Nice ambience.bit expensive for special items like fish fry, beef fry, fish curry etc, quantity also less compared to other restaurants nearby.sometimes they serve rotten food.no consistency in quality of food.

Had breakfast here. Good idli and Masala dosa. Also good tea. Overall a good experience. It's a small space but well maintained and clean. Friendly and caring staff.

Yeah the food maybe homely but the quality is well below par. I have been to this place a couple of times, and one time the food was okay but the last time I had it was like stale food that was served.

Good homely food on the way. They have a good well maintained toilet on the rear of the building. Definitely recommended pitstop for all travelling to Nelliyampathi

It reminded of the old time hotels where food was served on the plantain leaf and the traditional recipes.

Food quantity is less but pricing is very high.dont buy fish curry here.fish quantity is very very less and price is 70/- per plate, not only this case every food item has the same high Price. Nemmara Tiny is better.just 3km from there.

It happened when I had to be at hospital for one week. One of my friend Doctor introduced this 'Veetil Unu' (Lunch from Home) they used to have lunch and dinner from here. As he said it was really Home made food, prepared in their home itself. Yes, it is their real home. Currently the are modifying it's front portion to accommodate more guest, now only 16-20 max can have lunch at a time there.
There you can have particular central keralite lunch Rice, thoran (veg dish), chammanthi podi, (veg dry dish), pickle, kalan or aviyal (veg dish) served with fish gravy, sambar or morukachiyathu. With 2or 3 type of fish fry option, usually, ayla (mackerel) kozhuva, nangi/manthal, chempalli/kilimeen, or chemeen roast/masala, beef fry.
Price is ok, slightly upscale when compared to new kudumbasree type restaurant. But nothing is more when we have it from home.
Place might not be ok for those expecting more of a hotel like facility but definitely okay for homely quality food.

Simply can say it's a homely food place. You can have food as you are having from your home kitchen. Eventhough limited special items (fish fry, beef roast, chicken fry, rice, chapathi) all are stomach-friendly. Fish items are a little bit expensive but affordable. Daily workers at nearby offices, travellers to Pollachi and Thrissur stops here for food.
Worthy.
Not a big set up. Not a star hotel.simply homely.
