JMR LADIES HOSTEL

Stay is not worth the money you spend as the room are too small and untidy washrooms. Food is not that great too. All of a sudden they have increased the rent by 1500 claiming it’s GST! So all these years GST was not applicable?

I have stayed here for 1.5 years. Suddenly they stopped providing breakfast and lunch for 6: 30 am. They are saying that this is according to our rule. And not opening the kitchen door before 6: 45 am even if the food is ready. At the time of admission they say that fud is ready before 6: 30am to everyone. If we have any complaints they say that look for other hostels and leave from there. Rooms are very small and do not providing proper cleaning. All the staffs are rude. I didn't get such an experience from any hostel staffs. They are treating us like we are staying without paying money.

The worst experience in my life. The hostel warden is very cunning and rude. They don't return the caution deposit after vacate that we pay first at the time of joining. Also there is no hygiene in that hostel. Food is not worth.

Read the agreement paper well before signing. They won't say some things written in there. Food is okay.

Food is decent, mainly hygienic. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hostel also offers a variety of amenities, including laundry facilities (washing, huge drying area and ironing) and a common area where you can socialize with other guests. I would highly recommend this girls' hostel to anyone looking for a convenient, affordable, and welcoming place to stay.

This one is the worst hostel I have ever experienced.
Food is too bad & there is no ventilations in the room. Is there any ladies hostel in kochi, serving porridge (kanji) as a dinner and bread as breakfast?
First they said that they will provide free wifi, but actually wifi is only available at common area's.
They are only providing one set of small table and chair in a double shared room, which is not suitable for students as well as working womens.
In the beginning they doesn't properly inform their rules correctly. After when you pay the security deposit they will switch their rules and regulations instantly. First they said that they will return our security deposit after 2 months.then after 2 months they switch this time period to 3 months and they will not return your deposit amount completly and compete with fake arguments.
You can find small worms near washing areas.
They say that you can use the gym for free. But actually the equipments are not in condition.
Some of the single shared rooms are located near by common corridor. Windows of these rooms are open to the corridors.and these rooms are too congested. People who choose these rooms have to pay 9000 rs. It's not worth it with the facility provided.
People who choose rooms with balcony have to pay more amount than other double shared rooms. But you have restriction to use your own balcony.
They will not permit your father, brother or other male relatives at the time of joining. They say that its illegal. But then you can see male staffs are walking and working inside the hostel over common areas like lift, corridor without female warden or others who working in hostel.
Exhaust fans in the toilets are not in working condition.
The things that are written over the website or in manuel or the verbal information they provide at the time of joining are fake and totally different from the reality.
THE ONLY THING THEY NEED IS MONEY

Actually they don't deserve for the one star itself. Such a worst hostel I've ever seen.
Food is too bad & rooms are not properly cleaned & no ventilation in the room. No wifi, No cctv. The things that are written in their site is exactly different from what we have there. The only thing they want is money. The attitude of warden is very bad & staffs too. They always switch their decisions & won't have a proper one. Same with the director of this hostel. So kindly don't prefer this hostel.
