Ample parking space, neat and clean cabins, family rooms, facilities and good staff. But, They have the absurd notion that adding more spices will increase the taste. The only difference is that instead of Broiler Chicken, Nadan chicken is used. Normal taste only
Great place for nadan food lovers, especially their chicken perattu, one should definitely visit this hotel, though bit far away for the city folks, it's worth visiting
The original Kattachalkuzhi nada kozhi perattu. They have added kanthari chicken too.very nice. They dont have any branch, the one in trivandrum city (pettah n sasthamangalam) with the same name is fake and it doesnt taste similar at all.
The place has been established for over 30 years. The place is famous for their signature chicken perattu. There's also chicken thoran, Kantari chicken and liver fry. You can get these with barotta, puttu, dosa, appam, Tapioca. The place also doesn't have any branches anywhere else.
Best place to eat the "nadan chicken perattu". Go with an empty stomach and eat to your heart's content! Must try kappa and putti. They have the softest porotta also.
One of the top quality and tasty chicken dishes that I have tried. The dishes are a little bit into the spicy side, even then I loved it. I hardly recommend all three chicken dishes with Paratha and Puttu.
Famous for their 'naadan kozhi perattu'. Ambient car parking available now. Always crowded during evening time. The hotel is situated some distance from main roads.
The famous place for chicken perattu. Located at kattachalkuzhi. The perattu and kanthari chicken (exact name i dnt remember) which is a new addition is also good. Must go place for food lovers. No dining now.
Taste food. The hotel is famous for parotta and chicken roast. Lunch and dining only available. Serves fresh chicken only. Parking area available in front of the hotel. Separate dining area available for families.
I ordered Parotta and their special naadan chicken perattu. The Parotta was crispy and soft at the same time. The perattu was super dry and spicy and their special masala is something to savour for. A must try if you love spicy food.
Reccomended restaurant to have one of the best chicken perattu (dish almost like chicken fry) Pros: country chicken and coconut oil. Value for money-rupees 130 only for 250 Gm's. Ample car parking Cons: Chicken perittu was having excess oil.
One of the best restaurants here in Thiruvanantapuram for trying out NAADAN CHICKEN PERATTU. You can get Puttu, Porotta, Dosha, Kappa, Idiappam etc along with company drinks. Must visit if you are anywhere near Balaramapuram-Neyyatinkara side.
The best nadan kozhi peratt in Thiruvananthapuram. Also the kozhi thoran is a super star. In the kozhi peratt the taste of chicken is very less and it is mainly flavoured with coconut. Thoran have coconut peerah in it. There is only porotta, kappa, puttu breads. It is very good combination that chicken peratt and porotta.
Good quality and quantity of food served in a pleasant ambiance. A wide variety of dishes, shakes, ice-creams are available. The price range of dishes are quite high and there's usually a delay in serving food.
I am 1.kg.chikenperattu sold in 27.6.19 i feel unsatisfied product. No teast no salt fulloil please check raw material and preparation ceare management
Amazing & time tested authentic recipe.perfectly spiced nadan chicken perattu.if you book in advance you may get the chicken kidney roast.they melt in your mouth. Legendary place for chicken lovers.located at kattachalkuzhy
One of my favourite restaurant in Trivandrum.all my family members like their dishes. Chicken perattu is the famous dish here. Here you can see many people from all over Trivandrum. Spicy Yummy delicious foods. Kappa and chicken perattu is the real combination. A must try combination for all.
Hotel Krishna at Venganoor, Trivandrum, is the epitome of ethnicity. Located a few miles away from hallmark tourist destinations like Kovalam, rush is witnessed in almost all days in a week, unlike other restaurants in the town, which marks rush on mostly weekends.
The hotel hogs decent amenities, including a remarkably spacious parking area plus a compartmentalised interior, which could accommodate sufficient numbers of families & casual trippers. Traditional Kerala style foods are favourites here. Some variety of delicacies are exclusively available here. Perattu chicken (succulent chicken pieces marinated and roasted in a semi gravy style), Kerala Porotta, Chappathi, Puttu, Thattu Dosa and items of Beef are the top-selling combinations. Post-ovulated eggs in its very first developmental stage lacking the shell, which are succulent, cooked in Perattu style is one of the most unique cuisine that I've ever had. The prices are exceptionally reasonable for the foods. Improvements which are need to be done are much paltry, since they are well-suited for tourists & local customers, who love to forage on unmatched, non- adulterated Kerala- style recipes.
This is indeed a special hotel outside Trivandrum city. It is difficult to get there, but the food is really good. Their specials are the best. Don't expect much ambience but expect great taste which they deliver.
This is a must visit place for foodies. Hidden in the outskirts of Balaramapuram town. The food is Amazing and warm. Pricing is very affordable. Chicken Peratu is the speciality of this place. It has a clean atmosphere. Not anything fancy. Separate Family area is also available. Has the capacity to hold maybe like 30 people at a time
Tried the famous nadan chicken pirattu and puttu. Chicken perattu was too good. Hadn't tried chicken thoran though. The road is little bit narrow but ample space for parking available near hotel
I went there after a long time along with my friends last week to have a taste of the famous Kattachalkuzhi Chicken perattu. Then I realized the restaurant has changed a lot when I visited there years back. It has renovated to become a complete family restaurant with well enough space and cabins. Parking facility is setup on the opposite side of the road, which wasn't there before. The only concern is the narrow road to the hotel still unchanged.
As puttu, porotta, chicken perattu are the most common available items, I did taste all three. Puttu was good. Perattu was less spicy than it did before. But 1kg for 480rs was well enough for us. Parotta was okayish. Puttu was big with 20rs.
The attitude and customer service was great from all the staffs that is lacking nowadays. The toilet and wash area are neat and tidy. If they try to add tea/coffee and more desserts to the menu, it would be definitely great. Overall nice experience.
A famous Hotel with delectable food and hygienic environment. Chicken peratt is awesome and available at affordable price (RS 120 for 250 grms). Staffs are really good. More over good parking facility is also provided. You won't get hot beverages like tea or coffee.
Nadan chicken pirattu is their highlight. Should have once in a life time. It's really good. Try it with puttu or dosa or porotta. Really good. Best combination is puttu with pirattu. Neat hotel. Have good parking facilities and service is good.cost is reasonable. Hotel is Located at remote area but crowd is flowing to there only because of the taste of that pirattu.
