KTDC Loom Land Kannur

We stayed at Loomland recently on 25th / 26th November. It is a neat, value-for-money facility. Very strongly recommended.

I recently visited their restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the chicken curry. The dish seemed off with the chicken tasing stale and the overall flavor lacking freshness. After consuming the curry I felt discomfort.
People don't prefer this restaurant for your dining experience.

Well maintained rooms with good service and hospitality
Breakfast, lunch and dinners quality and quantity are best.

Highly recommended.the hotel now renovated and.after the kannur Air Port all the hotels makes a steady hike in price even though all the rooms are shabby and old.

Very neat and tidy room and bathroom. Prompt room service as well. Situated at a very accessible location.

Very happy to have stayed at Loom land.
But little disappointed in finding a loom there.
A small loom for a checked towel will add life to the property and surely will be a tourist attraction.
Surely I would have stayed one more day if i could weave there.

Great place to stay but pls confirm the area of room.its too small for the monry we are giving.

We stayed along our friends for two nights. Our experience was really wonderful. RThough we are pure vegan did not had food.

Very happy to have stayed there with my family en route to mangalore for one night.excellent clean rooms very well maintained, very close to the city centre, ample parking space.courteous staff and good restaurant which functions from 6.30 am pretty early than anywhere else. I would like to make a suggestion that a lift would have changed the whole scenario.even without the lift my stay over there was pleasant and gastronomically delightful.thanking all the staff for making my stay a memorable one.

The overall stay for 2 days was good and some good things which I liked with the KTDC hotel are.
• Courteous staff with smiling face and willing to help when requested for. During 2 days of stay, had met different staffs at different time and all were good and courteous.
• Rooms were well maintained with good ambient lightings.
• Hot water available with heater facility and guests can use when required. Kettle is also provided in all rooms.
• Overall, rooms are pleasant and neatly maintained.

Now let me share some practical things which I don’t consider as a big negative, however can be helpful for some.

• I could not find a lift facility available anywhere. Not sure if it is there at some other side. In case if not there, it might be difficult if you are staying with old people or people with difficulties for climbing steps. Please call the reception and confirm.
• We may not get room boy assistance during check in and checkout. This may not be an important thing for business travelers or people with less luggage, however when you are travelling with old people and with large number of luggage, it can be a concern. Not sure if it is there and I could not get it. During check in as well as check out, I did not find any assistance like that.
• Complimentary breakfast – Food taste was OK-OK; but do not expect to have lot of options in the breakfast menu like a buffet. Very Limited options with 3-4 items and I believe that it will vary according to the crowd / reservations in hotel.

I stayed in KTDC Loom Land, Kannur for a day. The services of staff working in the reception were excellent. They moreover very helpful. They give very prompt attention to the customer needs. I would also like to commend the services of staff attached to their restaurant. Mr Vijith give personal touch to your needs. Very tasty food id served. Their timely service is commendable. Their care to family and children are worth mentioning. I would seriously recommend this hotel for future stay.

This place lives to the hype

For the price we paid.
Absolutely worth Every bit of it.

The rooms were very clean and well maintained.
The room service was very prompt.

It's near to the main market and also to the beach.

However the breakfast could be a disappointment for some.
They didn't agree to give us cut fruits.
And charged 160 for a plate of papayas.

A great place to stay in Kannur. Neat and clean rooms. The restaurant offers a variety of mouthwatering dishes.

Since I have been in to a business profession, I used travel a lot over kerala and stayed in many hotels from the range RS. 1500 to 2500 But surely I must say this is great deal and affordable and i enjoy staying here. Rooms are clean and inorder. Room services are very fast and professional, front office people are friendly and pleasent all the time.a resturant is available in the ground floor with good food. Good open parking space but not covered. Over all it's worth staying and you definitely feel good.

Booked rooms for my friends and their families who came from Delhi, Lucknow, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mysore. All of them were happy with the service provided including the breakfast. Centrally located and well connected too.

Rooms are clean now as it’s recently renovated-Let’s see after some months as it’s managed by KTDC

Hospitality and caring from the side of management about each customer is first reason to love this venture.

I had a quite impressive experience with their welcoming and kind attitude to everyone in the table.
