We booked the rooms in the last minute, but the arrangements were done quickly by Nijja and the pool view was enjoyable. Also, the stay of the period was extended.overall the experiwas good

I visited this week to this resort in varkala, one of the peaceful, quite and beautiful experience, you can hear the waves and have blissful view of the sea.they are a complete pack of best view rooms (super deluxe suite) & amazing service, specially want to mention Sameer who was very welcoming when we visited the resport, Aby who was always there cleaning swinning pool before we use, he washed our car and was so humble and sweet, he really a star of the place, Thanks magnolia team I shall visit again.

Service- i rate 0/5, i called them to get details on room and especially the toilet, the person disconnected the call. Later i called from other number and they received it but dint send me the picture of that even i asked to take and send as i prefer clean toilets. They have many fake reviews i believe as they concentrate on review part rather than service

Amazing Hotel with the most welcoming staff! The location is just a dream (located directly next to Odayam Beach), the facilities are clean and the pool is perfect to relax. Would totally recommend:)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Good rooms and pool. Though the price of food may be considered high, the quality and quantity definitely makes up for it.

This is my first time in varkala and i booked this resort and it was a complete bet because I don't know anything about this place but it was a wonderful experience, the resort is two minutes away from beach and i got a cottage which had a partial sea view, but it was amazing. I should definitely tell about the staff here they were so good and humble. Mr.sameer was great and helped us and Ajay arranged a vehicle for us to commute to places and service were great. And the property owner Mr. Ameer was a gem, we actually planed for two nights and three days but since we loved the place we extended for one day and Ameer had given another room and made the process Hassel free. And our check out was by 11 o clock and we asked Ameer for postponing the check out by Eve 5 and we were ready to pay extra amount but he gave a another small room with AC and with washroom for free and gave us a accommodation.
If you're visiting varkala i will highly recommend MAGNOLIA RESORT. Food in the resort was great you can enjoy here

We had an excellent stay in Magnolia. It is very near to the sea and the remaining places in varkala. The ambience was very good. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Had an amazing time in the swimming pool too.

We stayed in one of the cottages with much needed air con. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms and a terrace to sit on the evenings. The staff were delightful and always on hand to help out, making bookings and arranging taxis. We also enjoyed our breakfasts there every day. The property is a few minutes from the beach and about 10 minutes to the cliff top. Highly recommended.

I only & always give honest reviews so the owner can choose to take the feedback on board to improve customer satisfaction and experience which will ultimately help the long term future of the business.

Postives;
-Value for money
-Location close to the beach and is walkable to resturants such as sandybay and the varkala cliff walking street
-Room size (cottage) is spacious with a balcony, nice size beds
-Staff are friendly, helpful and good English speaking
-Pool is inviting, reletively clean, refreshing
-Food was really nice, good options and freshly prepared. Breakfast was delicious.

Improvements needed;
-Shower pressure is poor & gives very little cold water. Way to hot to shower safely. We was told that the cold water needs to be refilled.

#A little suggestion would be to do a check of the water levels in the evening time before people take showers. Or prioritise this over watering the grass and plants.

-Pool loungers. Currently only 3 available. Definitely fit another 3/4 or even create a nice lounging area on the grass area. This would be a beautiful area for guests to chill out in some shade, read a book and relax in the surroundings.

#To have a pool is such a luxury and is quite difficult to find in india especially during the brutal summer heat. Be a shame to not make more of the space.

-Food & beverage. I mentioned how the food was nice. However at times the service was a little to slow especially for the drinks. I understand the food maybe freshly prepared but the food and drinks should be sent out quicker. Maybe the resturant needs additional supplies that could help this. Drinks need to be made colder especially the fresh juice.

#I would suggest a member of staff every so often come over to the pool area or lounger areas and see if anyone would like anything. We would have spent alot more money believe me.

Summary
Overall we enjoyed our stay here and the reason i have given such detailed feedback is because this place has such huge potential and with some improvements and an eye for detail it could be perfect.

Stay was amazing, Food was also good. Friendly employees. Ameer, Ajay and Sameer helped us throughout the stay. Very kind and patient. Will definitely visit again.

We came as a group of 10 people and we got a good experience in the stay as it’s so comfortable and the staffs are jovial overall nice stay

Overall Best experience. Responsive staff. Very clean rooms. Accommodating to any special request. Clean Private pool. Fewer footprints and easy access to odayam beach.
