I called to enquire about the service, the manager and staff are very rude and not professional. Will never recommend.

Superb rooms and calm atmosphere it's not look like a government property. Neat and clean. Staff behaviour also superb

We had breakfast and lunch at their restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was worth mentioning!
They had extremely friendly staff and the place was very hygienic.

Food is ok if you are a traveler.
I did not stay here so, do not know much about the rooms here if any.

Had a beautiful experience. The Property ambience was so nice, clean and hygienic.

The location is highly advantageous as it offers easy accessibility from NH 66. Besides Kannur town, there are only a few hotels in the vicinity, making it a rare find.

Stayed for 2 days here. KTDC Folk Land, Dharmasala is 15kms away from Kannur on the way to Kasargode. Parassinikadavu Muthappan Temple, Snake Park, NIFT, Keltron & College of Engineering are nearby places. Rooms are well maintained and service is quite good too. My only concern was that they serve only limited items in the restaurant. Fish curry meals was really good. But breakfast and dinner items were average. I was quite surprised that they do not serve authentic Kerala cuisine like Puttu Kadala, Idiyappam, Vellayappam for breakfast.

Of course Ktdc chain food is good. But mostly the good thing was service. We got good service by the staff.

Great property.good locational advantage with nice compound to relax with impressive colonial style building n amenities.since the new highway is elevated, view of location of hotel is obstructed.only way is to raise the current signboard 3 times in height from Current level

Good place for families. Lunch is delicious with more than 10 items. Well behaving staff and good parking space.

Had breakfast from their restaurant while passing by. One of the worst breakfast. No salt or chilly in sambar and chutney. Price is also too high.

The facilities are not that bad, rooms and interiors are of decent quality but it's run by poor management. The toilets are smelly and full of spider webs. I would also recommend to try another restaurant different from the one within their own building.

This is owned by KTDC. Good ambience and maintained neat and clean. Very vast parking facility available.we had parotta and fish curry here.simply awesome. Lawn is maintained superbly. A big banyan tree is infront of this restaurant. We can enjoy dining here. Staff are very polite and helpful. Rest rooms are maintained very neat and clean. Rooms are available to stay here. Lobby is awesome. We can totally enjoy our stay here.

Has food from many ktdc hotels. But this is the worst experience we had. Ordered bitiyani, beef roast and dosa. Biriyani was without masala, beef waa not cooked much and no sambar for dosa. The restaurant have good ambience, well cleaned but the food spoils everything. It's on highway and easily accessible. They have good area for parking also.

Very good restaurant! Its on the high way, very good parking space, we ordered veg thali meals and it was amazing! Good quantity, lot of curries and good taste! Staff was very warm too!

Loved the place. It's got a charm of its own. The old baniyan tree and bench seating arrangements around the property was thoughtful.

The place is clean and well maintained. The food was above average and worth the spend. KTDC has indeed put in a lot of thought and effort in setting up the place.

I didn't stay over here.but visited the restaurant for a lunch.had chicken biriyani and normal veg thali.to be honest. "THE WORST FOOD I EVER HAD". Will never recommend this location

Easily reachable Location, natural beauty, clean rooms, excellent bathrooms, homely and tasty food served, good behaving staff and cool atmosphere.

I stayed there for two days june 30 and july 1.2021.with my family. Hotel ambience, services, food, maintenance are excellent. We all are much satisfied.

Had an wonderful Car dine in Experience for the first time, Even though food Menu was small, but had a really Great food.

The stay was awesome and the services were noteworthy especially those of Aswant and Mukesh. Unremarkable indeed.

Place is very clean, enough parking space. I had only tea so can't say much about the food.will share the food details once I try.

I stayed at Tamarind for my Quarantine. It was a good experience. The staff was always helpful for any queries. Food was also nice. The rooms are not super modern but neat. The place is quiet even being close to the highway and the views are nice.

2020 ജൂലൈയിൽ കൊറോണ കാലത്ത് നാട്ടിൽ എത്തിയ എന്റെ ഒരാഴ്ച qurantine KTDC യിൽ ആയിരുന്നു. നേരത്തെ ബുക്ക് ചെയ്യാൻ വിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ മുതൽ വളരെ നല്ല രീതിയിലുള്ള പ്രതികരണമായിരുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെ തന്നെയാണ് പോയത്, ആ പ്രതീക്ഷ തെറ്റിക്കാതെ അവിടെ ഞാൻ എത്തിയത് മുതൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നത് വരെ എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും qurantine വ്യവസ്ഥകൾ പാലിച്ചു കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ഇവർ ചെയ്തു തന്നു. റൂം സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ മികച്ചതാണ്, ഭക്ഷണം വളരെ tasty ആയിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ 'work from home' ആയതിനാൽ രാത്രി വൈകി കിടക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് ഒരു flask നിറച്ച് ചായ എനിക്ക് എത്തിച്ച് തരാൻ ഏർപ്പാടും ചെയ്തു തന്നിരുന്നു. അവിടെയുള്ള wifi connection ചില സമയം slow ആണ്, പക്ഷെ എല്ലാ മൊബൈൽ network ക്കും കിട്ടുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് ജോലിക്ക് തടസ്സം ഒന്നും നേരിട്ടില്ല. എല്ലാ സ്റ്റാഫ് അംഗംങ്ങൾക്കും മനേജ്മെന്റിനും നന്ദി.

Good room at cheap price. Also the food served is also not very expensive. Rooms are well maintained. At prime location with proper access to transportation services. The staffs are courteous. I stayed here serving my institutional quarantine of 10 days. Special thanks to Kiran who was the quarantine assist and he had been really helpful and taken care of everything in a well manner without any fail.

Very helpful staff especially mr Kiran Dev who was assisting me for quarantine. Food was also really good as they were customising according to our need. I started for 13 days and felt really good

കേരളത്തിൽ എവിടെ പോയാലും KTDC ഹോട്ടലുകൾ ആണ് സെലക്ട്‌ ചെയ്യാറുള്ളത്. നല്ല അന്തരീക്ഷം. നീളൻ തിണ്ണകൾ. തൂണുകൾ. നല്ല പെരുമാറ്റം. നല്ല ഭക്ഷണം. ഹോട്ടൽ ആണെന്ന തോന്നൽ പോലും ഇല്ലാതെ.

I wondered about the neatness and the cleanness of this hotel after came to know that it belonged to the govt. Comfortable sleep and relaxation.

It is an excellent place if you are looking for a good shady place to park your vehicle and have your Kerala style sadya with a bit of non veg (chicken 65 and fish fry) in a quiet, rush free environment under a restaurant cozily placed under a towering Banyan tree.

A good hotel. Good parking spaces. There is a restaurant. Rooms are spacious but old. There is air conditioning and hot water. Its on highway side. Behaviour of hotel staffs are good. Overall its a great experience.

Good atmosphere, rooms are clean and the helpers are good, nearest ktdc restaurant was little expense and the food was not that much up to the mark for the payment. Overall the place was great to stay and its great to see the garden and we can spend time there in the evening
