I loved these 2 days spent in this center. I came with a yoga group from France, I really liked the care and attention we were given. Top notch staff.
I just would have liked to have had an interpreter to speak to the doctor because unfortunately I don't speak English.
I can't wait to come back to find the lovely staff.

Benevolence, kindness from all the staff, pampered by everyone, 1st Ayurvedic experience, we are delighted to have spent 16 days there. The food was delicious and yet we are not vegetarians. A great moment for an unforgettable experience to repeat

Madukkakuzhy Lake and Mountain Ayurvedic Resort is situated in a beautiful natural setting, staffed by highly experienced and considerate staff, therapists and medical team. Custom treatments, daily consultation and charted out plan to improve each guest’s long term health is the honest intention of every person here. The daily yoga and numerous lecture demonstrations make the experience more meaningful. After a two week stay, I see significant reduction in pain and a good understanding of pain management techniques for the future. Nothing was too much trouble for the team here and they went out of their way to sustainably my health. They welcome feedback and incorporate the same immediately.

All in all, I am hoping to make an annual trip to take care of my health and wellbeing.

This is my second trip to madukkakuzhy ayurveda and this time I was at lake and mountains

The setting is surreally beautiful and serene. And when you combine that with the finest quality of care that Madukkakuzhy Ayurveda is known for, it is pure magic

The doctors are gentle kind and compassionate. Yet they firmly guide you towards what is good for you.

I made some great changes last year and this year I the treatments were even more effective, and I now go back with much much lesser pain, and the confidence that I know how to bring it down if it goes up again.

I feel like I just had a close interaction with a compass that directs me on the best path for me with respect to wellness.

Yes I got the pancakarma & Ayurvedic treatment for healing my post cervical spine tumor surgery. The doctors & therapist really did a great transformation and I am feeling very centered now. Thank you & I strongly recommend others to visit this Ayurvedic treatment center.

We have been in Ayurveda Treatment in January 2023 - it was the first time for me and my friend. We loved the place, the peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Every day we saw at least one doctor and had a morning and afternoon treatment. Ayurveda medicene and the fantastic food supported our healthy process. I highly recommend the place since everyone is very well educated and warm.

I had the chance to spend 2 weeks in Healing Island center. The surroundings are beautiful, the food excellent and the treatments very efficient! All the staff is super kind and make you feel very secure. I have intagrated some long lasting changes in my food intakes and 3 months later, i can still feel the benefits. Thank you.

Really nice place, clean, great food and great views, friendly staff. (Although for me personally, I found it very overbearing) Unfortunately from a medical prospective, I managed to get no help for any of the ailments i came with, we had daily doctor appointments to discuss our ongoing treatments but had the feeling they had already made up their minds and we're not actually listening. I stayed 3 weeks and left with my situation having gotten worse over my time there and was told it will get better over time but so far, i have seen no improvement, more then a month down the line. I left in a really desperate situation as my burping got severly aggravated by the medication they gave me. I had to go elsewhere to try and get the excessive burping stopped, which they managed to improve very quickly with a ginger juice shot for a week before going to sleep. So my personal experience was not good unfortunately, although I must say I met many people there, that were back for the 2nd or 3rd time and we're very convinced they were getting the help they needed, so maybe it was just not the right place or time for me. Make your own judgement. ️

First and foremost very serene and welcoming environs which calms and quietens us as long as you can leave your laptops and mobiles away. Great doctors and lovely staff. Since it is a small limited facility the service provided is no less than five star service. The treatment plan is unique to each individual according to their body type and needs. We were very satisfied on all fronts.

We had a very good experience. We were there for 5 days. Everyday is a different menu. They make a very healthy spread which actually tastes good. Felt very energetic at the end of the 5 days. The doctors and the staff are so well coordinated. They take very good care of your needs and health. Would definitely recommend

What a remarkable find, and what an amazing time we had! A last minute phone call helped us have the best 5 days of the year. Such a fantastic location and a family look after you so well! I don’t use the word family lightly - we left with such a heavy heart having forged a close bond with everyone there. The doctors, therapists, kitchen staff and overall resort management is absolutely top notch!

Loved the treatments, the village walks, the yoga sessions, just sitting in silence near the lake, and the best healthy food!

All praise for Madukkakuzhy Ayurvedic Hospital. The team is so dedicated, right from the doctors who check-in on you everyday, to the nurses who administer the treatment, to the support staff who prepare and serve the food and do your laundry. The location is also so scenic and that's another plus.

The doctors deserve special mention, they patiently answered all our questions and you can literally feel they're doing this as a service to humanity.

My first residential visit to an Ayurvedic Center. The 5 days spent at Madukkakuzhy was laid back with an ideal routine to nourish the body and the mind. The cottages, are comfortable with an idyllic view of the lake and nearby mountains. The daily routine of morning walks, an hour plus massages in the late morning focusing on specific ailments and a half an hour in the afternoon again focused on specific ailments are outstanding with well trained therapists. Add yoga, a few Ayurveda and cooking classes and tasty meals to go with an attractively priced package and I am already looking for my next visit from New York.

