One of best cafes, I have ever been to.

The beef burger was one of the best burgers I have eaten

A varied experience. They have attempted to live up to the culture their name represents. The vibe is cosy and light.
The wide assortment of breads and pastries are mouth watering.
The chicken cheese burger was the best among the dishes that I tried.
Only the pasta was a bit off let down.
The ingredients are fresh and the savouries are.
The staff wear period costumes.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Will definitely visit again

Just a milk + white powder mixer
Again disappointed

Vegetarian items are limited. We ordered everything veg present on the menu. Will recommend the wraps and pasta. Ambiance is up to the mark.

What a food! Amazing experience. Too excited to find this place in kozhikode. We had to drive a long way to find though. A must try!

If you love bread, you cannot miss this place. I felt the menu prioritized innovation and presentation over actual taste, but it was still a really good experience. A bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it for a special occasion.

Ambience: cozy seating with plenty of indoor and outdoor options, including swinging chairs at a few tables. Fun if you're going with kids (or those who are kids at heart: P). I especially loved the fence that blocked out the dust/noise from the street and also acted as a privacy screen.

Food: The freshly baked croissants, foccacia and cream cheese buns are to die for. Their pasta/rice dishes were less impressive, but still okay. If in doubt, choose bread!
You can also buy loaves separately from the display shelf.

Service: Extremely helpful staff who will make knowledgeable recommendations if you're a little unsure, and the dishes came to the table pretty quickly too.

Definitely will return to try more dishes from the varied menu!

The ambience and the aesthetics of this cafe have my heart. With ample seating both indoors and outdoors this is a great place to have conversations with your loved ones while enjoying some spectacular food. I tried 5 dishes from here all of which were excellent:
1. Strawberry Smoothie
2. Lady Loafella Croi Wich (chicken)
3. Mascarpone French Toast
4. Iced Latte
5. Spicy Beef Balls, Bucatini Pasta and Vegetables

I found the iced latte to be a bit too sweet but that can also be due to personal taste. This cafe is truly a different experience that you will not find anywhere else in Calicut. They have a pretty great menu with a lot of different options to try and the plating is simply delightful.
The one negative I have to say is that there were some flies around inside which is unhygienic and dampens the dining experience having to swat them away. The perils of summer!
It's not situated in the heart of the city so travel would be recommended with your own vehicle. But overall I would definitely recommend Lady Loafella for a great dining experience.

Cons: Extremely Poor service, missed 2 orders, waited for more than 30 minutes to bring order for childs burger. Had to ask multiple times, not much of response. There wasn't even much crowd.
Apart from bread, food is too salty and greasy
French fries are dry. Same with tart
Veg sandwich loaded greasy and loaded with sauce
Outside seating is humid and mosquito ridden.
Pros: Good ambience, inside with swings and variety of fresh assorted breads

Overall found that food and service is just not worth it, even for the ambience and long wait.

The place is known for its ambience. The place is a delight to go in the evening & nights. Well lighted & perfect balance of seating arrangement & service.

When in Calicut, its a must try Restaurant

A really good restaurant with good selection of Italian food. Really loved choux pastries (mince chicken). They have their own selection of artisan breads which are really good.
The atmosphere gives a vibe of Europe. It feels you are sitting in a cafe in Italy/France.
Do visit if you want to experience good Italian food in Kozhikode

It was my first Experience of an English Breakfast in Calicut. Surprised by the Quality of Food and the Courteous Service by the entire Crew. The American Platter was heavenly and nothing could beat their freshly baked Croissants and Muffins.

We had a very pleasant candlelight dinner at Lady Loafella's. They organized an adorning table on short notice. Mr. Steve and his team truly deserve credit for their customer service.

They were all YUM. Their croissants are one of the best in town. I strongly recommend the croiwich chicken sandwich. We will definitely visit again to try more dishes when we visit Calicut.

Most versatile cafe in Calicut. They keep justice to their menu. Only artisan bread makers I found in town. The ambience is excellent. Suitable for family, friends and couples. Loved it. Enough parking space also there.

We came to stay with a friend in Calicut and happened to go to this place for lunch. Really good food, surprised to find something like this in Calicut, pretty much up there with the cafés we have eaten at home in Mumbai or even some of the cafés in Europe. Only place in Calicut personally where the coffee was pretty nice. Just one star less as not all of the staff is absolutely well trained, the inner area was full and when we asked for a table, one of the ladies was quite curt and rude and said ‘not possible’, rest of the staff quickly made up for it.but a place like this deserves even better service.

