Krishnendu Ayurveda Hospital

I had booked a 2-weeks retreat for my elderly parents at Krishnendu. From the beginning itself, I found the staff to be the sweetest, kindest and extremely punctual. Suny Vijith ji guided me through & through the whole process and was always available for my calls and always there to soothe my worries and concerns.

When my parents arrived, they were mesmerized by the amazing friendliness of the staff, the knowledge and kindness of Dr. Mohan and Dr. Krishna, the cleanliness, and the beautiful eco-friendly campus and the gorgeous rooms and room services. For the two weeks, they never stopped praising everyone and everything. We all are at awe at the excellence of this Ayurveda Ashram in the lap of nature.

They loved the treatments and were pleasantly surprised by how long Dr. Mohan listened to them and asked them detailed and in-depth questions to figure out the right treatment plan to address their health issues.

I’m so happy that I found out about Krishnendu and forever grateful for taking such wonderful care of my parents. Thank you

My wife and I recently spent 2 weeks at Krishnendu. My wife had a minor spondylitis issue and I just wanted improve my overall wellness. The staff are magnificent. I have rarely met kinder, warmer or more helpful people. The food was healthy but tasty and interesting. The rooms were comfortable. My wife’ s shoulder and neck are totally pain free and I feel much better overall.
We intend to make a visit here an annual routine.

PLEASE READ - horrible injustice directly by the head doctor mohan and his son. I had a HORRIBLE experience and a review on that is already written. I received a msg a month later where I was informed they fired a therapist who messed up my treatment (even though it wasn’t her fault and their machine was broken) and told they would give her her job back ONLY if I remove my HONEST in-depth review that I wrote. Someone alert a union! That’s injustice, sexism, and no probable cause to be fired. Also asking for this would be considered a bribe.

Stunning nature, a truly secluded quiet place where everything is conducive to relaxation. A great team that creates a mood, and all this from the heart. Attentive and very caring doctors and masseurs - therapists, a special vegetarian diet, yoga, a variety of Ayurvedic treatments, a variety of physiotherapy, water treatments in a wonderful pool,
the whole day is busy and every day you learn something new.
The atmosphere there is such that people feel like one family.
The food in the restaurant is very tasty, dietary, vegetarian,
Each patient is given a special diet, depending on the course of treatment.
After spending more than 3 weeks here, I was very satisfied
As a result, I lost 6 kg in weight, my blood pressure returned to normal, blood sugar dropped, my lower back practically stopped hurting, blood cholesterol dropped from 322 to 220.

One of the good Ayurveda hospital in Kerala. Last year I had admited in the hospital for 11 days. All the doctors are easily approachable and they are enquiring our progress daily. All the therapists are dedicated workers especially I would like to mentioned two ladies name Vinitha and Saumya. They are awesome therapists.
All the front desk staffs are very helpful especially I would like to mention Mr. Nandu's name.

Our experience was awesome. The doctors, nurses and the treatment was very nice. I felt much more healthy while leaving the place. Will definitely recommend.

I came for 15 days with my mother. It was awesome experience to be here in such a great positive atmosphere. Treatment was very effective and beneficial.
Dr. Mohan and Dr. Sandeep Sir are excellent and very supportive. His team of doctors esp. Dr. Arya, Dr. Akhila and Dr. Laxmi are very caring and dedicated. Therapists (Aparna, Arya) and reception staff are professional and friendly. Housekeeping was good. Yoga classes were good. Restaurant provided nutritious food.
I'm grateful to whole staff for taking such a good care of us and to make our treatment and our stay so comfortable.

Krishnendu is a beautiful Ayurvedic treatment center which takes care of all your physical and mental ailments, under the guidance of Dr. Mohan who is so humble and grounded. You feel absolutely relaxed and clam once you are there also the staffs are amazing very helpful, cheerful especially Seetha and Aarya who were in charge of my treatment so professional, made me feel comfortable and at ease. Rama chechi who ensured our rooms were kept clean and ready to help with any needs. Thank you so much to each an everyone.

I've had an extremely wonderful experience at this place. I came in for a 7 days treatment. I've made great progress within the small timespan. Moreover thanks to my therapists Arya and Seethalakshmi for making me so comfortable and relaxed in the place. Even if it was just 7 days we became great friends that it was hard for me to leave the place. The ambience, serenity, calmness and hospitality of every staff is commendable. I confidently recommend this place. ️

I had a wonderful experience at the Krishnendu. The place was tranquil and serene, surrounded by nature and soothing sounds. The doctors and staff were very attentive and provided personalized care for my needs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The treatment was relaxing and effective, I felt refreshed and energized after the 5 days session. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a holistic and natural way to heal and restore their health.

