La Promenade Hotel

Pathetic stay - bedbugs will hunt you whole night, complimentary breakfast with only dosa/idly items, unclean room and toilet, dirty linens and pillows with stains, damaged balcony door with no option to open, though we charged for extra person, extra bed was not provided and there was no one to contact at reception at night! Complimentary water bottle was provided, but it was visible that the bottle was a refilled one and sealed using feviquick or so, tv not working, no fan, only AC available, that too with a malfunctioning remote. Not even worth to call a 2star hotel.

Rooms are cheap and good, but not maintained properly, felt a bad smell, the bathrooms are neatly cleaned, but still there was a smell. The staffs are polite, but room is not maintained.

Before booking rooms make sure to confirm rent multiple times. Otherwise they may ask for extra money in between or ask to cancel breakfast.

We got excellent welcome from reception and rooms are very spacious. Food supplied from Restaurant was very mouth watering. Overall service is very excellent and thanks for making my stay comfortable

In this sleepy town, we found a gem. This place is just opposite to the road which leads to the famous kovalam beach. Spread of food and quantity is very good. The fish biriyani and the chicken biriyani were of excellent taste and of a never before feel.
The ambience actually enthralls you.beautiful done concrete structures looking like a jungle inside the city.an being open air adds to the feel of a garden restaurant. Staff were courteous and prompt. Next time i am travelling to these places.a visit to LP is a must

Receptionist was welcoming and polite. However we had a bitter experience with the restaurant staff. We parked the car in front of the hotel as we were staying there. The restaurant staff came and abused us for parking there. He thought we parked the car there and went outside for food. When we conveyed that we are staying in the hotel he just left without even apologizing fot the filthy language he used. No professionalism from the part of restaurant management also for extending an apology. Never coming back

The restaurant is not customer friendly. The server person (with glasses) not respecting and responding to customers.

Not worthful at all. Rooms are not clean, Rat's are running on the rooms in the midnight. Unable to sleep the whole night. Cleaning also not done properly. We have raised the issue in the midnight and later the clean the room.

Restaurant food is good

Located precisely about 2 km away from Kovalam beach, this hotel is the best place to put up during a stay there. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The AC adds to the comfort and the spacious restrooms make for a joyous stay. The adjacent restaurant to the hotel provides a wide range of varieties to choose from. The Biryani, for instance, comes with Malabar flavour which adds to the uniqueness of it. Other dishes like Paneer Butter Masala, Chicken Curry, French Fries, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Noodles etc too are incredibly good in terms of taste, and quantity, The prices too are moderate. The cleaning staffs are extremely well-behaved and do their duty very well as expected. The presence of palm and coconut trees around and the sound of the rooster in the morning make for a countryside feeling that even adds more to the comfortable stay. Clean and hygienic rooms within reasonable price on the best budget stay in Kovalam with 5 mins of travel to access the beach, no sea view because it is right away located on the Kovalam junction which is in the highway.
Don’t know all of the rooms have bath tub but the room with one is pretty good.

It's a nice location in kovalam junction, near kovalam beach. And they have a beautiful banquet hall also.

Had food from Emaar on my way to kanyakumari. I really enjoyed the dine in experience and also the food served was great.

Haven't stayed there. But have had food from Emaar Indo Arabian restaurant there. Not always upto the mark. But serves decent biriyani and mandhi.

Had great experience of traditional kerala food in the afternoon period at the Medical College branch of Pankayam.
Went here with same hope and expectations.

Was a disaster.
Meal was ok. No good sides.

Shark wasn't properly fried.
Squid was good.

I hope that they fixed the toilet lights.

A decent hotel near Thiruvallam Parasuramaswami temple. Kovalam beach is around 5 Km away from the hotel.
