We tried out the restaurant in the morning, masala dosa, uttapam, and uzhunnu Vada could be better

This hotel and restaurant is on top of the cliff. There is a limited parking space for cars. Had breakfast from there. Masala Dosa and tea. It was good.

Hadnt visited the hotel or the rooms, so no review about those.

Recommended.

This is a very convenient location.we were on our way from kozhikode to thrissur and it’s on a hill. We stopped for breakfast and had dosas. Good for families, good washroom.

Below average Meals. Rice wasnt properly cooked and somehow they managed to degrade every side item as well. But the service from the staff was satisfactory.

To improve parking area, shud trim the waiting time for serving food. Gr8 food, tasty and fresh

We feel a family atmosphere here.we enjoyed the food which is tasty and homely. The hospitality is so much better.

Though modernised now, the food is good. And a good pit stop when going towards Guruvayur. Well maintained. And service is very good.

Not at all recommending this. Rooms aren't hygienic at all. Found a colony of ants near to the bed. Spider and web was commonly found here and there. The attached washroom wasn't neat at all. Buckets and other amenities had a slimy touch to it. Soap and other accessories wasn't provided. Water which was made available in the washroom was brown in colour and that too hard water. Some power sockets didn't supply power and our gadgets couldn't be charged. Hot water isn't available in room and they haven't supplied it as promised. The linen provided wasn't neat at all.

Staff behaviour and service isn't good at all. They made us wait for half an hour to check out as if they weren't available.

Not at all recommending this, unless, completely exhausted and just need to sleep for a few hours (nothing else) - pricing a good sum for a few hours of disturbed sleep.

This is such a shame that government properties aren't kept as neat. There is no other reason why people are more onto private properties.

Food is tasty, service takes a longer time, probably because of lesser staff.

On the way to Ernakulam from Calicut, we stopped here for a tea and cutlet. The tea and cutlet were awesome. Prepared on order only. So fresh and tasty. Don't look for ambience, else you will be disappointed.

Best restaurant in Kuttippuram for breakfast and Lunch. Traditional food is available. Tasty and hygienic. Visited number of times during calicut- ernakulam trip. Good experience

Decent pit stop near Kuttipuram bridge, in the absence of anything else. Expect average service levels. Food is palatable. Coffee is good

Worst experience. First of all no hygiene. We ordered cutlets and tea. Cutlet cost 30 rs and it's the worst cutlet i ever ate. I got big pieces of potato from the cutlet and a hair too. It looks like they simply roasted the potato masala and provided it as a cutlet not even smashed it. The tea cost 20rs and it had no taste. For this high price they should have provided tasty food. The food portion is more but it's really bad. I couldn't eat anything as it was bad. Don't go here.
The government is spending our tax money to pay these people and this place and they serve like this. This place needs to be closed.

Food wasn't that good. Would be better if more food options were available. The staffs could have been more pleasant

Really bad experience. We ordered vegetable cutlet and we got fried potato curry and also it costs Rs 30. Very bad experience.

It's a good restaurant near to the main road. Nice food but higher than normal price, but it is okay.

Neat and clean space for dining and rooms, Staffs services are decent shape. Family space for dining. Easy to visible in traveler's. Parking spaces are decent.

Meals are good expect fish iteams are not good it is not fresh too.but the view from the motel was awesome

Decent hotel, good food, overlooking Bharathapuzha. We often drop-in here for early breakfast or quick evening snack. The food options are limited, but tasty. Great staff! The hotel is right next to the NH. Big plus is the rest room, they have a good one and it is really great for long distance travelers to freshen up. They have rooms too but never stayed here.

My regular halt on way, whenever travelling.
The resturant is renovated now and is now looking nice with good ambience.

Great value for money and has room with balcony. Dining area with views to the river. But dont expect stellar room service or cleanliness. Its fine but not the best.

Absolutely great stay and hospitality. The area is so damn beautiful especially if you happen to escape from metropolitan cities. Only one problem is that the suite room as they say is too damp. Due to COVID, limited food was available but was tasty. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Special mention for this young guy Jithin, very hardworking and nice guy. I would recommend this motel.

I had breakfast last week from here. They provide in car dining now as per the COVID protocol dinning is not open in any restaurant in Kerala as per the government regulations. So it was really a good experience and the food is presented very well. Food taste is also good. They had allowed us to use the washroom which has entrance from outside of the building. The had provided a warm service the staffs were well behaved and friendly. Overall I had a good experience.

This was one of my favourite restaurants when I was a little kid. I loved that it was red in colour with the brick texture and that it was on top of a hill, and used to enjoy watching the lights of cars going up and down the hill on the other side of the river. I remember stopping here for tea, each time I travelled with my grandfather to Kozhikode.
But sadly, when I stopped by recently with my friends to relive the nostalgia, we were treated with a rather boring breakfast that felt crudely put together with anything they can find in the kitchen. They also took their sweet time preparing the dishes.
And we had to go over the bridge to the other side to find an ATM to pay by cash, because they don't accept card or any sort of digital payment.

Rooms looks nice but no food, no hot water and pathetic service.only one person was there to serve.pls look after some other hotels and price too high. 1700/- double rooms ac for worst.

If here is an option for giving negative star then i must give that for this dirty place, I am still wondering how I could stayed this hotel with my family, there is no near rooms and *water* for refreshments. I will not suggest anyone (atleast my enemies) to stay there at any circumstances.

Reasonably good room at reasonable rate considering the locatiin. Good food. Good view of Bharathapuzha from the balcony.

If you are anywhere between Calicut and Thrissur on the highway, then it's a nice place for some refreshments. Quite place with a view of the nila river. Have enough seats for a group. Do Stop for quick snack in here and then proceed

Great place for yummy breakfast. Not much publicised, but serves up hot-finger licking food. Bcoz it's not much publicised, there's very few souls eating there, gives enough privacy and quiet to eat in peace. Definitely a drop in on way to Ponnani or Thrissur

Great place for a quick evening snack while traveling. Their cutlets are super good. Service can be improved.

Good food, especially dosa for breakfast. For a short break of journey, this hotel is good with a panoramatic view of Bharatha puzha and Siva temple near Kuttippuram bridge. I like this place

Location is good and restaurant also serves good food. Staffs are friendly and provided good service but rooms and toilets looks old and are poorly maintaned. Water might be directly pumping from the river, looks and tastes horible! A/c, water heater, elecrtic wiring has some issue. Need a major maintenance!

Had lunch from here, very nice and neat place and had a good normal vegetarian lunch also, though non veg meals was also available.

It is located on Thrissur, calicut highway near kuttippuram. Visiblefrom road. Rooms available on rent.veg and non veg food. Food served is above average. Price reasonable.rest room are clean.very limited parking. Not wheel chair friendly.
