Unique collections and friendly staff. Mr Kamil and Mr Kabeer were very much helpful with the shopping. Though my purchase was over in 15 minutes, the billing part took around 1& 1/2 hours … might be due to inexperience of billing staff…

This is my first Purchase with Joyalukkas. I ordered a Pair of stud for myself. The Quality is superb and it is Perfect for Daily wear. Very much happy to say about your car parking. I ever seen such a wide and comfort parking.also we can feel fresh and safe in this area. I think it's the widest parking n the city.

Ornaments which my wife had bought for our marriage was broken on the first instance while wearing for the marriage. And later as we reached the showroom to return the damaged jewellery we had the worst experience of complaint redressal from the salesman. They on the other hand were blaming us for not properly handing the jewellery. Facing such sort of poor response and blames from such a reputed firm made us feel worse.

Last Sunday I buy 1 necklace and due to some personal reason I plan to change that necklace and want to buy bangles (within one week), they says due to corona they will not take the product back.

They are compelling customers for donate money to charity of their own charity works.it is only for tax reduction.but their service was awesome and the staffs tooo.as the price of gold increasing they are giving us deduction in making charge and thus we get gold in an affordable price that was great.

I bought a pair of anklets today from this joy alukkas branch, East Fort Trivandrum and here is my experience.
Selection wise it was just ok. I searched in baby's jewellery section there were not many beautiful pieces but quite a decent collection of the usual designs.
The anklet which we selected had to be shortened to match our size requirement which I think they were not very happy with.
Weight of the jewellery - 6.950 gm and today's gold rate was given as Rs. 4690.
After finalizing the jewellery the sales man did some calculations and assured me a discount of around Rs. 1500 and then he wrote on a white paper the final amount as Rs. 38300 or Rs. 38500 something and told me that he will roundoff the amount again and pay only Rs. 38000.
And I was dump enough to pay the amount right away without seeing the detailed bill. Then I collected the jewellery and bill  from the counter in a hurry and returned.
Now I have gone through the bill and all I could understand is that the final amount was Rs. 37907 which was rounded off to Rs. 38000.
Oh my God which means I dint get any discount or reduction instead I paid them extra money.
What was that 38300 amount the salesperson told me initially?
I feel so so sad, so so angry and feels cheated.
If anyone could understand further, kindly reply.
Tomorrow morning itself I'm planning to reach them for a solution. If something positive happens, I will definitely update it here.

Jan 3rd gold rate: Rs. 4690
Total gold value: Rs. 4690* 6.950 = Rs. 32595.50
Making charge: 12.91%
Making charge amount: 12.91% of Rs. 32595.50 = Rs. 4208.079
Total amount: Rs. 32595.50 + Rs. 4208.079 = Rs. 36803.579
CGST: Rs. 552.06
SGST: Rs. 552.06
Total amount including GST: Rs. 36803.579+ Rs. 552.06 + Rs. 552.06 = Rs. 37907.699

The amount I paid: Rs. 38000

Update: The salesperson has reached out to me and clarified that a Flood cess needs to be included along with the bill amount. Which clarifies my confusion on Rs. 92 and thereby the bill amount got tallied.
Also that the making charge was 14% tagged to the jewelry which they reduced to 12.91% as a discount and it is not mentioned in the bill. I'm not sure about it because it is not there in the bill or anywhere.
Well atleast now I have clarity on the amount I paid. Peace

Basically I don't have a habit of purchasing gold, but I had to accompany my relative's recently. The way we were welcomed by the staff was outstanding, and almost all of them were very helpful to clear our doubts.

Superb highly helpful staff.takes care not to waste our time. So many new and beautiful designs are available.which is their speciality in Trivandrum.

I have purchased jewelry over here in madurai branch. I also opened gold chit. Good design, lot of varieties. Good respect. Car and bike parking. Near to madurai railway junction. Toilet facilities available. Here chit scheme is 11months. No Bonus paid. But at the maturity customer is allowed to purchase ornaments without VAT and makings charges. GST applicable.

Heard that the final price is little bit higher than other competitors. But the employees are really sweet, friendly and cool.
The billing process was slow.
Has nice collections of all ornaments.
Recommended for wedding purchases.

Spacious. Clean and very attractive. Customer care is excellent. Almost all fashions are available. Staff behaviour very good. Lavish parking space for customer vehicle.

New collections and wide variety of gold. Making charge is little cost but if you bargain they will reduce. Am really satisfied for designs and customer handling and management.

Nice experience.need to improve amenities.in ladies rest room the lock is not working. And rest room is kept out side the shop.

Very high making charges compared to other Jewelries in the city. Also felt staffs are not interested in showing what customer needs. Cant recommend to anyone.
