Disappointing Experience with Kannur Kalyan Jewellers
I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with Kannur Kalyan Jewellers. I recently purchased an 18k diamond stud from their showroom last October for Rs. 14,000. However, I noticed last week that the color of the stud had changed from yellow to black or something similar. I contacted their customer care and raised my concern, which led me to the Kannur Kalyan showroom.
Upon explaining the issue to one of the executives, their response was rather unsatisfactory. They simply asked me to visit the showroom so that they could polish the stud and return it to me. This raised questions for me as to why the color had changed in the first place, considering it was made of gold. They attributed it to some material contact, but I have other 18k and 22k ornaments from various jewelers, and this issue has never occurred before.
Moreover, I also had another issue with a bracelet I purchased from the same jeweler. I was attracted by their scheme of Rs. 5,000 monthly installments and decided to close the scheme and make the purchase. However, after the purchase, I realized that the making charge for the item was exorbitantly high.
When I visited the showroom to address these problems, the sales executive named Anoop exhibited a disrespectful and argumentative attitude. His insulting remarks left me greatly disappointed. I expressed my desire to return the stud and receive a refund, but I soon realized that it would result in a substantial loss for me. They give only half rate of purchase. It’s about 7,000 rupees only. They offered to polish the product instead, which I reluctantly agreed to.
Additionally, when I mentioned the issue with the bracelet, they initially refused to take it back since I had cut it for length adjustment at the time of purchase. After a lengthy discussion, they eventually agreed to return the bracelet and purchase a low making charge item, but blaming me for not checking the making charge before hand.
The behavior and language used by the sales staff, particularly “ANOOP”, were completely unacceptable. The way they argued and treated us with disrespect left a bitter taste in my mouth. I made the decision never to visit this showroom again. Furthermore, I discovered that Kannur Kalyan Jewellers have significantly higher making charges compared to other jewelers in the area.
I am deeply disappointed in myself for falling for their scheme and not thoroughly checking the details before making the purchase. However, the way the staff handled the situation and their poor customer service is inexcusable. The collection at the showroom was also underwhelming.
In light of my continuous bitter experiences, I strongly advise against visiting Kannur Kalyan Jewellers and purchasing anything from them. Their high making charges, coupled with disrespectful customer service, have left me with a negative impression. I will not be recommending Kannur Kalyan Jewellers to my family or relatives. This review is solely based on my personal experiences.

Very bad experience in wedding purchase.customer satisfaction does not imp for them.field executives saying anything and at the billing Time they were saying something. 18 laks wedding purchase had gone utterly wrong with kalyan jwellers.very disappointed.

Customer service is very bad
Making charges are very high and the bill preparation is very complex.

For 916 old gold from other jewellers, they are reducing the weight by some percentage as depreciation. Then what is the use of 916 certification?

Very poor customer service. Information what they share before purchase and after purchase are completely different. They will suggest to join some scheme for 6 to 11 months with lot of benefits. It is complete fraud. When we are purchasing using the scheme amount they will not give any discount on making charges. Worst jewellery I have visited in my entire life. Please stay away from these fraud people

Worst customer service.
Making charges are very high compared to other jewellers.
Collections are not very good.
Sales executives calculate the bill in very complicated ways. Very difficult to get clarity on the bill.
Worst purchase experience. Never ever think about kalyan when I purchase next time.

Kannur Poor customer service, disrespectful.sales executive are awful lot. Purely worst of time.sales executive really have to changed.

Very poor customer care. Very poor selection. No special caring for breastfeeding mother. They blame corona for everything. Waited more than 30 minutes to get an executive to show a jewellery. Waited more than one and half hour to get it billed. I recomend to not to go there until they resolve the present situation. I lost all the respect to the great brand Kalyan by this visit.

Sanitization is good, but the ear stud we bought lost its color and turned copperish. The shop guy did another coating and gave back. So we are still wondering about it's quality.

The service is very bad. If you are shopping for your marriage don't choose this place. And the selection is also not that great.

Courteous staff.billing is a lengthy process here.otherwise everything fine.vide varieties of jewellery available. Better to avail prime customer facility for exciting offers.

Best jewellers to buy gold and diamonds. It is at the center of Kannur near bus stand. A good car parking facility is available at the basement. Lift facility is there from car parking area to any floor. It is spacious. Staffs are very good and they explains each and everything. Varieties of designs are available.

Had been2Kalyan Jewellers on Sunday 13th Jan for purchase of jewellery. Good showroom. Courteous staff. What is lacking is facility to have some snacks/beverages in or near showroom. Such a facility would be helpful to customers for staying longer in the showroom as selection of items/billing etc takes long hours and people are compelled2starve. Management should consider this proposal of mine.

If I could just do not give any stars, I would.one month before I went here for purchase gold for marriage.the sales executives are really rude.they didn't show us any ornaments models.just showed us two ornaments when we ask about anything they simply said ' we don't have it'. And the worst part is when I asked about an ornaments they just went to a corner and murmured something and laughed.this happend whole 30 minutes which I spent there.they came to my home for two three times after my engagement for telling us to buy from there.that was the only reason we drove two hours nd went there.it was terrible I won't forget in my life.am writing this whole experience because I don't anyone to go there nd feel the same.
