Ordered Beef chilly worth 240 and got a paltry portionit felt like an appetizer, not a main dish. Shockingly, half the pot was filled with an overwhelming sea of capsicum and chilies, drowning any hope of enjoying the promised beef. The Chatty chor and Kizhi porota were so good. Also had kanji from them, worth it. Really liked the food.will definitely visit again to try more.

Tried Chicken Biriyani, Beef Biriyani and Chatti choru. All are super delicious. And Kanji is a Must try. Friendly staff and service.

Had lunch at Kanjipura, enjoyed the flavorful chicken kothu porotta, while the chatticchor was decent.

We had lunch at Kanji Pura Restaurant, calicut. Tried pothi choru, meals and ghee rice with chicken. The taste of dishes is good. The portion of ghee rice and other is very less. Not meeting with price. All of the them very less quantity and overpriced. Dining space is very small and interior decor or ambiance was good. The parking space available which is limited and road construction is going. In summary, food is meeting the requirements but the quantity very low with high price.

Special 'choru' options with sea food is big in quantity. Chicken biriyani is little spicy.

Beautiful atmosphere, but food is not that great. If you are trying for lunch or dinner "Kanji" then this would be one of the best options available.

Worst place i ever went.waiter has an attitude. Waited 1 hour and did not get food.
They should just shut down worst service.

Good place for naadan chor and meen curry. They have a wide variety of fish included in the pothi chor combo for 250 rs

We had two Chatti choru with Special (Mixture of Beef & Chicken) and Sea food (Prawn, Kakka, koonthal), it is very unfortunate to say that taste wise it is not good at all, giving 2 star for the ambiance. Hope team will notice the comment and improve in quality and taste.

Overall a good place that's it. A bit expensive though. Try to have porridge (kanji) from there it's the best. Ordinary kanji is worth the money while others are a bit expensive and not worth paying for. Chattichoru is an other variety yet it does not live up to the hype they give. Well it's a good place to hang out for once

I was just told they have seafood chatti choor and some special kanji when i asked what they serve. That's a bad technique to sell your expensive dishes. Provide a menu instead

Food is average, nothing special. I prefer kanji panthal as their food and ambiance is better. It's a bit crowded here as the area is very small.

There are too many people acting as waiters but none of them are good at what they do. It just makes the room look chaotic.

They have Aircon but as the doors are open, it gets very hot inside. Either keep the doors closed or provide ventilation.

Wouldn't recommend.

A place for a quick bite. The hotel looks nice from the outside but the inside ambience is just okay. The quality of food can be improved. The place needs some cleanliness. Bathrooms are messy.

Sorry for telling, but not way. Samudra kanji RS. 252/- time pass only, full comedy.not worth even 100/-rupees.

Various type of Kanji awailable here. I had pathiri and chicken curry. Kappa biriyani also nice one. Kolkata Role also tasted. Very nice. Price is affordable.

Had a nice lunch from there, I ate chicken biryani and my friend ate their special chatti choru.

Really affordable and located just side of bypass road. This place is good for kanhi loving people and localities. Menu could have been better.

A must go place. I loved the kanji with prawn, squid, fish, pickle, fish in chilly curry, chicken, nethli fish, coconut chutney, pickle and what not.lovely theme as well.

For those who love local cuisine try this restaurant. A variety of kanji dishes, chatti chor and other dishes are available. Maybe because I'm not much into local food, I didn't like the Chatti Chor.but payar kanji I liked it.

Tried breakfast. Appam and chicken curry was tasty. For someone like me who prefers spicy food it was good.
Need improvement on cleanliness.
Waiters were courteous.

Chattichoru is very nice. Didn't like the extra tgey provided in Chattichoru special. I would suggest not ordering the special one.

Nice place to eat traditional food. It was amazing. Nice ambiance. Compared to other restaurents expense was standard. Chattichoru was their special dish it has lots small dishes include with boiled rice

Their menu is refreshing and different at time when all we can find is Mandi and Biriyanis.

We ate Chatti Choru and Kizhi Porota. While ambiance, service and presentation was good. Tast was average and fell short of expectation.

The restaurant concept and menu has potential and can make a huge hit if they can work a bit on their taste as well.

Especially as time every restaurant is fast reducing themselves to Mandi and Biriyiani shops. People looking to look beyond Mandi madness can definetly find this as an alternative.

Loved their kanji pura special kanji.the kanji itself is not special.to have options like shredded coconut in the kanji would have been nice. The variety of side dishes was amazing.

The food was decent. However when i ordered prawn dosa. Please check the photo. It is not at all what we expected. I spent 5 minutes laughing.

You will feel this is the look after having food.but believe me this is how they serve here.unhygeine to the next level. Never seen such unhygeinic restaurant in Calicut.even the kitchen is very dirty in spite of they having a live kitchen.

Good. Chattichor, Pothichor and various types of "Kanjis" (Adambara Kanji, Samudrakanji to name a few.) available. Delecious it is.
The way the food is served is amazing. Ambience and service is also excellent.
Only negative is their washroom, couldve done something to improve that.

Me and friends had a nice dinner yesterday. Beef edichathu, fish mulakittathu, Kappa were all good. The staff were courteous. Lime tea was good. Parking space for 5 cars only. Easily accessible.
Anyway recommended!

Refreshing experience in Kanjipura, Calicut. We had adambarakanji, special kanji and chattichore. Side dishes for the Kanji itself makes it a big meal. Kanji is served in earthen vessels and they have maintained the same theme throughout. (clay pots, bamboo spoons). Situated by the national highway with ample parking. Have a veriety of authentic kerala dishes. Very delighted to see this themed restaurant which tries to preserve our culture which is very hard to find these days.
