We reached there at closing time still served paneer butter masala and chana. Was worth for the penny. PBM has rich flavour of onions and tomato. Tea and coffee was very good and tasty was good enough to relieve from headache.

One of the best vegetarian hotels in kochi.

Khana peena is a small hole in the wall tucked in the side path near pyaari junction.
The food tastes good, and has a homemade aroma to it. Prices are reasonable. The premises is neat & family friendly.
Would recommend for eating North Indian cuisine.

Taste is too good. Just like home. No extra spices.
They don't have AC. I would advice them to have AC.

Good food. Food is tasty and clean. But I would say the place is overpriced. One staff at this place was very rude to us when I asked for juice. I felt really bad and promised myself not to go there anymore. I think you will get the same quality food and good service at Saravan veg feast on the other side of bot bridge near the petrol pump. The price is way lower than this place. I'm not trying to undermine the place but just like good food, good experience matters. And I never got that from Khanapeena especially because of that one rude staff.

Took more than one hour to deliver my pre booked order. Even after waiting for another half an hour they couldn't get me the food. It happened twice in a span of 15 days. They take order but not able to manage it. My family suffered because of it.
I will never go there again and not recommend to anyone.

Food is very bad and quantity is very less and rate is too high also they don't have customers so they can make food and sell it from there home.i am requesting the restaurant people to o please pack there things and go

It's an ok place to eat, north indian food is ok. We ordered roti and curd rice. The curd rice with achar and pappadam was billed 140 rs for a plate. It's worth is not even 30 rs. It was actually a burglary, so be careful, go through the menu carefully and order. Cleanliness ok. No parking place available.

The paneer curry tasted like cardom powder packet fell in it. So tell the chef to put less cardamom while placing the order. Veg kolhapuri had only cauliflower in it. Bhindi fry was good. Curries didn't taste like normal North Indian, but a good different style for which I have given the 3 stars. Reasonable pricing - we bought 4 curries for Rs. 630/-. When we reached the restaurant in the evening on a working day and during the time we waited (about 30 mins) for the preparation just 2 customers came for food! So it's not a busy restaurant.

Although the food is good it's important to mention a few things:

1. When I ordered a coffee and a tea, it took 15 minutes for the coffee and about 20 minutes for the tea.

2. The food took about 30 minutes + even though we were the only people in the restaurant at the time.

3. The soap or hand-wash, is just water, it's diluted to 1% soap.

4. There's no tissue to even wipe the hands, one has to go back to the seat with a wet face and hands.

5. Maybe it's because of Covid, but i didn't like the coffee/tea being served in paper cups.

6. Like some others mentioned, the volume of the curry was very little that we had to get another curry for a single plate.

So in conclusion, the place has good food, but seems very understaffed and the delay is unimaginable. Not to mention the soap and tissue.

Tried the Mushroom Fried rice.wasn't all that tasty for the price I paid, could have been much better

North Indian taste, but try to give order little early, North Indian can go and enjoy North Indian food, parathe quality very nice, cury also different taste

I'm a north Indian, this restaurant claims giving away north indian flavors but i didnt get anything like that, there is no north taste but, yeah food is good here and dosa is best.

I had food many times from there. It is really mouth watering foods, so healthy, no bad reasons. Beautiful place for family and friends meal, nice food, they prepare like homely meal. Good customer service. So much happy customers, my dads favourite. It has pleasant foods in affordable price. They also have online delivery services like swiggy, zomato, uber eats. And they do delivery on their own.

Very fine experience, maintained well and we can feel the freshness on food. Roti and verity Parathas definitely should be tasted. Good in quantity and quality.

If there was an option of rating the restaurant any lesser I would have done it. Ordered Dal via Swiggy and what comes eventually is stale and smelling.don't know what quality check happens when a food is sent via take away.my first and last experience for sure.please don't harm people with your stale food

A normal vegetarian hotel. The taste of food is ok. Noting to brag about. Staff is ok. Not that friendly. I had an incident where I was having a chapati and when I finished asked for an extra one more chapati, so the person who took the order went to bring the chapati and another fellow took my plate and went away. I told him I had ordered another one, he didn't listen. I was wondering whats going on. Thought that fellow who took the order will bring another plate. But he didn't. So there are better options nearby if you are looking for good service. But the food is not bad and the place is also clean. Parking is kind of difficult though.

Got stale 'Butter Dal fry' through swiggy which was smelling and we had to directly throw it away. Really bad experience and it tasted horrible. How could they sent such rotten food without any sort of checking or quality control?

Fairly good food. Not much veg restaurants here at this place. Best part is that it could be very well found among highly rated restaurants in and around thoppumpady.

This restaurent was on the way to the Church area and the food was just fabulous. You will love everything over there. The Hospitality is great, ambience is Nice, Taste is just Superb. Highly Reccomended!

I would rate the hotel good overall. It takes around 20 min for them to serve the food. That's ok. Few of the dishes were good. Paneer Butter Masala was not up to the mark. The smoke from the kitchen fills the restaurant making you cough and the masala gets into your eyes as there is no proper ventilation in the kitchen. Hope the management takes care of this. Overall the restaurant is good