After spending three weeks in Krishnendu, I must say that I am quite happy both with the result obtained from the medical treatment and with the relationship with doctors, therapists and rest of staff. The fantastic yoga session that I was able to enjoy every morning before breakfast also helped a lot. The daily diet was in accordance with the therapy received.
Finally, another point to consider is the social relationships with other people who also attended the center and with whom I was able to create a good friendship.
Overall it is a great experience that I would recommend to everyone in order to heal both mind and body while having time for yourself.

Wonderful staff

Visited twice for my mom's back pain treatment which was nerve related. We had tried allopathy before and the medicines provided were harsh and had side effects. Hence we were exploring ayurveda.

Very satisfied with the consultation and services provided. Mom is able to give up her allopathic medicines completely. Highly recommended!

Still enjoying the ambience and the massage therapy. Few more days to go. Appreciate the service and staff- dedicated and humble.

Very very polite staffs including all Doctors. The food was difficult to adjust but then it was a treatment that we were going through. The cabbie driver is worth mentioning here who picked us from Cochin airport and dropped us at Munnar.

Today was my last day at Krishnendu. We came in for a 14 day treatment. I can honestly say, this hospital was the best choice we made. Our stay throughout was peaceful and relaxing. The atmosphere overall was soothing and was much needed. From the start and constantly throughout, everyone was very polite, friendly, humble and professional.
My personal favorites were my therapists Arya P and Seetha Lekshmi! If you get this duo, you’re in the best hands. I can write a book about describing their service and it still won’t be enough to describe how pampered I was under their care. I came in with pain in my shoulders, wrist, neck and back and now it’s literally gone thanks to them. I was in heaven, during and after I had my massages with Seetha and Arya P. They always walked in and greeted you with a warm smile. Was very engaging throughout the massages, constantly checking to see if i was okay. Overall very professional and punctual, they always came on time? I will truly miss them both the most.
I also wanna make a shoutout to all the other staff that took care of me, Dr Vishnu Prabha, Therapist Neethu and Anju, physiotherapist Vandana, and let’s not forget the staff at the canteen and cleaning staff! ️ thank you to you all for taking such great care of me during my stay. I will surely be back to Krishnendu and for sure will recommend this place to everyone!

Me and my mom were here last month for a 3 weeks treatment for back pain issues. We sincerely appreciate the professionalism to the medical care given by Dr. Sandeep and Dr. Mohan Babu. Moreover they were very kind and humble enough to listen patiently to the issues and worked aptly to give the right treatment. The therapists were highly dedicated, especially Vinitha and Soumya. They know their work well and remained sincere. All the staffs were friendly and welcoming. Dr. Vishnu prabha and other doctors handled the care efficiently and also Dr. Adarsh in the Physiotherapy department gave at most care.

The ambience and the vibe in the center is authentic and peaceful, giving us a pleasant stay. My 12yrs old son Emmanuel stayed with me for few days and reduced 4kgs by enjoying the swimming pool, massage, steam bath, gym, walk, diet food and ofcourse TV. Hats off to Dr. Sandeep for guiding him.

Now our issues have been resolved drastically, feels light and pain-free.

A wonderful place for treatment, rejuvenation and wellness!

I have visited many naturopathy and other ayurvedic centres. This one takes the top position. Of course, there are little bit of improvements which are needed, but those aren't significant enough to stop me from coming back here again in future. I will write an extended review of this place once I have free time in my hands since I have spent 9 days here.

But, for those who are going to be visiting, always make it a point to keep your treatment journey as interactive as possible; to clear all your doubts, and also to make the most out of your stay here.

I have also met some doctors who come here for their own treatment. Before you book your stay, discuss with the staff on exactly what treatment, or what ailments you are expecting to get rid of. In my opinion, at least 2 weeks stay is recommended for results to be visible, even more in case of any long-standing health issues.

Things to carry apart from your clothes:
1) Bathing soap
2) Two thin towel - ensure one dry towel is available all the time.
3) One litre thermos flask (To store hot water which you will get from the canteen)
4) If possible, men should cut their hair short. Some treatments will be more effective if done.

