Kanthari Restaurant

Taste is below average. Over priced and Very less quantity. I ordered mixed Fried rice and chilli Chicken. Chilli Chicken is very flop. I never suggest this restaurant.

Really Enjoyed the food. Well mannered staff. Liked their service. Very sad to say that they don't have dine in.

Only porotta and chapatti were good. The 2 curry I ordered were bad. Chicken varath arichadu was bad, and gobi Manchurian was barely average.

Got a great experience even if they have only takeaway.dishes are really tasty.enjoyed very well.

Paal kappa & fish curry is the best. Followed by chicken biryani. Ensure to be at the restaurant by 1: 15 pm to get biryani.

Quality and quantity of food is amazing. Rate is little high. Kerala paratha is not good. Curry items are sooper.

Today's biriyani was not upto the mark. Usually the standard is very good, taste is very good. But today's chicken biriyani was very bad. No more kanthari biriyani from thiruvalla

My wife and I had a wonderful Onam Lunch yesterday. Clean, tasty and packed with care and respect for the customer. We had eaten from this resturant before as well. We would recommend this resturant for all types of meals.

Beef roast (ramdhali) was too spicy. Kerala porotta costs Rs 16, but not like the natural Kerala style where we beat it. This is the normal one. We ordered pothu roast. The food was good, but the quantity was really less. For rs 179, the portion was too less. One more thing, if the quantity is more and you are staying nearby thiruvalla town, the guys will deliver it to you free of cost. The hotel is just like a cloud kitchen and they only have take-away or delivery as is apt in the current scenario.
During this lockdown we ordered again and the meat was hard. Not that good. Be consistent guys.
The nadan veg curry we ordered last day was really flop and it was charged Rs 130 for one portion!

Tried their Chicken Biriyani, Beef Biriyani and Chicken Fry. Beef Biriyani was bit let down but chicken Biriyani and Chicken fry scored high, because of which I dont feel like reducing a star in the rating. Their Chicken Fry is more worth for its price. It was still hot when we opened it after travelling for 1 hour or so. Hope they continue to keep its price, quantity and quality the same. No dine in option is there.

Had chicken biryani and palkappa with fish curry as takeaway. Biryani was good although having eaten from Kantari Kottayam, that was definitely better by far.

Got stones form biriyani rice. Use good quality rice for making biriyani. This is happening so many times. Taste is good. But food quality is very bad. Last time i got stone. No one wants to pay money and bite stones in biriyani s. Authorities take a note to it. First time i did not post a comment like this. I informed the hotel but it's happening again. Don't focus on taste only focus on quality also. Very worst experience.

Bought porotta and garlic chicken, it was decent but the porotta was damn sweet. Curry was good. Then delivery took a long time. Even the rice items were not upto our expectations

We ordered couple of times from Kanthari and very good food. Likes their packaging.we haven't seen this anywhere else (Red and Black combination container) and is spill proof.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. The service and delivery both are pretty quick. Special mention to the packaging. Have to mention their Delivery Executive Harish, because he made sure that food got to us on time, despite the rains.:)

Kanthari restaurant is one of the best take away outlets in thiruvalla. I happened to visit kanthari at thiruvalla. Food quality is very good and the service also is very excellent. The interaction of the staff was very good. Specially one man Mathew by name I think is very good in dealing the customers. Thanks for your best service

I personally liked all food served here in this kanthari thiruvalla. My favs are Paratha beef pollichathu, kanthari Chicken Biriyani, poth thenga fry, paal kappa fishcurry all taste so good. The location is opposite thiruvalla chilanka theater, same building as muthoot fincorp. Parking space is ample and the staffs are very proffetional, well trained and nicely behaved with customers. I will give 4/5 to this kanthari

I was celebrating my Birthday today with our cousins, of course on home delivery of food. We eight of us had the chance to eat the Kanthari chicken biriyani for lunch. First and foremost i must say, it was really yummy. Good taste with no extra spices, no extra oil and with big chicken pieces. The quantity was more than enough, neatly packed in attractive containers. Even the salad, pickle, chutney and pappad was packed in separate containers. My cousins too agreed with me on the quality of the food.

I had a bday celebration and ordered 25 biriyanis and 15 paalkappa fish curry which is one of there speciality dishes. It was simply awesome and prepared well. Another positive side is of their well wrapped containers. Appreciated for their good work. All should try.
