Kumarakom Houseboats

I have gone to many houseboat rides. One of the best boat rides and nice food too. Vegetarian food was equally good and goes toe to toe with non vegetarian food. Great service. Staff were very courteous. We were 12 people in total. Would recommend to any others who want to go for houseboating in kumarokam.

It's a lifetime experience. Don't know about the other service providers but for me this is the best. Booked a one-bedroom deluxe house boat. Captain Senil and Cook Shashikumar were very cordial. They were always smiling. Journey experience is a never forget one. Room was clean comfortable and cozy. Ac time from 6.30 pm evening. For a change literally no mosquitoes. Lunch experience on vembanad is marvelous. Dinner when the boat is ashore at night. Food is delicious and in good quantity. They serve Kerala Karimeen fry in lunch, which is yummy. My little daughters were befriended by mr. Shashikumar and his family as he lives nearby. Most memorable experience. Total Cost was 8600/- including 2 adult and one child (age 6-12). We are a group of 5 people in our family. We enjoyed the Boat house stay very much. Upkeep of the rooms are very neat. Vegetarian food was excellent. Overall the Boat house ride n stay beautiful.

I booked a deluxe houseboat and it wasn't neat at all. The AC will be turned on only in the night and there were lizards in the room aswell outside.the room was too compact and the entire stay was with humidity.
