Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort, Kerala

Great hosts and excellent food, served with a smile. Access is slightly difficult. The room and bathroom show a slight age. The lake view is good as one can see fishermen and nets early in the morning.

We were on a vacation trip to Lemontree Vembanad Lake Resort. The lake view ambience was amazing. The rooms were neat and tidy. Service provided by Mr. Anu was top notch. He catered to all our needs in a timely manner.
Enjoyed the stay here.

A cosy property with its boundary overlooking the Vembanad Lake. Ideal for a quiet holiday. Very helpful staff led by Jijo and team. Ten mins drive to Marari beach to witness the sunset. Rooms are spacious, the pool facing ones has great view on offer. Food served at their restaurant is good. Menu options are limited.

Very poor service and food.
Complimentary boating was also done in a few minutes.
The main thing is far away from Alleppey.
There were no water tap near the parking area for clean my car.
Totally pathetic.

I don’t know how to give rating in negative. The worst Hotel room we ever experienced… we checked in at 7pm and
1.struggled with TV since it was not recharged.
2. Then the wifi connection was not establishing which did not happen even till the time we checked out.
3. AC regulator was not working. We had to ask reception to switch off the AC since it was centralised AC.
Then comes the worst part
4. The toilet was blocked and after complaining, the maintenance staff cleared it once and then it get blocked again, not just toilet even the bathroom drain was choked.we expect to get at-least basic things to be right.

Amazing stay and quite memorable. Really enjoyed room with great view of entire lake.
Food is decent and we were satisfied with entire service.

It is little far from Alleppey but still it is nice place to stay.

With little more changes within property and services will make this places spectacular.

Location is the main attraction.
Rooms and staff are good.
Food could be improved much better.

The property is just behind the back waters of Alleppey and we got a back water / swimming pool facing room. The view from the room is stunning and i have not stayed in a similar place in a very long time. The swimming pool is clean and neat and there is a kids pool as well!
The reception staff is courteous and welcomed with a smile. The breakfast had a good spread, but the taste is not good, not bad. The property from outside view looks bad, but inside its great. The lawn and kids park play area could be improved. We paid 8k for this stay which i felt is on the higher side. Heard it's cheaper in offseason. Overall a nice one and i would definitely recommend for someone if the cost is acceptable.

Not at all worth the price they make you pay. The hotel needs a lot of maintaining. The quality of the rooms and restaurant is underwhelming. The bathroom keeps choking up. We have to call the reception each time to turn on/off the AC. Heavily understaffed. All glass windows and mirrors are old and stained. Hospitality on the low. A lot of potential in the infrastructure but unfortunately a huge let down from a famous brand.

Never book your stay through travel portals. Try connecting with the hotel directly. Once I connected with the Manager Mr. Abhijeet. He was very helpful and warmly welcomed me.
The rooms were nice and spotless. So were the bathrooms with basic toiletries provided. An electric kettle with Tea, Coffee and milk mixer and sugars was provided. Also water bottle. No mini fridge, no mini bar. No menu card in the room. Fantastic view though.
The food menu was very basic and minimal, with not even local specialities available. The approach to the resort is very narrow and there does not appear to be any mini supermarket or medical shop close by. However the staff at the dining area were very helpful and cheerful, Mr Rajashekar Reddy, Mr Deb and Mr Rakesh, with the limited resources they had. Only towards the end, I came to know there were bottled soft drinks for sale. There is no bar and I was looking forward to a few cocktails and snacks. However, I was unwell with a viral infection and had to remain largely confined to my hotel room so my appetite was largely limited. The view and lovely espresso coffee by Deb and Rakesh made it better.
Mr Abhijeet was gracious enough to listen to my suggestions. For the time being carry your own snacks and spirits and look around for lunch and dinner options. Breakfast menu is decent enough.
I travelled solo and felt absolutely safe.

Disaster stay!
I planned my allepey trip by staying with lemon tree for 2 days. Reached around 6 at evening to checkin. There was no one in hotel for welcome or atleast to serve any welcome drink.
To add cherry on top, there was no electricity for whole night and no one to help to relocate us to another room.

