Kanaka Beach House

Attended a marriage reception ceremony here on 5th September 2023. Enough parking space in the ground adjacent to the property. Proximity to the sea and the waves & breeze give a good experience to the people there. Nice place for programmes and to live in. The road along the beach to the property gives a good view of the sea and the sky.

Excellent property to spend the day. Beach facing property with calm environment. Well maintained rooms, clean and tidy restrooms. Staff were very pleasant and answerable anytime.
I spent a day with my family here and none of them wanted to leave on the next day.

Property is located just beside of sea beach. You can even have a full view of the sea from your bed.

It's a pet friendly property.
Pet lovers know how difficult it is to get a pet friendly property in India.

Rooms are very neat and clean. All required amenities are available in the room.

Ample parking place available.where we have enjoyed playing football and cricket without damaging the property and parked vehicle.

Now coming to the best part of it. The service is just awesome and the mouth watering food we had here during our stay is unforgettable.

Even the owner of the property personally visited to know if any issues we are facing.it was a heart touching gesture.

Icing on the top was, they have a small tree cafe.it was a rainy day and the sea looks fabulous from the tree cafe.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property also like to recommend others as well. Just have a word with them, you will definitely find a connection.

It was not at all good. Worst place to stay and unnecessary billing. They are just utilising the nature and very arogent service, staffs are very arogent

This place has a 24/7 beach and sea view without interruption. Rooms are clean. And breakfast was delicious

Shyam and Sudhir are two gems of this property who sort of take care of all the guests.
Food is really good, and I am sure what I am talking about since I had tasted food from few renowned restaurants from this town. Complimentary breakfast was tasty but will have less options since they wanted to avoid food wastage which was welcoming. You get home cooked food, but you need to order well in advance as there are limitations on the kitchen operations - tea/coffee was awesome but it is not available after 5: 30pm for the same reason. You can take stroll along the road to taste some street food in the evening.
Location is awesome, you hear the music of the beach everytime and it is just few hundred metres away. The property is also little close by to the town for some shopping. Rooms are spacious and surrounded by coconut trees. There is a small play area as well if you want to utilise.
The TV set top box in our room was not activated and you may not have the channels that you wish to watch. A/c was not working. But when I reported, they fixed the a/c issue during late evening itself. The people are there to help you in any way they can and that is the best part.
Happy to have stayed here and would definitely come back again.

Very accessible from the Kannur railway station/ bus stop. The bungalow is sea facing and has a huge compound which is well gated- thus a perfectly safe place for kids.
You can cross the Road to reach the beach.
They have a large balcony facing the beach

Few kilometers from Kannur city and easily assessable by taxi from railway station. Very serene and scenic place just beside the payyabalam beach.
There are 7 bedrooms with all the class amenities.
Special mention to the staff and chefs who are very hospitable and cook authentic kerala home cuisines.

Stayed for couple of nights with family during December 2022. The experience was awesome. This is a accomodation with a homely feel and the main advantage is the beach which is just opposite to the accomodation. The staff were very helpful and the meals provided were tasty. Special thanks to the staff for accepting my special requests since I travelled with an infant.

Beautiful resort with peaceful ambience.wonderful services - people we're kind and helped us with transport and all. The food was pretty good.

Located on the Payyambalam beach road. It's one of the older property's on the strip. Well maintained and clean. Quiet affordable. Great view. Peacefull.

#Home away home, we stayed for two days. It is near to beach, well maintained rooms with AC and clean. Family friendly, play area for kids, delicious food was served. Inform early for lunch or dinner with menu.

Kanaka Beach House is one of the best stays in India that I have travelled across, it's a combination of a homestay and a hotel.yes the best part of the property is that it is sea facing:). What more does one need to view and hear.the waves makin music to your ear with following rhythms the entire day.stay was absolutely comfortable with family, the rooms were clean and upto the mark.they have facility for ordering the food in advance which was homely and yummy at the same time.it's not only about the place but also about the people.the staff was very helpful about every small things that you would need.we loved our stay for 3 nights:). Relaxing holidays with a family.i am already missing this lovely place.

Amazing place with the beach right across the word. Wonderful hosts with some of the best appams and kadle curry ever had.

It's a good place but very bad choice in food. Especially private for those who want to enjoy alone time.

Just finished with a call to this place. The attendent on the call had very little service manners. When I told him that 4K per night is a little high, he simply advised me to look for other places.
Wow, I probably saved myself with some more such experiences.

We attended a family wedding reception in the lawns of this Beach House. It was nicely decorated in the evening with decorative individual lights and overhead lights. Nice ambience. Good catering and food. However car parking was not provided within the premises, had to use the outside area.

Very ordinary place. Looks ok in the night with decoration and illumination. Not very neat. Outside road and entry very congested. No proper car parking for a big function

Amazing sea side stay with beach view and the property managed quite cleanly and the staff is very friendly and they are courteous also they serve traditional Kannur style food and stay is very homely.

Excellent Location and Facilities. The food served was indeed delicious especially the tea. The access to the beach is good but not recommended to get into the water.

The place is mostly used for large parties and weddings. Spacious gardens and a small villa makes it attractive. Situated a bit away from town, but close to the beach.
