Very first time when I visited here, it was good. Food and all were nice. But last time when I visited, had to wait for more than 20-30 mins and there wasn't enough staff for serving. I enquired and they told that only 2 staffs available today for serving. And also the dishes we order they told that it will be delay. When the food arrived, it was not even came around our expectation. Maybe for that time. Hope they'll improve next time.

Came here to eat lunch.the service team is average as they did not tell us all the available options and just said few options. The water in the washroom was light yellow in color. Had to wait and go ask in the kitchen area for bill.

The worst experience ever happened with KTDC AAHAAR. As a customer we expect basic quality for the penny we spending. The worst irony is that they couldn’t even don’t know to make a cup of coffee.

When travelling to ernakulam from kollam, I and my parents had evening tea and snacks from here. Food was very good and fresh with reasonable rates. But the overall cleanliness of the restaurant should be improved. Service was also satisfactory.

Had breakfast from here and had a terrible experience. We had ordered few individual items from the menu and they billed us for their combo and when enquired about it, they are arguing that it is how it is there. How are we supposed to know until someone letting us know? Really disappointed with their service. Never going back here.

Keep patiance to have your food. The food is tasty and I recommends the same. But the staffs are very much delay to serve and take orders. So keep patiance, unless you have the same, ul feel to create a scene.

Something good had happened to this place. The place had got a facelift. There is drastic improvement of staff attitude. The washrooms are clean and neat. Hope they maintain the same.

The food was good amd budget friendly. The place was neat too. Even though its situated on the road side, the bathrooms are maintained well and clean.

I have never been to a hotel like this where the menu card proved to be more useless than the tissue kept on table. Seriously. They have all these items printed on the menu card of which everything else except one or two pre decided items will be unavailable. On the good side bathrooms are well maintained. Wouldnt recommend a visit unless you have to attend to natures call and you cant hold it no longer.:)

Its nice.provides a good wash room facility while travelling through kayamkulam.dont expect any overwhelming experience with food.food quality is good and tastes normal.and about price, its ktdc.so obviously will cost more when compared to normal restaurents or hotels

Car dinning available, it's a good facility provided to people traveling considering there is no dinning facility available at restaurants. Food and service is good.

This is a good restaurant in Kayamkulam, on the NH. Our family always stopped here when we were on travels on this road. Great quality food with not so high prices.

Pre booked for Onam Sadhaya one day advance but did not had a proper arrangements for delivery, opened counter at 12.30 with huge crowd and managed to pay balance amount then agin one hour que to get the parcel.

Payed RS 315 for parcel however the quality of packing was so poor even a thattukada could provide better packings.

Food was good but the service and parcel service arrangements was so poor. I did not understand why they couldn’t start to give parcel early. I’m sure all who ordered onam sadhaya from here dint get their parcel on time to enjoy onam lunch right time. Should have proper arrangements at least in this pandemic time to stop spreading covid.

Last 13th i visited the restaurant with my family of four and waisted some time and got out as there was nobody to take care, take order, so irresponsible.

This one is the erstwhile ktdc motel at krishnapuram. Now it is run by another management, it seems. The service is ok considering the present scenario on account of covid. I don't feel a scale up.

Excellent, nearby krishnapuram palace (about 1km distance), price range also good even middle class can also afford, and the most important thing the staff is very cooperative

In common with other KTDC outlets, good food, both veg and nonveg are available at reasonable rates. Service is courteous, but at the pace of a tortoise. Ample parking. Neat toilets. The new decor of Aahar decked in red appears to be garish to me. Perhaps the Yuppies msy like it

It's a very good restaurant. For people travelling from North Kerala to South or vice versa, it's a very convenient stopping point, with good parking and toilet facilities.

Poor service and food is not so great. The washroom facility and parking is the only attraction for travellers. Staff has too much attitude for no reason

Best place to park your car nd relax for some time, during a long drive through the NH 47. Average food.

An average hotel nothing special. This area is only suitable for tea and snacks. Don't in anything heavy and staff sa not so perfect compared with the normal hotels.

This is a reliable place to have breakfast on your long journeys. They also provide pre arranged breakfast and all for groups. The food is ok and service is also good. It is conveniently located and can be trusted not to give you issues with the food. The three star rating is because even though they provide decent food and services, none of the services can be ranked exceptionally good. All are jus ok. But strongly recommend it for those long journeys.

The lunch was super duper. It is worth having as the lunch amount is also reasonable. Suggest to try it

People always visit this place mainly because of the parking and decent restroom facilities. For that u can surely select this place while a long drive, but for the food it is just an average place and sometimes little disappointing.

Restaurant is very clean. We can see the kitchen from the dinning area. It's a buffet system with limited choices and average taste. If you are looking for a clean place to eat, go for it!

The most complacent staff I've ever interacted with. Had this experience more than once. They have 2 options for snacks. And when we ordered one, they said it got over. Food is too oily, no ambience whatsoever. They used to be good, but now it's just a sad excuse for a restaurant.

We ventured into the hotel with great expectations, like with all KTDC hotels or such other state run hotels, this too has collapsed to a non-improvement mode and hence has the feel of the 80s
The structure and parking facilities are grand and the ambience too may have been grand about 10years back but now due to the years of neglect needs a good refurbishment. Not only a coat of paint, but the cutlery as well as tables and chairs.
The lunch as many said is buffet style but everything seems to be of same quality as a railway canteen but with some bit of style. Though the difference is that the food here is fresh.

For more ambience and style, the Bay Leaf Restaurant about 30minutes to the North between Kayamkulam and Haripad may also be checked.

Ambitious KTDC project but the food is below average. Hope someone who has experience in running hospitality industry take over the management and train all the employees and give a decent ambience to the restaurants.

Place where you get good food. Rate will be a bit to the higher side. Morning mostly you will get idli, dosa, etc. The lunch here is buffet. Fish fry and fish curry are all extra. Evening till 6.00, one will get only snacks. Then after 6.00 pm will get dosas, chappathi, etc. The food is clean and tasty.

A great spot on your drive along NH 47.good access, parking and toilet facilities.the restaurant serves good quality south indian breakfast.service is good and rates reasonable.a place to look forward to a motorist on national highway to or from trivandrum.

Its a standard place for food. Lots of parking space and lots of seating. They are mainly providing vegetarian meals. The cost is little higher but the taste is better. Dont go for non -veg which is not such great still the price is high.
Good cleaness and good behaving staffs.the hotel has a less view.bt it is still on the side of nh.buffet is also provided. A/c and non ac is also available. Price difference is only a litte. So go for only ac other wise u will be sweating all the time you eat.its one of the best place fo food in between karunagapally and kayamkulam.

It s situated few kms away from kayamkulam bus stand nd is seems to be odd place.ksrtc bus which i travelled took lunch in this hotel.only meals is available.no other light dishes even not a tea
No other hotels nearby for other choices.

While traveling it is best to have food from known and reputed hotells. So whenever I had to pass through that area, I prefer Motel Aaram. This is because it has ample parking space and restaurant area. So that even if large groups come, every one can be accommodated. Food is of good standard and tasty.

Food Is neat clean. But horrible bathroom. They still dont have any good sanitary ware and minimum bathroom fittings.must improve on it
