One of my favourite spot in thalassery and mostly visited to try out there icecreams. The place is hygiene and has a variety of cake flavours and icecreams to try out. They also recently started the cafe section along with icecreams.
Nice place, right in center of Thalassery, Verity if icecream, cakes and other ice cream based products. Lot of place to sit and dine. Over all the ambiance is really nice. We tried the faluda, which is really good. Also tried putt ice cream and another one, which we didn't like much. The quantity of puttu ice cream is too much. They should suggest the customers about the quantity of the item, else new people might end up ordering a lot more than they could consume, like us. But the good thing is they helped us to pack it, and did a very decent packing too.
We ordered a Ferrero rocher cake and we had a custom design for it.everything was perfect about the cake and they helped us to surprise a friend.very friendly service
Ordered 1kg Tres Leches cake at night and recieved within half an hour without any delivery charge. Although the cake was really tasty as usual, it wasn't the real Tres Leches flavour. However, overall satisfied.
Didn't like the cake. I ordered malai, which wasn't tasting anything like malai and couldn't eat more than a small slice because of the loaded cream between layers.
They normally set cakes in the counter which are not fresh and even management doesnt know the whether they are fresh or not. Bought honey almond cake for my daughters bday.absolutely gutted to have rcvd the worst cake. Situated near thalaserry bus stand and selling the old cake with misery.be cautious and better avoid buying cake from this mischeivous shop!
Our family visited the place last week and ordered couple of ice creams and falooda. Out of the order one of the item turned out to be stale and caused one adult to be hospitalized and 2 kids bed ridden for 2 days. So it might be a hit or a miss depending on the freshness of the item you have.
They served the putt and curry which is comparatively expensive than other shops around thalassery. And still they disappointed, the choice of ice cream was not great and the ice cream was already melted somewhat. Service was not good as well.
Kulfi special falooda, as it see it contain lot of dry fruits and fresh fruits with creamy butterscotch and vanilla icecream and chocolate fantazy, with chocolate sauce serving on the top is bit bitter but okay. By the way good service no need to wait for more than 10minutes️
Awesomely adorned, but cakes need a tad job more. I tried their red velvet, and it was too sweet and tasted like biscuit, and too many white chocochips in the layers. The red velvet is supposed to be this smooth and subtly sweet charm. But their pastry was nothing like that.
The trick is to not have competition in the area. I believe there is no other red velvet makers in the small town. So they can survive fine.
Very expensive place. Quantity of icecream or falooda they serve is also very less compared to places nearby. Not worth the money I would say. Overall waste of money.
Puttum kariyum ice cream: 2/5 Just for name I think they introduced it (because it's treading now). If you have to introduce it just do it for quality not quantity. Flavour combinations were too bad.
Varieties of items, the presentation and taste of different icecreams are really worth praising.but you have to wait alot for getting ur item ordered and served.customer service is a little bit poor otherwise in taste its just awesome
