Excellent location, service also excellent calm and pollite, am a regular traveller comparing my other stays am satisfied here.we are booked 6 cottages there, definitely we are recommended others.

Stayed 2 Nights, excellent location, friendly staff, homely food and the host Mr. Sunil George's warm hospitality is unforgettable.

We stayed for one day. The food was awesome tasty. The room service was good they responded fast for our request. There good parks and dam near the place to visit. Overall experience was good.

I had a good experience at Kandamath Heritage Resort in Thenmala! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene beauty of the surroundings. The rooms have its limitations in terms amenities available but the service makes up for it.

Kandamath Heritage Resort is a great place to stay with family and friends as they provide good hospitality with neat and well maintained rooms and delicious traditional keralite food. The cottages offer river view which is pleasant and relaxing. In the evening we were able to enjoy a joyful, laughter-filled BBQ session with friends and family. Overall, we highly recommend the resort to all as you'll truly enjoy your stay!

We booked hotel through online. When we reached the property, they refused to stay by online booking. Its weird for me for the first time. They already engaged other guests and they said it's full. Rude customer care and fully money minded. There is no courtesy at all. I will not recommend this lodge to anyone.

Great place for a family or friends vacation. Located on the banks of Kallada river, it serves as a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. Friendly staff and delicious Keralite cuisine. Resort owner is always accessible and took care of us by addressing our concerns. Price is also cheap and all the attractions are nearby.

We, 20 persons visited Thenmala on 6th of April stayed for one in this Resort. Very good food, excellent location and friendly staff. In the rooms some additional facilities to provided like lights for the mirror in the bathroom. Overall very nice stay.

It was very good experience and the staffs are very good also food is good and much cheaper rate.overall experience is good will visit again here for hangout!

Simple people who provide modern facilities. Here, the village meets the city! Sitting on the balcony of your cottage you can view the Kallada River which flows just 5 meters away from you. If you are adventurous enough, you can have a swim in the river!

All stars to ticked. Riverbank resort with good service from the manager and good food. We would definitely spend some extra time sitting in balcony or banks of the river kallada in this resort to enjoy the nature. Best place for stay if visiting around thenmala.

We went to thenmala to check out their ecotourism which was disappointing. But staying in KANDAMATH HERITAGE RESORT made up for it. If you are here, don't worry about food because they serve yummy veg dishes customised according to our taste. The place is so scenic which is just beside the kallada river. Friendly and helpful staff and manager. Best place to stay when you are in thenmala.

Excellent place to chill out with Family. It is safe, and it is located on the main road. The rooms are neat and clean. The food provided by them was also very good. Abhishek was very helpful and keeps you well informed.

Great location nearby kallada river with very reasonable price. Good place for kids and families to enjoy their holidays. Room service was very good especially Mr. Abhi was doing really nice having a smile in his face always.

Very close to nature and the resort, staff were very friendly. The way they welcome once we enter the resort was felt like a royal treatment. The resort was safe, relaxing and had variety in cuisines to grab on. So what else you want. It was really worth to visit this place, enjoyed the exotic stay!

First Good Location (adjacent to kallada river). You can do fishing here. Very close to nature and the resort staff were very friendly and caring (even in the case of infants food, milk.etc.) I stayed there with my family.and it's my second time too.

Location is excellent and back lack water view. All staff is more helpful. Resort well maintained very neat and clean. All spot very near to resort.

We stayed for a day here, the bathrooms were not neat.the blanket provided were with dust and we started sneezing after using it.wall tiles were dirty, the handle of mug was broken,
Most importantly no exhaust fan in the bathroom.the rooms are small with crowded furniture.
Only the outdoor is good.
Breakfast was OK.

Good Location (adjacent to kallada river).

Tourist attractions are very nearby.

Cons:
Ants, Insects were lot inside room bed due to rainy wet climate.
Bed, linens, bed cover, pillow cover could have been better.

The place was absolutely breathtaking. Experience from checking in to checking out was extremely smooth and pleasant. The room that we stayed at was spacious and very comfortable. Room service was exceptional and fast. Food is very good quality of food is great. Morning breakfast spread is good and quality food. Overall my experience of the place was amazing and I'd love to visit the place again very soon.

Kandamath Heritage Resort - SIMPLY SUPERB 10/10

- Location of the resort in on-road. Easy to locate. Nearby to all the tourist hotspots of Thenmala.
- We opted for 7 people (2 families) - Interconnected Cottage named BLOOM MARINA.
- Just paid RS. 4500 as room rent.
- Rooms were clean and compact.
- Food was delicious. Served in room as per our request.
- Room service was satisfactory.
- Interconnected Cottage was the highlight since it made the FUN factor for both the families a MEMORABLE one.
- Balcony view was too good. Especially the rare view of the Kallaaru river was a sight to behold.
- Safety measures were on point. We were the ONLY 7 people present in the entire resort during our stay. But NEVER ONCE FELT uncomfortable or terrified of the aloofness.
- Car parking was TOP-NOTCH. Just like home, we were able to park both our cars right before the cottage we stayed in.