A True Gem.
The Center is located in the kerela countryside surrounded by nature and very secluded.
Food was vegetarian, delicious and a variety was offered over the course of 14 days, thanks to Biffin the chef. Specials were made individually if you are put on a specific diet eg diabetic.
The early morning walks into the countryside, were led by Manu, who recounted some tales from his youth and pointed out plants and gave us little bits of information about the surrounding plantations. We looked forward to the morning walks everyday.
The A. C cottages were comfortable, furnished adequately, and very comfortable. The room and bathroom are cleaned everday, thanks to Rene. Bedding and treatment robes are also replaced every three to four days. We enjoyed sitting on the small patio drinking ayurvedic tea and enjoying the view of the lake opposite.
There is no wifi in the rooms but its available at the reception. A comfortable space has been created if one needs to do some work. However having a data package is more convenient.
The outdoor shaded Yoga hall has an awesome view and is a wonderful venue for evening yoga.
Finally and most importantly Dr Jomi and Dr. Elizabeth were absolutely amazing. Dedicated to making sure we were comfortable and getting the treatment and medication we required. They hold daily consultations, to get your feedback on the treatments prescribed to us and ofcourse to monitor our progress. Many thanks to Dr. Robin who came in every Tuesday to overlook our treatment and give us yoga lessons.
The the staff are wonderful. Special thanks to the ladies who did my massages and made me feel like Cleopatra with the milk bath. Anjana, Amrita, Anu, and Jotsna, Donna and Agnes you will find them always ready to assist, with a genuine smile on their faces, you all are amazing.

I left Lake & Mountain feeling like a new person. I chose to go due to exhaustion and migraines. It was my first time taking part in Ayurvedic treatments especially designed for me. In the past I have periodically enjoyed synch massages, but the care at Madukkakuzhy was next level. During my much-too-short 7-day stay, each day I consulted with at least one doctor. The doctor was genuinely concerned with my wellbeing and based on my responses and how I felt that day, chose to either stick with the plan or tweak it based on my needs. I cannot stress enough how much of an individualized experience I received at Lake & Mountain. We often know that we SHOULD take better care of ourselves, but until someone flat-out tells us that we need to make changes, it’s hard to intentionally change one’s routine (or lack there of). Lake & Mountain is truly a special place that has the potential to change your life- if you so allow it. Maintaining an Ayurvedic lifestyle is difficult with the challenges and complexities of the “real world. ” I am not perfect and have not managed to do all of the morning exercises and follow my dosha diet as well as I had hoped, but I continue to do little things (drinking warm water in the morning and throughout the day, only drinking coffee on the weekends, and regularly taking the prescribed medications) that leave me feeling better and more energized. I cannot thank all of the doctors and staff at Lake & Mountain enough for their care and commitment to helping me live a healthier lifestyle. I’ll be back ️

Very good treatment and best choice for Ayurvedic treatment at Madakkakuzhy Lake and Mountains in Thodupuzha. The ambience of the facility, beauty of the nature and friendly caring Doctors, cleanliness and above all the gentle care of the Staffs are exemplary. Daily Morning Walk and Yogapractice are very comfortable and relief and also relaxation for the mind and body. I feel much better after 10 days of treatment for my Backpain. I had a lot of expectations about an Ayurveda treatment but that was the dream. Perfect stay, all the staff is exceptional and the food exquisite. I felt in a haven of peace, a magic bubble, pampered and loved. If you look for an authentic high quality treatment don’t overthink just book it!

We immensely enjoyed the 'karkadaga' individually tailored ayurveda treatment at the Healing island centre of Madukakuzhy Ayurveda. The punctuality and courteousness with which the centre works truly reflects the tradition and rich culture of our India. Its no surprise that the centre draws visitors from all around the globe. The resident doctors ensure round the clock medical care. The daily yoga sessions and nature walks in absolutely serene surroundings ensures holistic care for the mind, body and the soul. I wish Madukakuzhy Ayurveda great success in its efforts to keep the tradition of this ancient holistic care ongoing.

The Ayurveda people from ages. They have good facilities, doctors and quality of medicine is also good. Rates are quite on expensive side yet affordable considering the effectiveness. People across the world visit here for treatment and they have a very good network across the country.

I had no clue about Ayurvedic therapy on an experiential basis until I reached here. It was an out of the world experience and the ambience and hospitality to provide such a vibe is outstanding. The therapists are so kind and friendly. In addition to that the food that serve can be rated 5 stars for its taste and presentation.
One word about the location is also very much needed. It’s a spot in between the valleys of huge mountain rails. You must be there to see the other side of the world.

A spectacular valley below the Vagamon hills, surrounded by the Malankara reservoir, picturesque ambiance. A peaceful area, the resort offer everything for a grand stay to rejuvenate yourself. Almost like the Kashmir valley around Dal like in Srinagar.
