KR Bakes

Really good food with meh service, had to wait for a long time for them to take the order. It's bit on expensive side, but the food is worth the trouble. Had a creamy paneer butter masala and 3 crispy porottas served piping hot. The bill came up to be Rs. 234.

Food is good as in other branches of K R bakes but the customer service is very very bad.the staffs in restaurant section treat customers (especially students and non Maldivian customers) as if they’re having food for free. Have experienced this several times and won’t be going there again as of today’s experience. We bought a cake from KR and to celebrate our friend’s birthday and the staffs and the cashier were asking us to go out and celebrate when the birthday guy came and ruined the celebration. Even before cutting cake they want us to order food and we were waiting to cut cake until they took our order. We used to order all the cakes for our birthdays and other programs from there only and today’s experience was worse. So sad that the birthday was ruined. Our whole batch won’t be going there again. Also many people have stopped going there because of their arrogant behavior.

K R Bakes, a wonderful place offering a variety of cuisine and conveniently located near Amrita Hospital. I enjoyed the food, and it became a favorite spot for me and my friends during our time there. Good food and memorable moments with friends often make for special experiences.

Very unpolite and rude staff. They treated us as if we were eating for free. They're attitude was as if they didn't want to take our order.

Need to improve the cooking, I tried shawarma and it was not very tasty. The chicken was not cooked well.

Proximity to Amrita hospital is a plus. The place is clean and has good variety of bakery items as you would expect from any other branch of KR Bakes. Place was busy on Monday afternoon. Did not try the restaurant yet. Does not have a dedicated parking space and may have to park the car on the curb. Digital payments are all accepted. I was here again for dinner on a weekday. Was busy and most of the tables were full in the non AC area. Tried the delicious Alfaham chicken and half plate was more than required for a single person.

Loved the ambience. Place was maintained clean and neat. Service was little delayed. Affordable pricing. Food was good. But not hot.

The club sandwich is the best of all. If you are a shawarma lover this is not a good spot. Chicken burger a disappointment. Al-faham was good. Ice cream shakes and coffee is also great

I had a terrible experience at KR Bakes. The food was really bad and the prices were too high. We ordered a Beef Biriyani but it was so bad I couldn't even eat a quarter of it. We were really hungry and it was a huge disappointment. Avoid this place. Only the outside look is good.never suggest to anyone. Try some other hotels may be good.

Very poor quality food. Bought alfahm and biryani. Alfam was very hard and seemed like old chicken. Waste of money

Recently we visited kr Bakers near amrita hospital.we had bad experience from their staff's.food quality was ok but quantity was very little compared to the price, rate is high.but their snacks items tastes good.

Super hotel and good tasty foodbut alfalhm is too small. Try to size the chickenotherwise okey excellent. Super communication staffs?

Quality and quantity of Food is not good and enough. They are charging huge amount of money.personally i don't like to recommend this place to anyone else because of my bad experience

Food is good, but never seen this restaurant as clean and tidy. Each and every time there is files and left over food on the floor and chairs.

Food was okay, great Indian tastes. Grilled chicken is very good. But place has to be clean. Staffs are good.

Worst customer service. Made wait for half an hour for just a cupof tea. Ontop no one will come and ask us what we want

Very very poor service. The waiters are not aware of the food they have and serve. I changed my order thrice because they kept coming back after each order and saying they don’t have it. Please refurbish the service. We feel sorry for the other customers.

Bought parcel on 5th May around 0930pm, 6 wheat porotta, one each veg korma and chicken coconut. After having chicken curry the following day, my stomach is upset, and diarrhea. If I fall sick, I am planning to file a complaint against the restaurant as I'm very much upset about the way how they handle the food. The cooked food is displayed for a long, and without any quality check, they serve people.
I advise all to be careful while buying cooked food kept on the display. Especially late evening as they cook much earlier and keep it on the shelf.

I have been coming here since in began around 11yrs ago. They have managed to keep the quality of the food the same. The place is clean but service needs improvement. Overall it's a good place for food near Amritha

Edit: I have changed my review from 4star to 1star after the horrible experience I had 3 days ago. The waiter by the name Iman (which he had very little of) who was least interested in taking our order made sure with his attitude that I never return to KR.

Staff not at all co operative. Had been waiting for more than 15 minutes for someone to attend, but no one attended thought of complaining to some higher authority, unfortunately no one in that place too, so had to quit and go over in search of a better place with better service, thought this is how business go down when there are no responsible person to handle, while searching for another place.

Very good shop in kochi, very polite dealings and responses from there, I recommend for all. Outstanding experience from there

The tiniest juice bottle you will find in whole Ernakulam city! And know what! K R bakes charges exorbitantly 75 INR for this.well that's not the end. 8 RS CGST + SGST. All these in front of the biggest hospital in Kochi. Aims.what a wonderful world.
Solution- There are plenty of juice shops nearby where you don't get cheated like this.