My stay at Kandamath Heritage Resort was very awesome and was very relaxing. I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to relax.

Very nice location besides kallar. Warm reception, personalised food as per requirement, excellent cook, friendly staff.

The service and food were really good. The resort is near eco tourism. Ottakal bus stop is opposite to the resort. If you are planning to travel by bus, get down at ottakal school bus stop. Staffs were very friendly. They will arrange auto and fab to travel to the near by places.

Great place for a peaceful stay right by the bank of Kallada river. Clean room, good ambience and very friendly & helpful staff. Selection of food made to order and served 3 times a day. Kids friendly and plenty of parking space. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

An excellent stay for family. No words to describe. Food was just awesome. Staffs were very helpful and cooperative. The peaceful ambience made our stay memorable. All these under very reasonable price. I was shocked to see the bill very less than the rate we expected. It's like a gem which is yet to be discovered. Go and enjoy your time with family.

We stayed in first week of Nov 2021.at Kandamath Heritage resort' s cottages beside the kallada river.
We had opted for a single room cottage and a double room cottage as we were travelling with family and parents.a large family group.

Shaji chettan and his team made sure that we felt at home. We asked them for simple food and it was served with care. Food was delicious and tasty.almost same as home made.

Cottages are compact and yet very comfortable. Cottages have all facilities. We enjoyed the river view.we liked it very much.

You can visit all the major tourist places in Thenmala from this resort.
We will visit again for sure.
* Pls take care not to litter thenmala ecotourism spots with garbage or plastic.
* Kandamath resort is a home stay and is well managed.everything is in the traditional style.
* This resort is in good demand and hence please have a clarity on check in / check out and honor your commitment on timings to avoid other guests waiting.

Amazing river view location with great hospitality. Small river facing resort with four single bedroom cottages and two double bedroom cottages. All are river facing.
We group of 5 friends stayed from 24/11/19 to 25/11/19. Rooms are small but clean and well maintained.

Surprisingly a good place for a resort so far flung and out of any civilization.

Location was great, next to the main road and with a river running right behind the resort.

Location is great. Even though its close to the road, which by the way makes it more easily accessible, the area gives you a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. You have got single room and double room cottages, all well maintained and nicely done. The backside of the cottages faces the river and you have a small sit out area facing the same. If that's not enough you can use the hammocks or benches in the backyard which gives you a clearer view of the river and the nature.
While this place can be great fun for a group, it also can be a place to relax and spend quality time with nature.
All the major attractions in thenmala is within a half hour reach from the property including the deer park which is just a few 100 meters away.
Staffs including the manager, care taker and the cook are all very friendly and helpful.
The food they serve is also very tasty and worth mentioning. Will definitely recommend this.

There is nothing much to dislike about the property. A water heater would have been great as the water in the shower tend to get cold. Still nothing to complain for the price.

We family of 4 members visited here on 25/10/19, the natural pond situated behind our room was unique, food quality was very good, the ambiance and atmosphere gave new experience, simply this place was God's own resort in the God's own country

If you know swimming, you will a great time at the kallada river by the cottage.
Shaji was very accommodative.
No WiFi facility.
Food was below average, they burnt the fish, chicken. (We were a group of 10). All the 15 pieces of fish were burnt.

Stayed one night with family. It's situated on highway side. Air-conditioned rooms with tv and hot water facility. 2 bed room cottages are also available. Rooms are very small. Other side is the kallada river and you can have a bath from there. It has a big courtyard and garden with swings. Children will enjoy playing there. There is no restaurant, you have to give prior orders and they will cook for you. Breakfast is complimentary and contains only one item. The bedsheets could have been better. The room service is gd. Overall a nice stay for Rs 2300 per day.

An amazing place to near the KALLADAYAR river. A/C And Non A/C room. Super customer service and support etc.

The place has four 1 bedroom and 2 two bedroom cottages. The rooms are small and the amenities are nothing to write about. There’s a river running behind the cottage which gives it a scenic look. The host is gracious and very caring. They cook the food that u ask them and the fish fry that they make is absolutely amazing. Overall, the host makes staying in this place worthwhile.

Great hospitality. Tasty food (if you like local Kerala cuisine). Located at the banks of river. Quite scenic. Neat, Hygienic spacious cottages good for family get-together, couple friendly as well. Still being developed especially the lawn and park around - would have been great if that was fully developed, it would give a finished look to the resort overall.
