Very good location near thaneer mukkom bund for one day night stay. There are premium and deluxe room at affordable rates. Check in time is 12 noon. There is complimentary breakfast also. There is a 150 pax hall also for small functions. Restaurant is very good with quality assured food. It is 7 km from Cherthala railway station and 5 km from KSRTC bus Stand. Online reservation is available.

Rooms were big but not clean and too little amenities. Staff were helpful and breakfast was tasty. One night tolerable.

An average and not so well maintained resort. Absolutely safe for families and it is well secured, which is a plus. It is a budget resort and has a lot of greenery, a calm and quiet atmosphere but rooms are not so appealing and old. Renovation and proper maintenance is required. Food is a bit costly, but clean and safe.

This place is so quite with the backwater view. It's really very relaxing and wonderful experience to be at this KTDC Resort.

Very poor, because we paid 3070rs for a night, lakeside, but the setup inside the room Was very poor no brushing items, no fridge, desty, washroom is very badly maintained, room location is not clean, if I paid 2000rs more I would have a room in Taj, iam not at all happy with the service.

Beautiful place with great ambience. Lake side mansion like building where there is a restaurant, rooms, a huge and amazing lawn and play area for kids. Food was tasty.

A really calm place for a family or friends meet. Located very close to the Thaneermukkam Dam. It is easily accessible from Ernakulam or Alleppey or Kottayam. A government property but well maintained. We had a group of 10 people. The staff agreed to use the green lawn. We had a great time even till midnight. Food is not bad and not too expensive. A very nice family place at reasonable budget.

An amazing place to stay during vacations at Alleppey. Nice vibe and view. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Attached bathrooms with heaters are provided. Large space to conduct outdoor meetings and item forums is available. Prize rare is moderate.

This resort is very nice, having lake view from the room. Garden and trees will give you a healthy feeling.

This exotic backwater resort, on the shores of Vembanad Lake is located inside the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, which draws migratory birds from as far away as Siberia. The only resort in the destination located inside the bird sanctuary and is noted for its independent huts that stand on stilts and is a place teeming with mangrove vegetation. It offers its guests uninterrupted access to the backwater life of Kumarakom. It is also an interesting location for eco tourists who are interested in mangrove ecosystem, birds related ecosystem. The property is part of the original Kavanattinkara estate once owned by Alfred George Baker. It is also widely popular among the "honeymooners".

A property of KTDC situated at a Very good location at Thanneermukkom. As the name indicates it is the gateway to the enchanting Kumarakom. The view from the property is marvellous.

Amenities are not upto the mark. Conference room is very small and does not have the minimum facilities. Rooms are also not maintained well.

Got in here for lunch. The food was ordinary and so was the service. It's was on the way with lot of parking area.

Stay is so good.the site is on the bank of Vembanad lake.and the morning vibes are so good.food and service is good too

We actually went to eat traditional kerela food, but the restaurant didn't even have anything related to kerela food.

The location was very good. Had a good view at the lake. Rooms were also well maintained. The food was especially good.

Really a paradise in the backwaters!
Have stayed here for a 3 nights and 4 days in 2010 August holidays.
Rooms are clean and hygienic during those rainy days. During our morning walk, me and my friends used to see fresh fish at every door in the Fisher's man village near by. Had tried many fish fries in the resort and they will make your taste buds go crazy to taste one more for sure. Will visit again for another treat for my soul.
