Just okay experience. Ride and all good but not worth a stay. You will never like the stay as it was a hut like experience with mosquitoes and all. Even food is not nice. Never recommended. 2 stars for ride but the rest is useless.

This is Muhamma/ Pathiramanal. Its a gem in the venice of East- Allapey. From kayipiram boat jetty, you can take a boat. When i went (Dec, 2020) it was 100 rs per head to and fro. Pathiramanal is around 1.5 km with thick dense forest. Go early in the morning or evening, as the sunrise or set in the journey would be picturesque.

It's not safe for family, to reach the island you can pick boats from bird sanctuary during morning's

The place is very peaceful. Fortunately able to see some different bird species and the boat price was very costly.we spared 500 bucks for two. Inside plastic wastes are there.

You cannot stay back on the island, however there a nice Backwater resorts nearby like Lemon Tree Deshadan etc. Also please care about values of the local people by being polite.

Best view to the backwaters. But the people handling the boat services are arrogant and the area is not at all clean. Few local people are also enjoying backwaters, but showing a misfit nature to tourist.

Very wonderful place you can see paathiramanal from here, many people came here for enjoy the view there is old 'vilakkmaram' and from here you can go to paathiramanal very awesome

Speed boat fare is too high. 500 Rs as it takes only 2 minutes from the edge to reach pathiramanal-island. However island view is nice while going towards island.

Really beautiful view of Pathiramanal island is nice thing to watch on from here. Very near to Alleppey Madurai highway. One can get Shikkara and speed boats to go to the island which is a bird sanctuary. To and fro journey cost around 500 rupees for four to five people. But no hotels or shops are available nearby. Even though one floating restaurant is there, I'm not sure if it is working on all days.
Also the location could be maintained more neat and beautiful if some more care is taken by the tourism authorities.