I got treated in Krishnendu for sports and gym injuries in October 2022, I stayed there for 14 days and the Doctors and therapist took good care of me and I felt the progress in my mobility very soon and I feel very much better now and getting back to normal. Many thanks to Nandu and his team at reception, Dr Mohan Babu, Dr Sandeep Krishna, Dr. Vishnu Priya, Anju, Awswathy, Sajitha, Athira and Leena and Sawmya for acupressure and physiotherapy. All of them together put me back in to track from my aches and pains and I am confident that I can go back to sports which is my hobby. I had been to krishnendu for the 3rd time, very nice treatment, staff are very humble and welcoming, duty doctors attend to every patient individually and take note of health progress daily. Canteen staff are equally good who follow the diet plan prescribed by the doctor. The place is peaceful and calm, gives you relaxation and rejuvenation during and after the treatment. I highly recommend this place.

Had a great rejuvenating 11 days at Krishnendu. Though was skeptical about how to find peace and relaxation in a hospital environment i was totally blown away with the ambience and greenery of that place. Honestly this looked more like a resort where you would want to escape to get your senses back. The staff is what sets that place apart from the other places that would see. Specially Manju chechy and Bindu chechy who took care of me as their own family girl. Cant wait to go back next year!

I have been a bit late to review this hospital. Me and parents visited the hospital on May 2022 recommended by my aunt and uncle who visited the hospital three years in a row. Its a very well maintained area and the staffs and doctors are very keen to help us and very calm when dealing with us. The rooms are well maintained. I had Bindhu chechi and Soumya chechi for my main treatment and their service was exceptional. Looking forward to visit the hospital again and would definitely be asking for them again. Athira and Aswathy did my room treatments and they were very well natured and accommodating. I had a two week treatment and was feeling very energetic.

The office gladly helped us with the insurance papers and we were able to claim the amount after the treatment.

The food was good. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The treatments rooms are maintained nicely. The rooms are affordable. Definitely recommended this to my friends. Looking forward to visit again. Thanks a lot of the experience.

I had a wonderful experience in krishnendu. I am a dentist and one of my friend suggested this place for me.
Firstly they have very good ambient and excellent infrastructure. Their approach was very professional. Dr. Sandeep and Dr. Krishna kumar was very caring and interactive in each and every treatment procedure. All the professionals, paramedics, Auxiliaries and staffs were very humble and helpful. Today is the last day of my two weeks at Krishnendu hospital for the ankle pain Detox and wellness treatments. It's a beautiful hospital with Seren peaceful and uplifting atmosphere. Therapists are knowledgeable in Panchkarmas. My therapists Akhil and Abhiram are exceptional therapists. Very courteous and humble. They greatly helped me heal. Thanks guys for all the hard work you did to heal me. Doctors Kumar, Mohan Babu and Sandeep Babu are knowledgeable and courteous. Support staff, Kitchen staff and Yoga teacher are very helping and treat you with courtesy and smile. Nature walking trail, pools and yoga court were pleasure to sit and enjoy rain and breeze. Well curated lawns and old architecture buildings add to the charm. Thanks guys will be back.

We had a great experience at Krishnendu right from the first day till the end of our stay. Their facilities are well maintained and of high standards. Their customer service is excellent. Everything is well organised and professionally done. All credit to the dedicated staff including the duty doctors, front office staff, house keeping staff for their customer friendly attitude and devoted services. Special mention to the commitment of the therapists especially Akhil, Abhiram, Sharath, Baby, Manoj, Mithun, Aswathy, Arya, Gincy who conducted timely treatment sessions for us much to our satisfaction and above our expectations.

This is my parents and my second visit to Krishnendu. Very calming and relaxing place for head to toe treatment. All the doctors and staff have been excellent in providing great care and compassion. Every day doctor visit to the room had been extremely helpful in updating how we feel about the treatment suggested. Everyone from the front desk staff, canteen staff and the cleaning staff have been so friendly and professional in their dealings.
The two therapist that I have to mention are Anju and Vandana who were so dedicated in their work. They were friendly and professional in all their dealings. My mum is completely healed from her shoulder pain and my dad has definitely gained more strength in his legs and walks faster now. Shyam and his partner which sadly can't remember his name looked after my dad like their own. Suggested treatments had been very beneficial.
