Lily Pad on the Vembanad

This resort doesn't have TV because it's not for those people who come to resorts to watch TV for their entire lifetime. This is for those people who wish to enjoy some peaceful ambience at the lakeside—a very calm, quiet atmosphere with eco-friendly architecture and antique interior design. The resort compound is preserved naturally with shady trees and grass. Neat and tidy rooms and bathrooms. The food is expensive here and also the kitchen closes by early evening. So, finding food after that is very hard for guests. The complimentary breakfast is average. The swimming pool is well-maintained but some of the inlet pipes lost their diverting caps so if you aren't careful there may be chances for a leg injury. I hope they will fix it soon. Booking a room near the swimming pool may not be a wise option because it can disturb your sleep if someone is using the pool. The manager was friendly and cooperative. Overall worthful and good experience.

Shiju, the Manager was very helpful and best at his services. The rooms are big, spacious, and awesomely beautiful. The Location was wonderful. Really cherished our stay in Lily Pad. Best place for friends and family vacation, I would recommend to all my family and friends?

Good place. We went by Uber from Ernakulam station. However, you may find some drivers not accepting the ride. The staff is polite and helpful. Food was ok, we felt the prices were very high. Non vegetarian food was good. Vegeterian food was just ok. The manager Mr. Shyjin helps in arranging shikara ride, auto for local trips and taxis for intercity trips.
The property is aesthetic with good wooden structures. A small pond with Water Lillies are a delight to see when they bloom. The swimming pool was fairly maintained. You can sit by the pool area and watch the sunset along with tea which was very relaxing.
The room is spacious enough. Bathroom and toilets are clean. There is no view as such from the room. I recommend this hotel to stay in Kumarakom.

Great location on the banks lake vembanad but property can be maintained better.
Lots of insects even inside the rooms so with kids needs to be careful.
Rooms are big and only 5 rooms are there. Swimming pool is not so well maintained.
Manager Shaijin is very helpful.

Great location with super ambience. The manager Shyjin is extremely polite and cooperative. He was always personally available to assist us. He made sure we face no problems during our stay.

The best place to stay with your family and friends. A wonderful location with superb ambiance and service. Rooms were big with pool accessible from every side. Food served was really good even though a big pricy. Only thing lacking was that they didn't had TV for entertainment.

Good place but when we visited the co guest of lilypad were using the pool with loud music. The music shud not be disturbing for families who are there to have some good family time. Hope lilypad looks into this. The food was excellent. The staff and service was too good. It would have been better if the approach roads are bit more wide.

One of the finest place to stay at the affordable price. The food was very nice. It is one of the best place to enjoy our outings.

Great place with calm and peaceful atmosphere.amazing serene lake view along with a pool to have a perfect gateway. Shyjin is an amazing host, had some delicious traditional food. The Lily Pod is outstanding in every aspect. The architecture is gorgeous and comfortable. The rooms are big and every room has a different charm. What really made us feel like in paradise is the staff. All of them are so charming, helpful and work together as a well matched team. The food is delicious especially in such a delightful surrounding.

Easily one of the best places I have been. Super rooms (massive too), beautiful view and very well maintained. Their pool can be accessed at any time which is a huge plus. It's a good place to unwind and relax. The manager Mr. Shijin and the staff are very helpful and hospitable. The food is simply delicious and fresh, and they are flexible to make food of your choice, rather than the menu system. Will definitely come back here. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Excellent boutique lake villa on the Vembanad Lake. Property was going through an upgrade especially the infinity pool over looking the Vembanad Lake. The staff was a helpful lot always willing to assist. The local cook and the cusine was delicious. Will be back soon.

Good facility is not good but it's a secluded property, this good for couples. A pool is also there which looks over the lake.
