KTDC Mascot Hotel

Went to mascot hotel for lunch with family. The service was very poor. Waited for 10 min for anyone to attend our table and that too when there were hardly few tables occupied. We ordered chicken biriyani and that was served after 20 min. It was served cold, not sure why it took 20 mins to deliver. Food quality was below par. My son had to go to bathroom after having it and to add to the woes, the flush tank was not working. Altogether a very bad experience. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but it hardly deserves 1 star. Will not visit this place again.

Stayed as a family there last July. Staff was very helpful. Provided a spacious family room according to our requirement. Arranged Airport pickup and other travel needs. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Buffet had many varieties for locals and foreigners. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very good place to stay in Capital City.

Very poor service due to inadequate staffs, went for dinner, waited 1 and a half hour to get the ordered items. Food was coled, seems it's refrigerated. Have been there few times before, service and quality deteriorating day by day

A good and well maintained government owned five star hotel in Trivandrum. It hosts some high level government meetings and functions. Food here is good, ambience outstanding and the staff are well natured. It is one of the oldest buildings in Kerala constructed by British engineers while they were ruling. In the heart of the city it is suited for high level business stays and meetings.

One of the iconic hotels in Trivandrum, which started as a residence for British army dignitaries before independence. It still retains the old world charm with beautiful landscaped gardens. It also contains the famed saloon named Brut.

Fairly decent place to have workshops and discussions, has got a separate entrance for conference participants and visitors.
Do not expect out of the world facilities.

It is a small auditorium to accommodate small groups for purposes like small meeting, small business meeting, wedding receptions, marriage engagement and birthday party. A very good dias, dining room provided. The restrooms are well cleansed and neatly maintained. The wash area is also clean and hygienically maintained. Ample car park has been provided. Wheelchair accessible carpark, auditorium entrance, washroom, dining hall and restrooms provided. This convention centre is situated in the premises of Mascot Hotel. This convention centre is centrally located in the heart of the Trivandrum City of Kerala State in India.

Ideally located in Trivandrum. But service is terrible. I was participating in a function where a minister was on the dias. He spilled some hot tea, was looking for tissue paper that was not there. None came to his help. Finally, he folded the invitation card and poured it back to the cup!

Mascot Hotel's convention centre is a retro style convention centre located at the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city. It's suitable for hosting medium sized functions including marriage receptions or conferences. Food quality varies depending upon the function. Medium sized parking facilities are available.