No one to assist till room at checkin. The washroom in my room had some howling sound after every flush.
AC is central and hence no control in hand. In one of my friend room there was no fan provided.

Stay - bad very bad. Property is old. No balcony to look at the view. No dental kit, no dryer and phone was not working for us to request for it. Cafe was so hard to locate. No pool towels. Light was fluctuating in morning.
The hospitality is so bad.
Ambience is so sad. No happening event or decoration. Place was looking more like haunted place at night. Atleast put some lights guyssss.

Service - very bad service. Worst! I had to keep calling staff till 4 am asking to help. Only word they said was they can help at morning.
Anyways manager understood and helped with refund.

Food - variety is less. And yeah due to light fluctuation, food was not keeping warm at buffet.

It was really a bad experience and a worst stay. They are really taking a lot of money for a night stay. I don't understand what facility are you providing.
Don't stay with this hotel.

If you find difficulty to find good place at allepey, try finding one in marari beach. You will get better option and is 40 mins away.

Best Resort is in Vembanad lake place.

Prasenjit ji and his staff is very helpful. Keep it up Lemon Tree.

Very good location, nice ambience. One of the best property by lemon tree. It cud be a 5 star rating if their kitchen was a bit better. Maybe it's just taste requirements, the food was a lil disappointing.apart from that the staff were excellent. Very helpful n polite.

Worthless location. Far from all activities in Alleppey. Really overpriced considering the facilities available in the hotel. Mosquitos kept us awake all night. Just don't go there. Instead book some hotel in
Alleppey town

View was good and pool was fantastic but the service was not good and there was understaff, the food was ok.

Pathetic service. There is nothing in name of service. Strong advice to avoid booking this property.

It was great experience staying in Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort. Front desk executive was very kind and helping. They allowed for an early check in and late check out. Room service was excellent. The lake view room stay was really a breathtaking experience. Thank you Lemon tree for such an excellent service.

Ridiculous. I had a bad Experince from the front desk. The staff don’t know how to welcome the guest and behave. He was quite rude and tough. He didn’t even allow to use the wash room for my family. He blocked them and said that they can’t use it without book a room first. Such an unexpected Experince first time in Alleppy. So I had to change the decision of staying in the resort. The front desk staff needs more training. Very poor

In kerela lemon tree hotel food service and room service is veryyyy poor. Food quality is very poor.

We stayed in this beautiful lake view property from 13/8/22 to 14/8/22. The view from the room was breathtaking and we were lucky enough to get the room which had both infinity pool and the lakeview! The room was clean and spacious! Manoj and front office female staff (sorry can’t remember the name) were really helpful and accommodated us early on request as we reached early than our check in time! Food needs little improvement but given the fact that the resort was re opened just 3 months ago, they have done a great job in managing full packed resort on that day! We would definitely visit this property on our next kerala trip for the Hospitality and Serene view.

Extremely disappointing and sub standard service. Even after taking entire amount of payment for booking room hotel calls on the day of booking to tell booking was done erroneously and it stands cancelled. That too at 3 pm when the check in time is 2 pm. Landline number doesn’t work. No one from hotel bothers to contact. Email to official id went unanswered for entire day. Anyone willing to take risk esp with family must try this property. Upkeep is also not as expected. Pool side beds are torn. Grass not cut and so on…. Like there is a saying in hindi. Oonchi dukaan pheeka pakwaan (big shop name but tasteless food). Food quality sub standard as well.

It is small property, with the lake view on one side.not much place to walk around.there is swiming poolnext to huge lake. The rooms are large and has lot of wood furniture.mostly functional, clean and neat.lake side has full glass to give you panoramic view of lake side.food in the citrus cafe is good.the breakfast is also good.with midium spread.the cafe is hugely under staffed in july 2022, there was a snooker table near reception but its not in playable condition.

The buildings could do with a fresh coat of paint. And the exteriors could be improved. Was a good property before.
Quality of food could be improved.

What a beautiful resort near by back waters at Alleppey, very nice location of the resort, nice & luxury rooms, well maintained services.the distance for the beach at Alleppey is almost 12 km from the resort
