any flavour. The biriyani is too costly and not worth it. I do not recommend this outlet. What kind of salad are they providing as side dish for this rate. Really disappointed. But the dates pickle was good enough, it stands out other dishes.

Chennaities, don't even try this on guessing this like chennai briyani's, this is completely out of that chennai trend. I know kerala pupils like this briyanis and met their expectations. The white pasted chicken was very juicy and fantstic in taste.

The best biryani (and afghan chicken) I ever had in trivandrum. Beef biryani is too yummy, soft and delicious. A must try in trivandrum.

Its the same taste like bengali restaurant biriyani which we get from Dubai or Qatar. Its not authentic yemeni taste. Kerala style is far superior.

Quantity serving is less as compared to ernakulam outlets due to the requests from customer that they cant have it fully and are forced to waste it. For anyone who feels like Quantity is less, feel free to ask for more rice

Jeff biriyani Trivandrum is an awesome place. Went here with buddies, had some yummy chicken biryani.loved it

Overall good. But quality does n't match that of jeff cochin. Ordering via swiggy is only through genie. Mutton biriyani is good

Afgani chicken was too amazing.and I highly recommend it to you. Then about chicken biriyaani. It's different from all other biriyanis that I had. One of the best biriyani in my life. Too worth for the money. Good portion of rice and 2-3 pieces well cooked chicken. ️ Must try biriyani spot in Trivandrum.

Good, if you try something new from the typical trivandrum style, its the best option. Afgan chicken is a must try item.

Biriyani didn't meet the expectations, but glad I tried the Yemeni flavour.

If you are a biryani lover this is a must try. Only limited menu. Best time to visit is weekends when they have their special mutton biryani.

Here you can enjoy a different Biriyani. The side dish Afghani Chicken prepared in Cashew pulp will give a heavenly feast.ofcourse its a different one.

It's sure a vareity taste. Don't have a biriyani experience like this before. But taste wise i feel it's ok. Not a awesome biriyani. Rice and meat was so soft. Some one try to experience a new taste of biriyani. Then highly recommended.

Went in at 3PM for biriyani, luckily they had beef biriyani. The meat is just juicy and delicious. Tried their signature Afghani chicken too. The gravy is creamy and yummy. The biriyani and the chicken went well together. The rice was good too. For dessert they had russian honey cake which is just the right amount of sweet.

They add 5% GST to the menu price.

I've tried their mutton biriyani. The biriyani is super tasty and the quantity & quality is worth the price. If you are a person who loves to try new tastes, this is a must try spot.

A very good biriyani restaurant. If you want chicken or mutton biriyani, definitely visit this place. They also serve good Afghani chicken curry. The price is also affordable at Rs. 200 for chicken biriyani, Rs. 320 for mutton biriyani and Rs. 240 for Afghan chicken curry. You will love the food.

Very good biriyani. Afghan chicken curry is a must. Location is nearby Aries Plus film theatre. Place have good parking facility as it is a part of a shopping complex. There would be good rush of people in the shop at most times, so plan accordingly.
The hotel is not visible from road side and it can make a confusion. So adding a banner/name board on the road side would let people know the location.

Honest review!
It’s nothing special. Taste is average. It’s filled with quality spices with loads of turmeric (exactly why it’s yellow inside). Biryani is made with high quality rice and moderately fresh chicken.

To be frank it’s nothing special in case of taste. But the food is of good quality.

A better alternative would be Trivandrum Azad Biryani which is better in every aspect

Despite being Covid and all, the mob here haven't reduced at all. The two times we called this place to know the availability, they were all sold-out.

What we ordered from here was Jeff Chicken Biriyani, Mutton Biriyani and Afgani Chicken.
Both biriyani's were decent but not upto the hype built. I liked the masala of chicken biryani more.

The Afgani chicken was a hit. It had a creamy texture and is made from nuts. The chicken was tender and juicy which I went crazy for.

The wonderful flavours of Yemen in Trivandrum. Totally in love with their Afghani chicken. Will definitely give 10/10 for Jeff flavours

The Afghani chicken was heaven.soft creamy tender chicken. The chicken biriyani was good.have to come earlier to get apricot mutton biriyani

They have an authentic taste mix for their biriyani which the city is not familiar with. Not as spicy as Kerala cuisine but do give the best combination of biriyani with their Afghani chicken. The meat is really cooked and the smoky flavour of the apricot mutton went well with the flavored rice.
