Kodianthara Heritage Home

Enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay in Kumarakom; one night at this wonderful heritage home, a truly beautiful place to be, surrounded by lush gardens and streams, and one night on a houseboat on the backwaters arranged by our hosts. Crispin and his family are wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed an evening meal in Kottayam together, before being invited to witness the glory of Gemini Circus; all very special and much appreciated. The only regret was that our stay was so short; next time, we shall spend more time for sure. Thank you again.x

The experience in the kodianthara heritage home was really wonderful. We felt just like our own home. House boat also was really nice. Really enjoyed the day cruise and food at house boat. Thank you for the hospitality and care given by Mr. Crispin and family.

Kodianthara is more than a place to stay, it is a wonderful place full of history, the story of 5 generations in a heritage listed mansion of Kerala. It is a unique place and the host, Mr. Crispin is also unique for his welcome, his friendliness, always ready to help and to share lots of information and good advice with you. If you don't go there, you will miss something unique.

It was very wonderful to be at the place. Very welcoming and hospitable. Clean surroundings and serene ambiance.

Mt Crispin, learn to respect people. I had booked a room and did not turn up for some emergency.when I spoke to him while booking, he said all the rooms are empty as I'm checking in on Sunday evening. Now when I did not turn up, he sends abusive messages and immoral stories he cooks up. I have the call recordings and messages that this brute is abusive. Bloody money minded. Until he stops being abusive to customers, its difficult.its high time somebody teaches you how to speak to people. I am glad that my emergency did not allow me to show up in your property.

He doesn't even respond to your calls and messages immediately even after 24 hours. That's horresndous. Be very careful before you turn to this hell.

Kodianthara just feels like a second home, the ambience was excellent with a lot of vintage collections to keep you in awe throughout. Thanks to Mr. Crispin and family for providing us utmost safety and comfort, service and gestures are very much appreciated

A beautiful heritage home which has its own unique history. The rooms were well kept. They have a small country boat too.
