Even after buying gold for 40k they gave cheap gifts
Selections were very less when compared to other jewelry in kottayam. Service was also not up-to mark

Exchanged diamond ring. Professional, polite and efficient service provided. Collection could be better, though, in terms of variety. Happy with service, especially Pravin for his thoughtful presence. Surely recommend.

The worst jewellery shop i have ever seen. Pls don't shop from there. My humble request to all as i had a painful experience. They give false promises when we buy from their shop.

The executive was very friendly and gave us the necessary instructions and showed us enough models and gave us a discount.

The selection was not good as compared to other Jewellers in Kottayam like Josco, Bhima etc. Also in my experience, the making charges are also on the higher side compared to other Jewellers. When I asked them about the high rates of making charges, they told its some rare collection which needs more effort and it takes too much time of Gold Smith to made it all.and the same time he told the gold stud which I purchased was made in mould. I think they don't know how actually it was made. To convince the customer on making charges, they say what they feel like when we ask them about making charges. Even though the staff is also least bothered whether we purchase thing or not. I don't I was not treated properly because I bought a small stud and the value was to low.

Very dissatisfied as I went to pick earing but didn't get any good pair. Very poor selection for earings.

The wait times that they put a customer through is the Achilles heel at this outlet. Decent selection of wares, can have more designs ordered.

We were very disappointed with the collections they had during our visit. We went to purchase earrings and checked all varieties in gold and diamonds but most of the items were old fashioned. So we left and went to another jeweler.

Large collection of gold and diamond ornaments. Variety of designs. Courteous staff, easy to access and ample parking place.

Collections are comparitively less and its time to change their jewellery show boxes. Since we reached in an evenning time salesman was not that much enthusiastic to show us the prescribed item.

Bad experience the staffs deal their customers basic on the status if we visit the the jewellery in a poorlook they never mind today I went shop and I go back didn't purchase any gold

The building is near the YMCA Complex. It's pretty spacious and there is parking. Only thing is you will have to encounter heavy traffic on the way to reach the place. And then it opens to a one way, so to certain areas, the travel can take some time.

Went to kalyan jewelers for making a missing screw for my mothers ear ring (uncut diamond) which i bought 3 years before from their store itself, Same time they asked for orginal certificate along with the ear ring and send to Mumbai for making the screw, While returning the certificate was missing, And the executive said he will check and call me within 2 days.its been more than one month no call recieved yet.

Very pricey jewelery. I honestly don't think I'll buy from here again. I'm not sure if it's only my experience but compared to other shops like Bhima, I feel the making charges here are a lot more. Because of COVID, they said they had restrictions on what could be done. Normally they serve tea/coffe to customers in Jewelery shops. This was not the case with Kalyan. The service just felt like they were just aiming for maximum sales and not to meet the needs of the customers. The printer was broken when I came to collect my wedding rings and they made us wait 30 mins because of this. It's like these guys have no value for your time. They ended emailing me the bill instead.

Over all ok but some staffs are not interested in sale.they all are looking for girls around the shop and road side.most of staff's are mouthlooker's.how can a customer go there with girls?

Gold is good. But these people tries to cheat. They will try to make you purchase gold with high making charge or to purchase diamond especially when gold price is low. If you try to replace old gold or coin with new one they will put you in some schemes to make you purchase from them for the next time. And they will say they give some amount of money in the scheme which is actually your money. They thinks customers are fools. Very bad.

Nice dealings from staff. Overall, I had a good experience from here. My family is also very happy with them. Whenever we purchase gold, our first preference is Kalyan.

In Kottayam as compared to other jewelrys the making charge of gold is higher. The verities & selections of models are superb. The making charge of gold is 18% (After discount from the floor manager)

Good customer service. Parking available. There is an exclusive section for diamonds. There is a wide variety of every jewellery items. The Muhurat collection is mindblowing. They provide assurance certificate for every item especially for diamond jewellery.

The staff working there are the friendliest there can be. Its not just the wide variety of gold or diamond collections, its more than that, the experience that make you want to go back again when you think of gold/diamond jewellery.
Ample parking space, Friendly staff, Wide variety of Gold and Diamond ornaments, and ofcourse the low making charge, is what makes this jeweller one of the very best in Kottayam.

Buying gold will always be a pleasant experience. But you will come to know how jewellers appreciate their own gold, when you try to sell it back to them. Kalyan will not offer you a good price on their own gold even if it has Bis hallmarks and we produce original bills. There are are other jewellers in Kottayam who offer better pricing on BIS gold. So I switched from Kalyan once and forever.

Kalyan Jewelers is one of the big Jewelry showroom located at the prime area (near YMCA) at Kottayam town. The building complex has sufficient car parking facility here.

I felt a lack of genuinety, while purchasing from here, I have actually exchanged a diamond ring and bought an ear ring, the salesman first said I'll get 2700 Rs back, then they said if I want it as money I'll get only less than 2000 (I don't remember the amount correctly) he also added if you can give that money as advance and purchase gold later I can avail full 2700 back so obviously I went for that option, then he added me into gold purchase scheme, in which I can pay a sum every month and purchase gold later, then he instantly added a 300 Rs out of nowhere and made my sum 3000.
I really felt a lack of confidence while shopping from here, I felt like being fooled.

Customer friendly dealings. Ornaments available in different fashions. VA is less compared to other shops and the quality is assured. My favorite shop.

Polite staff, no tension buying experience.we are happy and satisfied costumers of kalyan since very long time. Regarding Gold, trust only 2 brands - Bhima & Kalyan.
Rest all are just business minded money grabbers.

Cheating. Trust only in their advertisement.donot join their gold scheme.it has some hidden clauses.

Bangles designs are ok.but limited design in necklace items and they are duping customers by charging exorbitantly for stones in necklace.we selected a necklace gross wt-47.g and net wt-45.g. For 2 grams stones, stone charges mentioned was 46000/-. And all the bridal designs are similar with 50-70,000 as stone charges.and these stones have zero value.in effect u end up paying a fortune for worthless items.so marriage puchases please avoid big stone works.
