I just visited this place. It has an amazing collection of women's wear. The sarees and dress materials are amazing. But the men's wear section is sadly pathetic. There is absolutely no variety for men.

It's a haven for women who love khadi sarees.

They Have the Best collection oF khadhi Textiles.silk emporium and cotton emporium available. They have renevated the 2nd floor it actually looks like a high budget textile shop. They have antique shop items also. The biggest Khadhi shopping outlet in the district

Good place.having a lot of articles.

The good thing is that, separate parking spaces are available.

Good store if you are looking for Khadi and handicrafts in Kochi.they do not have a biggest collection but a neat and well maintained store with enough parking space.

This shop is located near the P. V. S hospital as we proceed from the Kochi metro station at Kaloor towards the Lissie metro station.

Decent collection. Well stocked and organised. Discounts not extended on all products (which I thought was the case). Parking available.

Very very good clothes - perfect for kerala climate. Dhothis are some of the best i have had. Kurthas are also really good. Real surprise though is the skin care section - their body butter is as good and effective as any in the market and is fantastically cheap - must try! Wish they advertised and product placed more. Parking is a bit of a problem at the Kaloor shop

Loved this place. Reasonable prices. Good quality. Hand made. Responsibly sourced reasonably priced. A touch legacy and mark of simplicity. Especially love the shirts and Kurtas. Thier handicraft is also good.

In 2017, a total of 460,000 people were employed in industries making khadi products. [13] Production and sales rose by 31.6% and 33% in 2017 over the 2016 figures after the multi-spindle charkas were introduced to enhance the productivity by replacing the single-spindle charkas. [13]Various states have boards and/or cooperative societies for the khadi production, promotion, sales and marketing, such as Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board,  Andhra Pradesh State Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society,  Gujarat State Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd,  Jharkhand Silk Textile and Handicraft Development Corporation and Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers' Cooperative Society. Additionally, several institutes are involved in the research and training in this area, such as Indian Institute of Handloom Technology,  Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Champa and Institute of Handloom and Textile Technology.  Handicrafts and Handlooms Export Corporation of India is focused on popularising khadi overseas. NGOs involved in khadi are Rehwa Society.

Popular products being khadi cloth for tailoring various dresses such as dhoti and kurta,  handloom saree such as Puttapaka Saree,  Kotpad Handloom fabrics,  Chamba Rumal,  Tussar silk, etc.  Gajam Anjaiah, an Indian master handloom designer and recipient of Padma Shri honor, is known for his innovations and developments of tie-dyehandloom products along with Telia Rumal technique of weaving products based on Ikatprocess. [14][15]

After Independence, the Government reserved some types of textile production, e.g. Towel manufacture for the handloom sector, which resulted in a deskilling of traditional weavers and a boost for the power loom sector. Private Sector enterprises have been able to make handloom weaving somewhat remunerative and the government also continues to promote the use of Khadi through various initiatives. [8][16]

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserted that khadi cloth is a movement to help the poor. [17]He further highlighted that the Khadi and Village Industries Commission is a statutory organisation engaged in promoting and developing khadi and village industries. [17] He lauded that Gujrat and Rajasthan are well known for khadi poly, while Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are known for the woolen khadi. [17]

Location is easily noticeable. But not maintain well so that it feel not good to purchase. Need to improve a lot

Great collection of khadi cotton and silk clothes. The quality is better than any other khadi outlets. During August you will get great offers.

Compared to other khadi outlets, here has got more Khadi products. I really loved thenga paal venda velichenna available here. I couldn't find it in any other organic shops in Kochi.