When you go to a new food and hangout venue, you do have some expectations. This place did deliver on them and some more. The food starting with the Nilgiri spiced hot chocolate and the pickled chilli hummus were good to the last bit. The Quinoa and chicken salad was the' just right' bite for a casual conversation. The dessert for us was the english all day breakfast item- Mascarpone French Toast. Indulge once in a while with this rich and casual dine out experience. Mind your pockets though. We went for the Brioche bread as take away and it was the icing on this 'wonderful experience' cake.

The menu had a few croissant varieties so I thought okay I’ll go for a classic butter croissant and ugh it was just not acceptable like the ones we will get in packed foods and they made a sweet butter glazing on top which was really not ok
The second dish was fettuccine rosemary smoked chicken pasta that was very cheesy I could only taste the cheese in it nothing else don’t get me wrong I like cheese but this
The beefs keema flaky pin wheels was flaky but it doesn’t match up to the presentation
The latte wasn’t good
Mojito had too much syrup

Great experience and hospitality from Kalliyath family. Really enjoyed the dinner and time.
More over the staffs were friendly and make us happy with serving a different menu which was not available in the city.

It will be better if you can reduce the pricing or increasing the quantity you are serving.

Loved the vibe, service and the ambience. The staffs were very welcoming and attentive. The entire dishes are on a expensive side but its worth. Do try their exclusive desserts and bakes. Its worth a try will be visiting again An applause to the team behind the cafe. From the interiors, settings to the delicasies and staff training. Kudos!

Ordered a croissant.was served cold one.ordered other one asked it to be warm gave a charred one but warm.
U expect a 150 rs croissant to be warm.coffee was good.ordered a dessert which was good

The outstanding thing inside the 'lady' is it's food and it's ambience, especially the swing chair.
Fettuccine Rosemary Smoked Chicken Pasta was an ok one the garlic bread with the pasta was a bit hard but the "croiwich", croissant filled with herby basil pesto, grilled chicken is worth a mention.

First of all nice ambience place, they serve lots of verity food with good presentation and the best quality of food. Their speciality is they make almost ingredients from their kitchen. The price will be a little bit higher but it will be considered because of their quality.

Gotta give a 10! From the ambience, the presentation, the taste, the freshness of the breads, the courtesy of the staff, Especially Neha who was very helpful. Would've ordered around 10 items of which we loved every single one of them! A must visit if you're in Calicut!

The food was excellent and so was the service. Especially we like to thank Neha who helped us choosing the lovely delicious food. We had Croi wich wich Chicken, SEMI BRIOCHE MUSHROOM AND ORANGE CHILLY JAM, MUSHROOM VOL-AU-VENT which was awesome. The restaurant has a vey nice ambiance and very have good parking facilities. We really enjoyed our dinner and would like to recommend this place to all the food lovers. Thank you for making our evening (great) different. We will come back to taste more.

Best continental in kozhikode, ambiance is very good and as it is located just outside the main city its good that not much crowd ed and very privacy oriented.

Food is just awesome and must try

Cute little corner with an out of this world feel especially with the beautiful french windows, pastel hues and very european setting. The food is exotic and finger licking good. The service too is very subtle and friendly. A great team if folks running the show. I am sure the owner sure has excellent taste. Please have one more outlet towards the Kozhikode or Varkala beach.

Had a good time with family, food was good, ambience was good but not enough tables. The idea of having swings for seat is definitely not a good idea as the rope keeps getting in the way and you can't eat properly, increasing the width a bit might help and please keeps a cushion for the back. Good staff but they could serve with a smile. It is located very far from Calicut town and it is definitely a bad idea to drive through Sunday traffic to get to the restaurant. Expected the place to be crowded but it was not. Please do something about the flies. It ain't a good thing to see flies on the dining table.

Please do you mind explaining what is serene about the location? And when I said the staff could serve with a smile I did not mean they were bad. They were good but it is wonderful always to have a smiling face. About the ambience being contemporary European, it looks good but the swing used, the position the ropes are very uncomfortable to sit on and eat.

Went to Lady loafella again, I would like to appreciate them on the message well recieved, as the staff was extremely kind and served with a smile. Food was excellent! Not very happy with the seating. 3 to 4 star!

Great cofee shop, with excellent choice of bread, meat, salad, dessert and drinks. Excellent service. Reasonable rates.
