Jungle Palace Home stay

While booking have a clear and detailed talk with the host on Price, Rooms, Beds in each room. Because I lost money due incomplete information

The place was very good and clean, no doubt about it. You will enjoy the location.

Everything was great and hassle free about staying at this beautiful home stay. The room was large and well spacious and really well kept. Washroom was large as well. The hosts are an amazing set of people and made the stay very welcoming. The view from the place is awesome. Complimentary breakfast was simple plain idli/uttapam with local chutney and it felt truly homemade. They served breakfast early (at my request) and at the room. They even kept my small piece of luggage after checkout as I was doing some activity in Periyar Tiger Reserve. Would definitely prefer to stay here on a future visit.

I think, no othet hotel can beat it in terms of room sizes, cleanliness, and room service.

Great place to stay with a balcony with an amazing view on the park. Large clean rooms. We were unable to reserve ticket for the park online but the host of the homestay was very friendly and helped us getting the tickets for the park.

Went late at night aroung 8pm, owner charged it very reasonable, bathroom was very neat and spacious, room was big enough, morning view was good, overall stay was good and safe.

Wow.can't explain in a word. That was one of our best experience we had ever. Location is amazing. Hotel rooms were clean and superb. Toilets are vast and clean. Hot waters were really hot unlike other poor hotel cheats us. It has huge french doors with amazing view of the forest. Morning birds crimping that I loved most there. The owner was friendly. He couldn't make tea because of no milk due to faulty fridge and even the owner felt bad about it which was very pleasing. Highly recommended.please enjoy the stay. Hotel is located very close to periyar tiger reserve entry. You can walk to the entry. For the price you pay it is totally worth it. Owner is too good and rooms are very clean with all basic amenities. Best part is the view of jungle from the room which is awesome. You can just sit on your bed and enjoy the jungle.

One of the best home stays we stayed till now. Spacious and huge rooms, balcony and bathrooms. Perfect for family and backpackers. Very close to Periyar boating pickup point. Clean and perfectly designed for traveler. It has all necessary thing’s including extension board. Owner and his wife were always available to help and serve you. Tea was just perfect. Food is not available but you can use kitchen. View of the jungle from balcony is just awesome. Budget homestay. Parking available.

The rooms are good and very large. Get enough space to relax. It is about 200 meters from periyar lake. The behaviour of the owner is very good.

The Host & his family is Super Nice & Friendly. Felt like staying at a Close Relatives house.
Our host as per my booking request, Gave us the Backside Room with the Best View of The Jungle & Mountains. Spotted a lot of Wildlife in the Evening from our Balcony.

Best homestay in Kumily. Spacious rooms, bathroom and balconies.
Also the best part, it’s impeccably clean. Everything in the room and the homestay itself was very clean and maintained. Wonderful view of the national park from the balcony. We were able to spot deers, porcupines, bison etc from the balcony.

Location is inside the city limits and car parking is limited price is very reasonable and for food lot of restaurants are there in walkable proximity

Rooms were very clean. Location wise excellent. Host went above and beyond to keep us satisfied and happy. But one thing I hoped that view would be amazing and personal balcony which isn't there in my case

The home stay is at a very good location. You will love the view from the balcony. The service and the food was brilliant. The rooms were also very good. 5 star from my side.

A wonderful place to stay at Thekkady, huge room spic and span bathroom. After our long drive settling in the room had a very positive vibe to relax and down. Worth the money. Very helpful and adjusting for our convenience. Rajesh is a very helpful man and a positive vibe man. In balcony we see the forest view and the hills view. We see baison, Malabar squirrel, lots of birds and butterflies. Don't forget to ask them for a Cup of coffee.

Our family group with 24 members stayed here in 5 rooms. We had an excellent time there. We were provided with extra beds. The host Mr. Rajesh was very helpful from the time we booked rooms. Nice view from the room. Spacious rooms and very clean bathrooms. Space for families to spend time outside the rooms too. Overall excellent experience.
